If I was not bound to Atnea and their agreement with CVS I would be back at the old Krogers in a heart beat. They know you by name and seem to care. It's been along time since I've been to the CVS at Fry Road and 1463 in Cross Creek Ranch. This is mostly because my health insurance was with Blue Cross/Blue Shield. CVS and Blue Cross:Blue Shield no longer do business together. Even though their customer service has always been pretty bad (and a frequent topic of discussion in the cross creek ladies group), I occasionally utilized this pharmacy out of convenience. This was 5 years ago and it wasn't as built up out here as it is now. Not many options. Fast forward five years and a new job with a different health insurance provider. I decided I'd go there for my Covid booster shot. Has there been any improvement in their customer service? Absolutely not! In fact, they actually upped their game! There was a mixup in the appointment I made and it was actually for the following Friday. But before that was even determined, the female pharmacist was very condescending and rude. No, I'm not a senior citizen but I AM immune compromised. My doctor did labwork to verify my antibodies were low before instructing me to get the vaccine. However, this pharmacist clearly didn't believe me. She of all people should know there are a lot of people that are sick and NOT elderly. When she figured out my appointment wasn't for today, she closed the protective partition and walked away. No sorry about the mixup or can you come back another day, have a good night...nothing. Not even a thank you or a goodbye...NADA. She literally put my vaccination card on the counter, closed the partition and walked away. Hmmm, Iguess we are done! Future appointment canceled. She was very unprofessional and re-confirmed why they have such an awful reputation and I won't be back. read more

This is the worst CVS I've ever been to I would not recommend going here you stand in line for 10 minutes before you can pick up your prescription you might be the only person in line and then they're put out that they have to help you very rude thinking of transferring all of my prescriptions to H-E-B. Bear in mind I was not dropping off and filling at the same time my prescription have been ready for two days and I told him I would pick him up a certain day so had wait 10 minutes. Like almost every single CVS in the country this place absolutely sucks. They're advertising for people to get it done there so I thought as I was in the picking up a few bits and pieces I might as well get the shot. 40 mins later I am regretting it. There are three people working behind the pharmacy counter running around filling prescriptions and answering the phone / drive through. There was only a few people physically in the store waiting at the pharmacy to be served. After 25 mins I almost walked out as I was told to wait by the drop off area for the shot, then was totally ignored for another 5 mins. I told them if they didn't want to give the the shot I'll just leave. The people behind the counter told me they were all new there and short staffed. They told me years ago that they were short staffed at this location yet it still carries on. Save your frustration by going to the pharmacy at HEB up the road or perhaps try the new Walgreens. Is there a negative 5 star option????? Dr called in RX for our son and when I went to pick it up 48 hours later they said it wasn't available but they could have it the next day. I went back the following day only to learn it would be another two days. A phone call informing me of the issue would have been most appropriate, but that never happened. I called H-E-B to have the RX transferred and had it within 15 minutes. A few days later, we gave them another try. I called ahead of time to ensure the RX was ready. It was. Made my way through the horrible drive thru experience only to find that they only filled half and I would have to wait while the pharmacist redid the RX. OMGeeeeee. 110% DO NOT RECOMMEND read more

I want to be kind so I am going to put my feedback this way....this site has a lot of room for improvement. If I might suggest, classes for the staff on customer service is a top priority! My husband had a joint replacement surgery today. His surgeon called out the prescriptions he will need post-op 2 days ago. 2 of the 3 were finally filled last night only after our persistent prodding. They didn't fill the pain medicine and made no mention of it having been called in at all. So now I'm here at the surgical center, asked the doctor about the pain meds, he said he called it in 2 days ago. I then call CVS, talked with the new manager who informs me that yes they received the prescription but didn't fill it because insurance would only cover a 7 day supply. He wanted to know if I wanted him to run the discount card to see if we could get the full 2 week supply. Of course. Less than 2 minutes later he tells me they can fill the 2 week supply and my cost is $20. Why couldn't someone have done that last night while we were there? Now I have to stop on the way home after my husband is discharged and pray they are still open or I will have a patient with a fresh joint replacement and no pain medication. Even if they are still open, I shouldn't have to stop to pick it up when I have a groggy patient in the car. Who knows how he will feel on the way home. This is the WORST AND UNPROFESSIONAL pharmacy ever!!! In the past, I've waited DAYS for prescriptions to be filled and there is zero sense of urgency. The most recent situation with them to push me over the edge... last month I went to pick up a maintenance drug. These drugs MUST be filled in 3 month supply for insurance to properly cover the cost. They gave me a single month supply and will not give me the additional 2 months supply until they can speak with the pharmacist who's out of the office until Tuesday. After spending 10 minutes defending my doctor and I's decision when the pharmacist didn't want to give it to me, she finally looked me up and realized it was needed. This is another poor review to add to their growing number of poor reviews. The automated system informed us our son's medication (which he needs daily), was ready for pickup. Knowing how the pharmacy manager runs her shop so poorly, we waited 2 days to pick up. Because a few times we went the day after the reminder, and the medication wasn't ready. (So why is it even on the automated system??? Who the F*** knows!). My husband waited in a long line, only to be told that, again, it wasn't ready. The pharmacist was very rude, spoke down to my husband, and told him to come back in 2 hours. How does she still have this job? This has happened multiple times now. We complained to CVS and the store manager. No one cares that she is rude to her customers or that she runs the pharmacy poorly. I am speechless. Unfortunately, we will have to go farther afield to get our meds. We are a family of 5 and each person is on at least 1 daily medication. Our house has three girls who also purchase all of our feminine and beauty products here because of the convenience when we pick up our prescriptions. But, I guess CVS doesn't care. The pharmacy is very inefficient due to long and slow drive through lines. Sometimes they allow cars to sit at the window and wait for a prescription to be filled as opposed to sending them to the end of the line when it isn't ready. Yesterday I was told after waiting in the drive through that if I wanted my prescription in 30 minutes I had to park, walk inside, and hand them the prescription they were already holding. Why would handing it to the same person across a counter make any difference from handing it to the same person through the window?! read more

This pharmacy doesn't seem to care about their customers. They are understaffed and completely unorganized! Staff is slow in all areas of customer service. It took two full days and two calls from the doctor to get the prescriptions correct. Then they withheld one because insurance didn't cover. That's not their decision!!!! I waited in line for two hours to get my prescription and they closed the window and said they were closed. So I waited for two hours for nothing. Last time I came here I had to wait about the same time and then they told me that I had to wait because it wasn't ready even though I got a text saying it was ready. I would give 0 STARS if possible. This pharmacy is unbelievable. During this coronavirus pandemic, I risked going outside to get a refill of my medication. I paid for the medicine and got home only to discover the medicine they gave me has already EXPIRED. I PICKED UP THE MEDICATION ON 3/28, BUT THE MEDICATION EXPIRED ON 1/31. I called the pharmacy and the pharmacist was COMPLETELY UNAPOLOGETIC and said I had to come back if I wanted the correct unexpired medicine. I asked if I could get the medication shipped to me, and the manager, Mary, told me that wasn't an option. I said I wanted a refund and will hold off on the refill then. The pharmacist got angry at me and accused me of not wanting to pay for the medicine. I'M NOT GOING TO PAY FOR EXPIRED MEDICINE. Not only did they WASTE MY TIME, CAUSE ME TO RISK EXPOSURE, but have HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. This is not the first time, they've shown a lack of customer service. I once came 2 HOURS BEFORE CLOSING hoping to fill a prescription, and they told me there was no way for them to fulfill the order in the next 2 hours since and told me to go else. 2 HOURS WASN'T ENOUGH TIME TO FULFILL AN ORDER.
