Super nice here but I received a text saying my prescription was ready to pick up. 35 minutes early! Fantastic as I was in pain. I get there 20 minutes later and the pharmacy is closed. So I ask and was told they close between 1:30 and 2:00. So be aware before going. I was in the area and I wanted to get some snacks. I saw these Rind Snacks that I had never seen before. Doing some research I found out that these had an interesting history. Would you even bring your dog to be treated in the parking lot of CBS parking lot in a shed that has air conditioner on the side of the health care worker NOT the sick person who might be dying of Covid. Shame on CVS pharmacy for the inhumane treatment of Covid patients. This horrid and inhumane treatment is reminiscent of a third world country or worse. They are only out for profit. People park their cars in front of these sheds and then are not examined but are are questioned in this two sided box. How cruel! Where I'm from in Georgia, I had a tool shed larger than this. How can anyone think that this is adequate for any type of patient care. My dog gets treated better by a board certified doctor of veterinary medicine. Now most insurers and Medicare feel we're only worthy of a nurse with a master's degree. So my dog gets better treatment tenant a human being and gets brand name medication and they are much cheaper than our brand name medication. CVS pharmacy is wrong to have sheds for sick patients (I don't care if they are infectious). Set up a time in your regular clinic just to see these patients and then disinfect. It's a shame that this CVS is located on the terrible corner of Fed Hwy & 17 which is where the homeless population have made their corner. When you park your car, be prepared to get approached and asked for money. Inside the store, you will most likely see a few more wandering and upon exiting again be approached. This is not CVS' responsibility however it is a deterrent to shopping at this location. On another occasion, a man was in the store explaining loudly that he had been exposed to COVID-19 and wanted to be tested. At this time, CVS had a mobile testing unit right outside in the parking area. We asked the cashier why he entered the store and she replied everyone does! We placed a complaint with CVS 800#. All in all, I love CVS but not this particular location. Today in the parking area is a half dressed man taking apart and working on a car - quite the eyesore! 7-8-22 1:20 PM Went to the Minute Clinic and I didn't think it could get worse but yep I decided to use this pharmacy. I even gave them time after my appointment and walked around. I picked up a magazine, two pints of Ben & Jerry's on special, and ginger candies. So after waiting in line my turn and the girl asked my name couldn't find prescriptions. Than she asked for my date of birth and couldn't find my prescriptions. Next I gave her my drivers license she couldn't find my prescriptions. So the lady training her said she was entering the wrong letters of the alphabet. I kid you not. Once she got my prescription I find out the CVS pharmacist took it upon herself to deny my ibuprofen and tell me just to take a handful over the counter instead. Yeah that would work if I didn't have stomach issues you moron. Never mind I pay and leave vowing to never return. So I get home to find the nasal spray they didn't have the size I required so gave me three small ones instead. Probably testers they get for free. CVS I didn't think you could go any lower. I've been here a couple of times. Though one of the larger CVS pharmacy stores, it's also one of the more screwed up ones. Everything you do here seems to take forever to accomplish or get done. One of the reasons for that is that everyone working here seems to be texting or doing some form of multitasking which they aren't very good at doing. Then, as for the texting, which is even being done by those restocking the shelves, I doubt any of it to be work related unless they somehow find business associated texts to be funny and worth laughing about. Though they have a drive through for quick prescription pickups, I have found it not to be any quicker or better. With one car ahead of me, I waited thirty minutes in line which by that time I had a whole line of cars behind me. The reason for it seemed rather obvious as the drive through clerk also seems to also be answering all of the incoming phone calls, hence continually interrupted when trying to service pick up customers. read more

I had an emergency situation with a medication used to help me stay sober from pain pills. I was leaving for a cruise in 2 days. I located a Dr. who worked with people with SUD's and couldn't have been more compassionate. He had no problem prescribing the medication. He told me not to use CVS, but it was the closest to our hotel and I did not have a vehicle, so he sent the prescription to this CVS. I got a phone call from the pharmacist and he told me he would not fill the prescription and he was inactivating it, instead of allowing me to use another pharmacy.......talk about playing God! He said the Dr. was not from within 30 miles of the CVS and neither was I........never heard of that one! He told me the medication was not used by people in recovery and it was scheduled. This guy was a complete #@$hole and I don't know how he got a pharmacy degree. Now I get to go on my anniversary cruise and feel miserable the entire time......never using CVS again.......for anything! If you cannot tell, I'm fumed! read more

The pharmacy team is very helpful, both on the phone and in person. We just had an out of state prescription filled. A couple days ago I called from across the state, talked to a very helpful and informative pharmacist, and the prescription was ready days before we arrived here in Fort Lauderdale. In person, the entire pharmacy team was helpful and knowledgeable. The other employees in the store were very helpful too. Every was very nice to us and they did excellent work! Terrible service all around. My first time here. I had a whole shopping list for the beach. I brought to the register, a cooler , coals , sunblock , a pack of water , ice , etc. The employees were helping other customers at the express check out. I'm there patiently waiting, didn't complain not even once. 2nd employee comes to help out, she says can I help the next person? Meanwhile the employee at the register I'm in, something went wrong with another customer at express check out, she brings the customers belongings to help her there. Didn't acknowledge that I was there. Meanwhile I'm standing right in front of all the items. She says can I help the next person. I said am I a ghost? I did nothing wrong to any of them. Mind you there was no line when I was at the register. The line was at the express check out. Worst cvs experience EVER. Only 1 worker and only 1 self checkout was working. Worker was with another customer while I was scanning on the 1 open self checkout. The machine wouldn't take off the discount. I pressed 'help' and patiently waited until he had a minute. He came over and said 'you have to put your number in first' cancelled my order walking away. So I did as he told me. Still would not discount the goods. Then he says 'I can't help you there you will have to come to the counter' however instead of taking me next he took another patron who was in line after me! He really couldn't care less. I really didn't have the time to wait for him to get around to it especially when the patron he was helping also was complaining because she didn't get the discount price. Proof of cluelessness: After submitting my very negative response to the CVS survey regarding my extremely disappointing experience in this CVS, imagine my surprise to receive an incredibly inappropriate email from Balwant Ramsook declaring, "We are delighted that we were able to provide you with a great store experience. As the manager, I am particularly pleased that you found description of compliment." Obviously, he did not even read the responses in my survey! Shame on him! If you're wondering, while attempting to use a "40% off" coupon, which excludes "sale & promotional items," it turned out nearly every item in the store was "buy 1, get 1 for 50% off" (the equivalent of only a 25% discount). There was only one item in CVS on my shopping list that the "40% off" coupon could be used for...but it was marked up in CVS to a price that was so high, that it cost the same in CVS AFTER the discount as it would have at T4rg3t's non-sale, regular price. What a marketing blunder! Anyone who can do math will never bother trying to use a "40% off" coupon at CVS again. Also, there was a long line at the cash register. The cashier desperately kept trying to convince customers to use a self-service kiosk to check out. She was the only cashier visible. Thus, the store is clearly understaffed. My recommendation is not to shop at CVS. At this point, there are enough alternate retail & online choices for the same products at much lower prices. Sorry, CVS. read more

I was traveling out of the country and forgot one of my meds. I coordinated with my doctor to send the prescription to this CVS which was close to the airport. I had to use the Minute Clinic as my doctor had not sent my prescription yet. Though the person in front of me took forever (it felt that way), the nurse worked quickly with me getting my prescription over to the pharmacy in about 15 min. I had spoken to the pharmacy in advance and they had my prescription ready within 5-10 min and I was back to the airport with time to spare. Much thanks to them!! read more

This pharmacy is awful. They mess up prescriptions and, most recently, I had a rx formula called in for my infant which she needs as its the only formula she can tolerate - it's been 5 days since it was called in so I reached out to check on the status after hearing nothing from the pharmacy. Shockingly, after me calling this morning, they informed me for the first time that it's "discontinued". That's false as wal mart carries it. When I told them it's not "discontinued", the pharmacy went on to claim they apparently cannot obtain it, but didn't even have the decency to notify me. Not my favorite CVS, but in a hurry on the way to another appt, it'll do. Have a good assortment of black hair items, but less than some of the other CVS stores in the area. They have self-checkout which is a great help when in a rush. They service a lot of tourists which explains their product mix. Located at a busy intersection, it's great for a quick trip. read more

The worst pharmacy ever! My husband's prescription that I refilled on their app was, of course, not ready AGAIN even though I had gotten multiple texts messages saying it was ready for pick up. After telling me it wasn't ready, she asked me when I would like to pick it up... Is she serious!?!? Then she said it wouldn't be ready for 40mins. I called 40mins later and it was NOT, I I was put on hold for 25mins, hung up, called back and put on hold for another 15mins until I hung up again. This is just one idiotic instance with this place... One time, they even refilled one of his scripts with a totally different pill and I was lucky to get a sorry before the pharmacist rushed away to the next customer. We miss Walgreens. I need to find a new pharmacy that my husband's insurance covers because CVS is terrible. This place has the worst customer service and their system is all backwards! read more

I called during the day to confirm the time to do passport photos. The woman told me it's 24 hours. So I went there sound 9:30pm but I was told it's closed. The woman in the counter checked someone called Mike by the microphone after I explained & she still said the same thing. I called other CVS & went one of them who does the passport photos. What they did was to take a photo in front of the white background which anybody can do as long as you have a camera. How can it be closed when I see the white background in there? Cynthia at the pharmacy was such a delight! She went absolutely above and beyond (without me even having to ask) to figure out my insurance issues. She faxed things over to my doctor so I wouldn't have to call and she also got on the phone with my insurance and took care of whatever issues I was having through insurance. She did all of this without me even having to ask. I must have been going to the wrong places my whole life because I've never had a pharmacist be so on top of things as Cynthia was. As soon as she told me there were issues, I got out my phone to call the doctor and insurance and both times she saw me getting on the phone, she sweetly said she went ahead and took care of it or would take care of it herself! She was extremely helpful in more ways than just one. I truly appreciate her customer service. read more

Been here 3 times & they didnt save my insurance information. Gave them my insurance information, waited, was called, told one of my medications was covered, gave a coupon & told they would prepare (re-prepare) my medication. If I ever come back to Minute Clinic I will absolutely tranfer my prescription to Walmart or another pharmcy. CVS has never changed from being poor service pharmacy with higher prices. read more
