So this year for Black Friday there was a perfume/cologne counter at the front and I was looking for a gift FOR MY BOYFRIEND keep that in mind. So then I go up to her and I ask her for my Boyfriends cologne but I said "do you have stronger with you" and I'm not kidding she looked at me I'm a girl and then pointed to the Ariana Grande perfume so I was confused but then I just started to look for my Boyfriend's cologne by the men's clone and THEN I kid-you-not she looks at me and she said "these aren't for you" so then I was really annoyed and angry because what if I was apart of the LGBTQ+ community but I look at her I raised my voice and said "It Was For My BOYFRIEND" just like that then I walked away PERIOD Then DO NOT go to the BAKERY if you want anything custom because they are dumb and don't want your money because why did I even ask her? so my birthday is in a month or so but I asked a month before and they couldn't even give me a good answer. Because what do you mean you can't make red cake pops with silver glitter or anything but what ever I hate this place since they fired the only nice person there. All the other people aren't really there it's like they are but not approachable so? But for real why can't we make it? Wouldn't recommend the tire shop. It's cheap for a reason. The techs don't know what they are doing damaged my tire and wouldn't refund me what it costs to repair it. I joined Sam's Club about 3 weeks ago as there was a $8 membership promotion. At the Eagan store they were out of membership cards. I inquire at this store and was informed they don't have cards anymore. Great so I either have to keep this paper receipt in my wallet or down load and use their app. I can't stand useless apps that take up space and memory on my phone. I did a "Karen" and wanted to cancel and get my $8 back, but she wouldn't let me. I shopped anyway. The 40 packs of water were more expensive than Costco. Practically the same food items. Sams has more junk food and candy for a concession stand. I did like their rotisserie chicken better here than Costco. I may go here occasionally but I am forever a Costco member. The clientele who shop here are inconsiderate also. I may laminate my paper receipt as I refuse to use their app. At least Costco still issues membership cards and offers a 100% guarantee on membership. read more

My husband went to Sam's to pick up an order and saw a few people going into the exit (didn't realize they were staff). Anyway, a manager rudely told him they open at 8am. It was 7:57 at the time. She made him leave and go to the entrance. Of course it was locked because it wasn't time yet so he went to the car to calm down. IT WAS 7:57 OMG. There is a better way to let someone know. Just saying, I'm sorry our staff are still arriving, if you don't mind waiting until we are fully operational or something like that. That was a rude way to start the morning. They should make it possible to give ZERO stars just for the Sam's Clubs in MN, especially Apple Valley. We're active duty Army and have been to Club's all over the US in the past ten years and have never had as much trouble as the two I've been to in Minnesota. "Manager" Andrew in Apple Valley- hey guy, when you have a PAYING club member on the phone who is upset because of screw ups (yes, more than one!) YOUR staff made, dismissively saying "well people make mistakes" will only irritate the customer more. I'm not too sure if you thought I was trying to get something free out of you, but I wasn't. All I wanted to hear was an apology and how YOU, as a supposed MANAGER, was going to ensure that your staff paid better attention to what they're doing and don't mess up simple tasks in the future. You may have thought their carelessness wasn't a big deal, but messing with someone's money- no matter how much, could be causing a lot of trouble and it's unacceptable how you obviously chose to ignore that. You may think giving a refund on a gift card was fixing their mistakes because I wasn't right in front of you, but if I was stranded somewhere, wtf good is a Sam's Club gift card that I don't even have in my hand going to do me better than having MY money still in MY account to access?? Your flippant and arrogant attitude is pitiful. I've managed military Exchanges and dealt with REAL upset customers like you wouldn't even believe. I'll tell you what I told all my staff- think of your oldest and dearest family member. Now think how would YOU want someone to treat THEM if they were having an issue and that's how you talk to people. Went to Apple Valley Sam's Club pharmacy Friday and it was 6:53 and they would not let us get Advil Cold and Sinus. I said your not supposed to close until 7! He said register is closed, I can't do nothing now. He was a manager who has been their for a long time. The reason I know he's been their so long is my wife refuses to go to that pharmacy because his attitude is so rude. We go 10 miles out of our way to Eagan Sam's because the manager is so pleasant and extremely helpful. FYI read more

This location is fair in size and has a decent parking situation. The store is most always well stocked and does a good job about hiring friendly staff. Love the prices on produce and enjoy a fast bite to eat at the cafe up front. Although it is not reflective of store employees, I would say that the overall rating is somewhat low because some of the members who shop here can be rude or outright have no regard for sharing space (near the dairy coolers for example). read more

Loved it! Went with my best friend! Lots of things they had that Costco didn't have! The only downside was that some of the store smelt like rotten eggs! But other than that it didn't take away from the experience! They had great low prices on items! Decent variety of different types of things! The store was easy to get around and locate things. It didn't overwhelm me the way Costco does. It wasn't too big or too small of a store. I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE SCAN AND GO OPTION! Costco doesn't have the option so you have to wait in a long ass line! But the option to scan and go is there at sam's! It makes things, fast, and convient! Just all around a great first impression. I love how offend Sam's has instant savings on things as well! Sam's club is very underratted tbh. The only thing I wanna add is that they don't really have a big selection for cats and I'm feeling my pet is being left out! I'd think it was ok. But I'd say TWO. I've only been here once. I forgot what my dad or mom bought there, but when we left, we got yogurt. It was the same as the yogurt we buy at Costco. It tasted kind of like ice cream. So make a better effort next time, Sam's Club. Grading: C- Work on it. read more

Dear god man. Cashiers look like they havent had any sleep in a year, and move slower than a dead tree. All of them. Guy behind me in line had 2 items. Took 7 minutes to ring up and walk out. I had to stop and verify my receipt before leaving. Cashier rang up everything 4 or 5 times, managed to void most of the extras out. She was too busy looking at the door to pay attention to what she was doing. Almost had to fight with her to remove two extras rings of a single can of peanuts. Folks in the few other open lines apparently weren't fairing any better. Time to start shopping another location. This one is just disappointing. read more

Oh my god it's like some people on Yelp go out of their way to give themselves a bad experience. If you use the Sam's Club app to scan items as you put them in your cart, you can completely skip slow checkout lines. This is how literally every store should operate. I recently made a purchase from Sam's Club and rec'd via email a survey. Requesting me to rate their services. I did. At end I rec'd an thank you offer for a free gift for participating and sharing my opinions. There a selection of gifts to choose from. I would need only to pay for the shipping cost. I discovered on my bank statement a charge of $49.99 from "ADVANCEPROTECHPURIFIED." I had to call my bank to get the phone number to company 855-428-4168. Turns out by accepting the "free gift" I was enrolled in some membership. That would charge me $49.99 each month. Which would entitle me each month to a $129.00 gift card to purchase from a list of selected items. I had no knowledge nor was there a mention of any kind of membership. I told the rep that I did want this membership. She agreed to cancel the membership and stated there no other charges going forward. I had to request a refund of $49.99 already charged to my account. She state that she could refund me 31 percent of the amount. Then to 50%. I firmly stated that I wanted the full amount refunded back to me because it was not disclosed to me before charging me the nature of this membership. After I informed her if did get the full amount would report this to the state attorney general office. I had to wait over 30 mins on hold to resolve this issue. How sad that Sam's Club would stoop to such a low level sham and a deceptive scam. Shameful and greed. No wonder we have so many laws and regulations. read more

This is a review of Sam's dried over-cooked rotisserie chicken. Yes it is hard to believe but you can screw up a rotisserie. I am guessing you have to put it on the rotisserie pretty early in the morning so it can cook long enough to take all the moisture out of the bird. I have had jerky that was juicier. We were very disappointed by the optical department at this SAMs Club location. The supervisor of the day, Sandy, would not dispense a single lense sample even though we had a prescription in hand and we've been members for years! Two other locations, Apple Valley & St Louise Park, were much more accommodating. Shame on you for giving SAMs Club a bad name. This location needs a HUGE lesson in customer service. So I went with my sister in law to SAMs club to buy sheets for my bed the other day, I had to use her membership to buy it and then I paid for the sheets myself with my own card. Well I bought the wrong sheets and I am back here trying to return the sheets. With the receipt and with the card I bought the sheets with. And they can't look up my purchase or let me return it. I have the receipt and card and everything and.... No go. I had to call my brother to come down and show them his membership so i can return the shit I bought. She just came over and talked to me and let me know that it's bc they need to look up the membership information to return it. I asked what the point of the receipt was and she said there's no point to the receipt except to get out of the door. She asked if I'd like to become a member of SAMs club so I could make purchases on my own from now on and I laughed in her face and said I had intended to cancel Costco and come here.... And now I absolutely will not. I'd rather drive all the way to Burnsville than deal with this fucking place. My brother said he's canceling his membership once he gets here. read more
