You pharmacy technician who I just spoke to was extremely rude to me. She claimed she has been a technician for over 35 years and knows how to do her job. This comment she made was extremely unnecessary. Simply because I asked her to ask the pharmacist if they carry a particular medication named Mefloquine. She said when she typed it in the system it was not coming up. I had a feeling it was being typed wrong but I was nice and asked her to pls ask the pharmacist and that's when she made that extremely rude comment. Pls this is not how you talk to customers. Treat people with kindness and the way you would like to be treated. Management team pls talk to your employees. This was uncalled for. I am not happy at all at how I was treated. read more

Common courtesy, and obviously knowledge of their systems and codes. as I was greeted very nicely in the window by the first associate however, when you come in to the counter, they are on the phone making personal calls feet up in the chairs. I see why the stars are so low can't say it everyone in the store, but definitely the pharmacist. read more

Ok... it's just a Pharmacy right... No!! It's the busiest Pharmacy I've ever seen in this somewhat declining (God help us) but great country nevertheless. Despite some of the rude people they have to deal with, (If I have to wait I clearly see that percentage has gone up from my younger years), they handle everything and everyone (nice, rude and indifferent) respectfully and with class. Everything remains terrible here. Ridiculously long waits. Medications not ready despite notifications they are. Now if you call there's not even an option to talk to a person. You have to leave a voicemail and they never call you back after you leave a voicemail. Our insurance still requires us to use CVS. The incompetence is rampant here. read more

I wish I could get zero stars. Every time you come to CVS in Forney the lines both inside and out are ridiculously long regardless of the time of day. Getting a text saying your prescription is ready showing up and it's not. Today's experience was the worse. My entire family has the flu. Our prescriptions were sent over Friday night which I knew wouldn't be ready until tomorrow so I didn't even bother going up there. Saturday rolls around and when we FINALLY get a text at 4:42 pm saying it was ready I got the strength to go up there and it's getting close to 6 (closing time). I was in line before 6, they were helping the person in front of me and when I pulled up to the window they pulled down the metal screening and locked the window right in front of me. I could not believe my eyes. I will be pulling all mine and my husbands monthly prescriptions, any future meds my family needs and going elsewhere. To say I'm disgusted is an understatement. I get a text saying my prescription will be ready at 3 pm. I go in there the next day and they say it will be ready in an hour. I waited in traffic from a train for 45 minutes, wait in line at CVS another 25 minutes just for you to tell me it will be ready in an hour. I said I'll come back tomorrow. I got a text on the way home that it was ready. This is so frustrating. I was going to just give 1 star but the pharmacist is really helpful. read more

This store is positively the worst pharmacy in the state. I ordered prescriptions on 10/20/2023 and on 10/27/2023 I went to the store to pick them up. After waiting in line for 1 hour and 15 minutes it finally became my turn to arrive at the window. The medications that I ordered a week prior were in process and not ready yet. I told them since I've waited this long in line already and they informed me they were filling them I told the man I would wait in line for them just like everyone else apparently did since each car was at the window for at least 15 minutes and I know of one person that was at the window for 25 minutes. I informed them I wasn't waiting inside as they suggested but would take my turn here at the window like everyone else was doing and he told me he would call the police if I didn't move. This pharmacy has consistently gone downhill over the last 5 years we've been using it. The minute clinic here is a total waste of money. The only thing you're gonna get that's helpful is a doctor note for work or school. If you're sick, they're just going to swab you for whatever is currently going around. No basic exam, no diagnosis if your swabs come back negative. They'll just tell you to go see your regular doctor. You know, the one that doesn't have availability, which is why you went to minute clinic in the first place. You will have to beg for a prescription to help with your constant vomiting. And even then, they'll write it with the children's dosage. Because you know, people apparently abuse that, I guess? In case you missed it, that was sarcasm. This has been going on for about a year consistently. But you best believe they'll bill you and your insurance like they did a full work up! read more

Customer service at this location is the worst I've ever had at any retail store. They have been giving me the run around with my prescription for 2 days. At first they said they had them on hold because of my insurance..... I don't have insurance. They took the "hold off" and said it was cleared and would be ready in an hour. My doctor called in my prescription, I waited three hours then went to pick it up. I waited in line for 15 mins, drive thru, when I got to the window they told me to come back in 30 mins. I went back in 45 mins and went inside and even though everyone was standing there they said we're closing for lunch come back in 30mins. I had to move from Brookshire's Pharmacy (best in Forney) when Walgreens bought them out an tripled the prices and voided the previous coupons and programs. So, transferred to CVS as BCBS/Texas has them as the preferred pharmacy. Wrong, this is the worst pharmacy for service I have ever seen. But the worst is their web site and mobile app. You can't get anything done with it. Tried to enroll in their delivery service (drive through is 10 cars deep most of the day, inside is the same) but the enrollment page just kept cycling back to the start and never went anywhere. I will say that once you get hold of a pharmacist they are helpful, but overworked. May have to go mail order or Amazon. read more

We've given this pharmacy a fair shake for 10 months, but after multiple RX mixups, disinterested employees and management, general unpreparedness and disorganization, we have to move all our business to a different pharmacy. I checked out at the Pharmacy and I gave Brianna my Phone number associated with CVS membership card which I had at least $20 savings on CVS card. She acted like she was inputting my number when I gave it to her and I asked her to used my credits toward my purchase. Of course, she said but she didn't because I got a receipt from her and I usually get my receipt emailed to me. She just had my 61 year old mother crying because she refused to give her her pain medicine that she desperately needs for her fibromyalgia because her DL was a few months expired. Mind you she told the girl she has an appt at the dmv next week they have just been backed up because of covid. Instead of explaining or being kind she just said "sorry" and refused to let my mom speak to the manager. So because Kennedy is such a horrible and non understanding or even sympathetic pharmacy employee with an extremely rude and careless tone, I had to leave my sick son and drive to cvs to give my ID and they didn't even ask how I was related to her! CVS just stopped free next day mail out delivery. What's going on? Its not like I'm asking for same day. Do if you want next day delivery you have to pay $5 a month for a delivery service. During this inflation and recession older people on social security and fixed incomes have to pay for a monthly service to get there prescription in a timely manner. The lines are forever long. Always. Whether you drive through or go inside. It is a long, slow process no matter what day or time you go. And once it's your turn it still takes much longer than it needs to. But the other part of my low star rating is that they texted me that my Rx was ready and it wasn't. So then I waited in the forever line only to be told, it's not ready. They offered to put a rush on it so it would be 30-45 mins, but then I'd have to come back and wait in line again. So frustrating. A sweet neighbor told me she goes to Brookshire's. No lines, lower prices. I'm going there next time. read more

Most of these reviews are old. I switched from Walgreens to CVS at the beginning of 2020 and they are always prompt and friendly. They do a great job and no issues in a year. The staff is pleasant and very helpful. read more

OH MY GOODNESS! STAY Far away from this pharmacy unless you need to get out your frustrations..as this is the place that will do it.I have been a faithful client of this pharmacy for several years.. In the last several visits there is a problem EVERY time.I have YET to get a perscription filled in one visit..The last perscriptions have required me to return at lease 2 times..THEIR job must be to make filling a perscription as difficult as possible..here are each of the reasons I have had to return.. 1." The persciption says expires in 7 days " I was there on the 7th day..so they wouldnt fill it 2.Daughter had surgery -in pain terribly- The dr mistakingly writes the script for the year 2018.. Had the DR call and ask that it be filled..He said his mistake..They said no.. 3.Last 3 times I had a script filled for a certain size tube of medication..this time they gave me a tube that was 1/3 the size..I said no..need larger tube please as states in my records..They said no.. 4. Went to take my perscription in today that will expires in 7 days..Today was the 6th day..They had none of the medication..I said no problem.. just keep the script and notify me when its ready.They said NO! Bring it back on Tuesday when we have the medication..I said perscription will be expired by then..She said nothing I can do..so AGAIN no script.. IT GOES ON AND ON! So believe me STAY FAR AWAY from this place..I drove to walgreens script was filled on the spot..now that was amazing..but truly FORGET this place!!! Worst employees and service EVER! read more

I only use cvs because my insurance makes me. Every time i come here the service is horrible its always the same bs. Ur prescriptions r not ready or the doc never sent them. I mean 1-2 times ok docs ofc can make mistakes but 8 times n different docs ofc. Have the same insurance for 4 years. After billing insurance I had one prescription cost 8.00 and another cost 50.00. Switched to Kroger's pharmacy. Got faster service and when I refilled the same 2 prescriptions. One was 4.00 and the other was 30.00. Weird is all I can say! read more

Avoid! The pharmacist (Tommy) refused to give my prescriptions saying I had already picked them up 2 days prior. Not sure how that's possible when I got even more text messages today saying to come pick them up. He then accused me of being a druggie because I have 2 prescriptions for muscle relaxers. I had neck surgery and now have 8 screws and a plate holding my neck together with more surgeries coming up. I wasn't getting prescriptions for pain meds I was getting muscle relaxers that insurance already approved. My husband (a surgeon) went back up to cvs to try to sort it out and this fool wouldn't even speak to him. He ran in the back like the low life coward he is. I'll be moving all prescriptions to Kroger. I'd suggest you all do too. read more

The people I have encountered at this pharmacy are completely incompetent. Unfortunately, I have had to use them for for a couple of years now and each time I have ever had to fill a prescription they have messed it up. Yes, EVERY TIME. It wouldn't matter who was working, morning or night, busy or slow. They could verify my information, have my insurance card, and the prescription... then inevitably I would show up and something would be wrong. There was some excuse as to why they could not fill it and they would have to call the doctor, so I would need to wait at home for them to call me. Well, the call would never come. After waiting patiently, I would call them only to be told that they couldn't get a hold of the doctor. (Yes, each time, regardless of the doctor.) I think perhaps their phones did not work right or maybe that is just their excuse for not doing their jobs. Either way, I would end up calling the doctor myself upon which they would call CVS to fix the problem. Then wait some more while they filled it. It was ridiculous. Oh, and there was also the time that they were trying to charge me full price even though I had insurance that covered it. I had to wait for them to figure that one out, too. That being said, I would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone. read more

Worst pharmacy I've ever had to deal with! They call me last week 4 times with voicemail saying my prescription is filled (day after Dr sent it over)... awesome. My husband goes to pick it up after 3 days... we don't have anything for your wife. Ummm ok... what about the 4 calls you left her saying it was ready? Then I spend 3 DAYS on the phone with them trying to get them to get their side of things together... everyday, excuse after excuse of why my prescription hasn't been filled. FINALLY, today I call them to check (this is day 10 since the Dr prescribed the medication btw) they said they are working on filling it now and will be ready in 30 min. That was at 4pm... at 6 pm (2 HOURS LATER) I sit in their drive thru line which everyone knows is so slow that I sit there for 30 min... at 630p it is finally my turn... GUESS WHAT? "OH WE DON'T HAVE THAT PERSCRIPTION READY... IT'S SHOWING NOT BEING FILLED TILL THE MAY 5TH"..... I'm finished with this pharmacy! I recommend going to Kroger or Wal-Mart pharmacies and STAY AWAY FROM FORNEY CVS! read more

They do not fill prescriptions as written by doctor. It's filled how their computer wants to kick it out. This causes delays with refills and insurance coverage. POOR customer service.
