You cannot call them. You have to actually go inside to speak to anyone that works there. The actual pharmacist are really nice but the other staff that rings you up etc. awful. They are rude, they don't smile, they are not friendly..... I don't get it to be honest. They definitely don't give a shit about you, at all. I hate that I'm restricted to filling at CVS. I am beyond disappointed with the Fountain Hills CVS pharmacy. I showed up at 5:02 PM just two minutes after closing and explained that my 3-year-old son is a Type 1 diabetic and was completely out of insulin syringes, something he needs to stay alive. The shades weren't even down yet, but the staff member coldly told me, "There's nothing I can do about it." We're talking about a life-saving medical supply for a toddler, not a convenience item. To be met with zero compassion or effort in that situation is absolutely unacceptable. CVS should be ashamed. read more

I've read a lot of bad reviews for this pharmacy, but I had a good experience. I was trying to to fill a prescription with our local Fry's pharmacy for a month, and they wouldn't research why my refill was being denied. I did not have time to figure out they were trying to fill 3 months and my insurance would not allow. When I finally went in to complain, they read all the notes and it dawned on them they could try to fill one month. So they said they would fill it the next morning. So I was so desperate to get it I took off a half day from work to get it, and then it was back ordered. I stopped in at CVS, and they got the RX transferred and filled in in 12 hours. Horrible pharmacy staff! Male Pharmacist is consistently rude for no reason - he must really loathe his profession?! Typical conversation with him is him interrupting me repeatedly and being dismissive/abrupt in his condescending, smug way with me. Never again will I use this pharmacy because of him alone. I don't need his arrogant attitude and lecturing approach. Plus, he comes across totally lazy and therefore does not give a shit about his customers/patients. Horrid little man. This is the worst Pharmacy I have ever dealt with. I was waiting for a prescription for my son with a nasty illness. The first time they said they couldn't fill it that day. Then the next day they said they didn't have time to fill it but waited an hour and it would be ready. After an hour and a half, I drove back and they said "Oh sorry but come back in an hour and it will be ready" Well after the Hour I came back and got the same story, Not ready but give us another hour....I asked why they give times when they don't know when it will be filled. He told me "Oh well' with no apology. I will never, never, use this garbage pharmacy. If I could give them one-tenth of a star that would be too much. I now see why CVS at this location only has 2 stars. They are rude and obnoxious! I was in line to pick up my prescription and of course they lied again saying my provider didn't submit it. I called my provider while I was in line and they acknowledged again they left many messages for CVS to refill my prescription. While I was there a rude sour puss told me it's 1:30 and they're closing for lunch. I was shocked and appalled by their rudeness as I was already in line being serviced. They closed their drive through window while I was still in line talking to my dentist and them and acted as if I didn't exist. It felt like a very racist act! I'll be switching to a store who provides good customer service to all people unlike this location. Racism is still very real! Unbelievable. Was in the pharmacy drive-through before they closed but because they took 25 minutes to help the customer ahead of me they close the window when I pulled up. No acknowledgment or anything. It would've taken them probably less than 30 seconds to help me. I think that is beyond unacceptable. This is the worst most disgusting place to go. I've never met a friendly employee and the fat grey haired guy gives you a huge lecture if you want to purchase a Covid test. He kept saying that only people that have been exposed to Covid buy tests, so we must have been exposed also. It's like he never heard of somebody replacing an old expired test in your home cabinet. Also He oddly had to update us on his health problems as well. If Yelp! allowed a zero star rating that's what I would give this place. I am sitting in their drive-through prescription pick-up window right now with 3 cars behind me (!) and I sat here for 10 minutes before anyone came to the window. The pharmacy at this location is constantly understaffed and I have found that most of the associates have an attitude. There is enough traffic through their drive-thru to warrant a dedicated associate! Here's an even worse recent example: after oral surgery I needed to have an antibiotic and pain killer script filled. I dropped off the scripts at 4:30 and asked if I could wait. The head Pharmacist was all twitipated about my request and in a very flustered tone said he couldn't guarantee filling my scripts before the pharmacy closed at 7pm!! He complained about not having any staff and told me to go to the CVS in Target!! (I did and the gal there was a real gem and filled my scripts in 20 minutes while I waited.) I put the blame for resources on store management. Don't be so cheap!!! Go hire some people and stop making excuses. The community is counting on you for God's sake! read more

Was visiting Fountain Hills for a month and needed a CVS refill. Went into the store and spoke to an employee in the pharmacy, ordered three refills which were supposed to be ready the next day. My wife went in three days later and only one of the Rx's was filled. She got no explanation as to the other two. I went in today, one week later and they have "no record" of the refill request. After much checking they told me that they had been refilled in NM where I live. I said, "but I'm here, that's why I asked you to refill them here last week". Sorry, you can come back this afternoon and we'll have them. That will be my forth 16 mile round trip to get these filled. I spoke with the manager and asked her if they could deliver them to me. "No" was her response. This store is lame. read more

Terrible. We went to the trusted pharmacy for a molecular COVID test for travel to return hone to Canada 48 hours prior our flight. We received our results less than 48 hours later only to read our test was inclusive due to an expired tube and we need to reschedule our testing - only problem is cannot be scheduled before our flight. I called the customer service line to ask if they could do a rush appointment because our flight is in 9 hours and the test was their negligence- and she told me sorry, no. Ended up booking Saguaro Bloom for $300 rush test, but at least they are reliable. Out children used them twice for $150 a test, but they received their results and made their flights. i presumed CVS Pharmacy was a reliable source read more

I'm not giving pharmacy 1 star, I'm giving it to CVS for using minute clinic. I received a covid test where I had to make appointment and pay in advance. My insurance covered it but to get refund from minute clinc has been 2 days shy of 2 MONTHS and still no refund. I've contacted minute clinc several times as they blamed my insurance.....not so! My insurance changed, unfortunately cvs is our in network pharmacy. This place never gets any better. Today I waited 40 mins in the drive thru (2 cars in front) only to find out the medication they promised to have ready for 11 this morning was not ready (I arrived at 3 to pick up). The female desk attendant walked away when I told her it should have been ready, another 10-15 mins go by of sitting there - no one tells me what's going on- and then an overweight male desk attendant gives me my prescriptions. As I am telling him 40 mins in the drive thru is unacceptable and I won't be back he said over me, very sarcastically and mocking "oh well!!! So sorry!!!" Really ?? How about sorry for the wait? sorry we didn't have your rx ready for pick up? Besides- it was that clown I spoke to initially and he said it would be ready at 11! CVS Fountain Hills on Pallisades: I have been coming to this CVS for almost 5 yrs and have never had a single issue with either the pharmacy or the store staff. That is, until they decided to hire a very biased and extremely unprofessional pharmacy tech Mathew from what I gather was from Walgreens. 3 times he refused to fill my medication (2 different medications) which I have been getting monthly for the past 4 years from the same doctor and the same dosage (and no its not a narcotic) I have already filed a complaint with CVS as well as his own staff and co-workers have to constantly apologize for his attitude and actions and state this is a normal copmlaint. I informed my doctor and to our disbelief, he had already filed an official complaint with the state Pharmacy Board for the same tech. I will file yet a 2nd complaint and another formal complaint with the board. I thought CVS "Cares" apparently not as this time when he looked at my prescription he laughed and said he wasn't filling it. After I asked for the reason he said he needed to call my doctor. I said this was the same script ive been getting for 4 years he said he doesnt care he's not filling it. How many people does he have to make uncomfortable and refuse before CVS steps up and reprimands him. Will it take someone dying or suffering a complication and they face a lawsuit? read more
