Full service pharmacy with an interesting concept which included a gift shop of unique items. The pharmacy was the rear of the store and the browsing for holiday gifts was simple at the front. A decent supply of holiday cards and even yo-yos and facial beard lotions which was suprising. There were so many odd items, some I cant really describe correctly so I wont even try. Parking is plentiful during the daytime in the immediate area but PaybyPhone only. Fun shop to browse and maybe find an uncommon funny gift. read more

Terrible service. My doctor ordered a compounded medication on Tuesday and I called on Wednesday asking for the status. They claimed they needed 48 hours to compound the medication. It was stated to me that by Wednesday or Thursday I would get a call to pick up the medication. I never got a call. I called today - an entire week after - and the man that answered was disrespectful and stated "oh the medication has been ready and we have been sending texts but it doesn't look like they went to your phone number". He cut me off multiple times and clearly didn't care about the fact I needed this medication a week ago. No one EVER called me. No one ever followed up with me. This place's follow up and care for their customers horrible. STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!! TRASH SERVICE!!!!!! read more

Las Olas Chemist is hands down the best pharmacy around. If you've never had a personal pharmacist or have always been dealing with the big box chains like CVS or Walgreens, you have no idea what you have been missing. Here the pharmacist, who is also a compounding pharmacist, really takes an interest in you and will go out of his way to make sure you get the best and that things are done right. I stopped by, told him I had a runny nose and wanted some Sudafed. He told me he had Sudafed but said that given my condition I might be better off using an antihistamine, which because they are in the process of moving, he didn't have in the store. But, he said just give me a minute and I'll get some of the best for you. So he grabbed some keys, went out the door and about 5 minutes later returned with an over the counter drug that he thought might work best for me. Then after trying it, he was right. It did work a whole lot better for me and the whole process is just an example of how great this pharmacy happens to be. So it's no wonder they are Five Stars rated along with my Five Stars to add to it. read more

Chemist-Mark and his caring crew are hands down a relationship you want to have in your life! I moved down from NYC 2+ yrs ago for work. I have always been healthy but I had elderly kitty (Isabella) who was declining , I did everything I could for bizzy bee, which included some unorthodox and expensive treatments/medications (Chemist/Mark helped me through it). She did not suffer and passed peacefully, bless her little soul. Well not long after I needed to go to NYC for an event and was pressed to get vaccine to be able to travel there. I went to Publix and got first Moderna shot. Within week I started to becomes very sick and subsequently was diagnosed with Guillain barre Syndrome (look it up). Long story short, 8 months in hospital (right!?!) and now home LTD, Chemist/ Mark is again helping and taking care of me with array of medications (something like 28/day??). How do you put a price or value on a relationship with company/person/team who knows you, who you can call to help you with that? read more

This small town style shop reinforces a down to earth, personal touch that you don't find around these days. Prescriptions are always ready quickly from call-ins and service is always polite and courteous. Mark is well known with my doctors and always receives glowing reviews when I mention him as my pharmacist. He is also one of the few noted compound chemist experts in the area. Since Marc and his team opened on Las Olas - I have been a customer. It is not quite often you find a business, especially one in this industry to have that personal small-town charm. Through my ups and downs, they have ALWAYS been kind and accommodating to my needs and I will always be thankful. Las Olas Chemist is the greatest pharmacy I've ever been to. If you hate dealing with the large corporate pharmacies that are staffed with call center employees who care only about getting your call over with as soon as possible, this is the place for you. Mark and his team actually remember you. They refill prescriptions automatically without hassle. If there are any insurance issues, Mark understands and wants to help if he can. The pharmacy is part of a "co-op" of small pharmacies so their prices are similar (mine is actually cheaper than at the big corporate chain, but that's just one example). Timing? They always have it ready - I've never waited. Not once. I hope you'll try Las Olas Chemist because I don't want to see these small, customer-focused businesses disappear. read more

Simply the best! I was having a hard time getting the "usual suspects" to fill my son's acne medication. Nobody works give me a straight answer on when it was available, whether it was available. Then I remembered Las Olas Chemist. I'd been there in the past and their customer service was stellar! I called and explained the long sordid details of trying to get the meds and Mark took care of it! I had been waiting 5 days for this prescription at the other pharmacies and Mark got it the very next day! Amazing customer service and kept advising me of the status. I HIGHLY recommend.
