After decades of dealing with the big corporate drugstores, CVS AND WALGREENS, I have never been so happy to be in the Garden Drugs "family." Beyond the ease of having prescriptions filled or refilled, their kindness is beyond compare. After 25+ years of my "Superman" dealing with stage 4 colon cancer and trying to get his much needed meds there was only constant frustration to obtain his needed medications. He has since passed and I continued dealing with them for myself. The staff at store # have been one like family and they always tried their best to work within the corporate system but the system is broken. The staff there are truly lovely, the problem isn't them. It was the ridiculous way the company dealt with valid prescriptions. I was recommended Garden Drugs by one of my doctors and I still can't believe what a pure pleasure my dealings are. It is personal, kind, understanding all while remaining professional. This is a letter of recommendation to anyone who has had to jump through all the stumbling blocks that the "big stores" have in place. Please if you are still using Walgreens or CVS do yourself a huge favor. Have your physician switch all your scripts to Garden. within months of transferring to Garden one of the biggest frustrations of my life has been eliminated. No more constant time on hold, no more insurance issues or long wait times just to get my scripts filled. the lovely staff at Garden actually call when the meds are ready for pickup, unheard of at Walgreens. I didn't mean to write such a rambling, long review but if I can make anyone's life easier it was worth it. Give them a chance. I have been fill my prescriptions at Garden Drugs for nearly a decade, and I would never go to another pharmacy. The staff greets me by name, answers all of my questions, recommends products for various elements or wounds, and the cherry on the cake is the old-fashioned diner where you can get typical diner food that is better than any diner in town. I cannot express how much I love Garden Drugs, Aneesh, Michelle and their staff. I am so glad that I found this locally owned business (I would much rather support a local business owned by my neighbors than give ANY of my business to a large corporation that does not need my business.) who treats me like a human being and where it's a pleasure to shop for my Pharmacy needs as well as a fantastic patty melt, meatloaf and country, gravy and biscuits, all under $10! This drugstore reminds you of what it might've been back in the 50s with your personal pharmacist and even has a lunch counter. They have a very friendly staff and they always have medicine available that might be out of stock in the larger box pharmacy stores. Do not buy your ED Injections here. I paid $190 for a bottle so small its quite unbelievable. If I get 3 injections out of it that will be a miracle. I have included a picture on the bottle from garden drug compared to a picture of my last prescription at a different pharmacy. The difference is incredible. I don't know if this pharmacist is just plain stupid or crooked. I have been buying this drub for years and never received such a small bottle. At $190 it might be $63 per injection. read more

Lorena, was the first staff member that I met, & she took excellent care of me & she was so friendly, & helpful to what my needs were... I've never had any bad experiences at the pharmacy... all the pharmacist & staff treat me with respect & if there is something I need.. & if it isn't in stock the staff will order from their supplier & it's always ready for pick up the next day!!! The Staff at Garden Drugs are always friendly helpful & kind... I'm very fortunate that I have this pharmacy as my "go to" pharmacy... when I moved here 4 years ago I was using a big box pharmacy... they treated me as "a number, a face in the crowd"... This is a small pharmacy with a diner in it. I like the small mom n' pop feel to this store far better than any of their larger competitors. The pharmacists have been very knowledgeable and courteous plus have never made any mistakes (that I noticed). I like the decorations they have for sale and the selection of wellness products. Garden Drugs is a family owned, family operated independent Drug Store, and like pharmacies were before the days of the big Walgreens and CVS chains, super friendly and seemingly staffed by people who actually care. I've been here a couple of times and both times while walking the aisles looking for an item, someone came over, greeted me politely and helped me out. Then, when checking out, thanked me for shopping with them. Those are some things I've rarely had happen in any of the big overly clutter with stuff chain drug stores. I am chronically ill and the entire staff has always made me feel like I'm NOT. Lucy, Loraina, and the owners Anniseh and Michelle are the most caring, knowledge, and helpful, and dedicated people I could ever ask. They will order medications that are speciality medications (which may take more time only bc they Specialty medications or compounded) Most mainstream pharmacy's don't know what means =) They help with doctors especially when prescriptions are misspelled etc ( They will do 150% of their part to help you get your medications) They are the only pharmacy that actually cares about their patients and I mean that . Walking into that Pharmacy makes me feel what I wish things were like outside of it .It actually makes me happy going to the pharmacy Anyone who that has negativity about this pharmacy is dubious in my book. *****Price Gouging Complaint Amid Coronavirus Pandemic******* Here's one for the record.... At one time, I agreed with all the wonderful reviews for this pharmacy... Prosecutors across the country are investigating exorbitant prices on hand sanitizers, disinfectant wipes and masks. Please do not buy any item from them unless you are 100% sure that they will refund the particular item. After spending close to $500.00 dollars in masks and hand sanitizers for workers, I unfortunately was told to go get a box of masks for a contractor coming on site. As it turned out the contractors had masks and sanitizers. I returned to the store with the masks (never opened) and my receipt and was told that they could not refund me the money because of COVID-19. If they are so afraid of this then why don't they take everyone's temperature going into the pharmacy...I have witnessed several times people coughing and hacking all over the front of the pharmacy and entering the store. I never had a complaint with them...now I do. I will be adding you names and pharmacy to the list for price gouging. Being a small local pharmacy, people would rather give you the business than to go to the local CVS or Walgreens. That will no longer be the case for anyone that I could or recommend to your pharmacy. I am an employee of the company I work with. Now, I am out personally $44.00. I am reluctant to give this pharmacy even one star. The first problem is the lady pharmacist that works there that is the wife of the main pharmacist and I forgot his name unfortunately. She blatently lies and says any controlled substance they do not stock and that is a complete lie because the main pharmacist will fill just about anything. I do not tolerate lying in customer service. Secondly, I got into an arguement with the main pharmacist when he snapped at me and I am probably the most respectful, polite guy on the planet and I don't tolerate that either. Thirdly, they judge you horribly and it was always very uncomfortable filling my scripts there. Horrible pharmacy and just bad human beings that work there, ughhhhhhhh. read more

This place is truly the best! Every time I visit, they are fully stocked in all the difficult-to-find disinfecting supplies, masks, and immune system supplements. The staff is genuinely conscientious in keeping the store clean, hygienic, and even helping customers learn the correct way to wear different kinds of masks. I've never encountered a bad attitude or anything less than stellar employees. I've seen them go above and beyond more than once while shopping there, such as volunteering to locate a large box to neatly place my heavy purchases in to make it easier to carry it out to the car. This is a great neighborhood pharmacy. It has been around forever and it still has that old time charm where the employees and pharmacist know you by name and really do care. Wonderful pharmacy and staff!!! They are always so helpful and go out of their way to make sure you're 100% satisfied. Like the other review mentioned, it's really unique to find a business that remembers and greets you by name every time; it says so much about their level of customer appreciation. Also, I always wait for my prescriptions and have never had to wait more than ten minutes. They are super fast! Great medical supplies and vitamin selection, too. The cafe restaurant connected to the pharmacy has been around for years and is fantastic for a quick home-style breakfast or lunch. First and last time I'll ever darken the door of Garden Drugs. Today I was completely disrespected with lies and condescension just for trying to fill a prescription for cancer pain, even after getting two different prescriptions from my doctor. The pharmacy tech basically profiled me with no information about my prescription history after refusing to even check. They bare little to no social responsibility amidst an opioid epidemic by refusing to consider both sides of the argument, I was shocked. Whoever that pharmacy tech was should be fired, and the pharmacy should be shuttered. read more

If you are looking for a local RX this is the place. Aneesh and his whole staff are very knowledgeable and provide time to understand your concerns. Empathy to all patients has been my experience. We found this family Pharmacy soon after moving home to Fort Lauderdale in 2013 through a Family Physician. They are not driven by a corporate mandates that totally miss the value of true customer care. So when you are tired of waiting in those seats at other pharmacies to pick up meds and are directed to your physician with any questions, find this little GEM ASAP... You will not regret. And, they have a wonderful little home style restaurant attached to it for great food and service. My regular pharmacy, CVS, was out of my medication and offered no suggestions as when it would arrive. This happened twice which is a bit scary when you require a medication and have to drive all over town searching. I called several other CVS pharmacies without success. My doctor recommended Garden Drug.. what a relief, they always have it in stock and were SO helpful and courteous. This is why a small town drugstore is the best, they really offer exceptional service and individual care that cant be replicated by a chain pharmacy that stays open 24 hrs a day! If you need more personalized care thus is the one!! Garden drugs is hands on drugstore. They take the time to go through your list of medications. Many drug stores have an opinion before they ever see you.when a bad day if you walk in looking like you've been through a war they don't judge you and automatically think that your abusing medications. I seen a doctor at the ER last week you unfortunately got the wrong idea. If she had did her job properly. She would have seen that I wasn't trying to seek anything freak accident happened. And there wasn't as much as there wasn't as much medication you should have been in my urine. But community because of all this I ended up getting electrocuted from a socket which was accidental I'm highly strung out at panic disorder. Depression and anxiety the last thing I need is more problems because a third-year resident didn't take the time to do her job properly because I want to her in November when there is changing my medications. Now I'm under investigation I believe. I've always take my medication as prescribed I've always done my very best. If they pulled my past records they will see that. They don't play games there. He gets to know each individual recovery. And probably knows most of us better than we know ourselves. He's an awesome pharmacist and so is the rest of the staff there.this pharmacy actually cares about each individual when you have multiple multiple health issues as well as been in for car wrecks. Along with peripheral nerve damage type 1 diabetes he severally immune diseases. I was still have any questions I can always go to them. I have been blessed by this drugstore. read more
