I'm an older male with a special needs son. Retired from military over 20 years ago. There's a pharmacist Kaitlyn that has went above and beyond to help my wife and I get a prescription filled that another CVS location said they never had the product at the last minute and son was out of medication that he requires. See a bad review from an older lady from Destin Florida which is a long ways away from Erlanger. I actually lived in Ft Walton for 12 years and Destin is only a few miles from there. It goes both ways and treat ones with respect and they will normally treat you back with respect. Can't stand ones that think they have plenty of money and everyone should cater to them and they wind up ruining a career of a very hard worker by posting a bad review. Want to take the time to say Thank you for helping us in a rut a couple times in past couple months. If I could give 0 stars I would. EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNEMPATHETIC PHARMACIST. My friend and I went to this pharmacy to pick up 4 prescriptions as I had just had surgery. The Pharmacist proceeded to tell me that they only had 2 of my medications ready (they weren't the pain control.) She states at that point she could have them "in just 2 days" to which I explain to her I just had my tonsils and adenoids cauterized and I cannot go that long without pain medication, she then tells me she can call other cvs to see if they have them in stock. I say okay, I will take the 2 they have and stand by for her to call and see if the other stores have the other 2 in stock. The pharmacist comes back and tells me that NONE of the CVS around have my medication, the closest is in Cincinnati (we are 40 minutes away at that time, I live an 1.5 hours away from Cincinnati.) and said it would take a few to get my other two ready again because she returned them. I let her know I cannot go that far, to Cincinnati, for multiple reasons. Pharmacist then says she'll need to call the doctor to see if they can change the medication prescribed to something they do have in stock, I say okay and I myself, proceed to call my doctor. I go to another department and "pop a squat" on a chair as I am wobbly/hurting and she needed time to get the prescriptions back together. I am back there (other dept) for about 10 minutes when I decide to go back to the pharmacy to see if my 2 are ready for pick up and to see what they've decided with the other 2. She tells me the other two prescriptions have been sent to Latonia. While she's getting my other 2 prescriptions ready, I tell my friend "I don't understand why this wasn't communicated when the prescriptions were called in, this definitely should have been seeing as I just had surgery, I'm in pain and can't drive anywhere myself." Now, I'm not sure if that's what did it for this woman or if it had nothing to do with me but another pharmacist helping someone else felt compelled to tell me I was an "impossibly difficult person." Not only do I feel she was completely out of line, unprofessional and disrespectful, it's also simply not true. I went to a whole other department to give the other pharmacist time to get my things together, I was polite up until she thought it was okay to pop into something she had nothing to do with and speak to me like that. I will admit at that point, I became angry and had some choice words. I have never been treated like this at this pharmacy and I have been going there for at least 10 years. I will be switching pharmacies today and calling corporate to inform them of how their employees treat the people they work with. read more
