Nice staff. And there seemed to be an Officer Friendly stationed inside this one... an actual police officer... He was actually friendly. Made me a little wary as to WHY he was here, but I'll just suspect it was because the cashier was reaaaaaally cute, and not because the place was otherwise unsafe. Clean, bright, spacious... Everything you hope for in a CVS. If you need an extra large container of tic-tacs, they got 'em. Strangely, I didn't notice that it was extra large until I tried to put it in my cup holder and noticed it barely fit. Joy! People at the pharmacy are rude and so impatient. My mom can't speak english very well and she tried asking how many prescriptions she was picking up and one of the dark skinned lady's working there said "are you not listening i just told you" like there was no need for her to be disrespectful when clearly there was a language barrier. She said other rude stuff too they need professional workers there. read more

One more time, I went into your store on Montgomery Ave. in Gaithersburg MD and once more I was sent away without getting what the doctor sent me in for. I hadn't been in the store for over 6 months because of the frustration that comes with this store. On Thursday, 2/9/2017, my doctor told me to go into the CVS, it was listed as my pharmacy, to get a vaccine for Shingles. She explained that she had already sent in the required paperwork. I went in today and guess what? Your pharmacy didn't have it or know anything about it. They asked me if they could call my doctor on Monday and have me come back one more time to get the vaccine. I refused, as I will never again go to that or any CVS store. I can't continue to waste my time by going two time for every visit. Every time I go it is at least a two-time trip. On my way home I stopped at Rite Aid to get their address and telephone number so that I could give it to my doctor and they would have it on file if I ever needed something. Well guess what? While speaking to the pharmacists, he explained that you don't need a prescription for the shingles shot that the doctor prescribed for me. He could give it to me there and then. He did. I really like the pharmacists here; they treat you like they have time for you, which is refreshing. There was a mistake a few months ago on one of my daughter's prescriptions - nothing major but it made it so she wouldn't have enough to finish the whole course. When I realized a week later, I brought it in and explained what was wrong. The pharmacist fixed the problem right away without me having to jump through a bunch of hoops. I dropped off 9 prescriptions today (when every member of your family gets sick with the same thing, the pharmacy trip can be a little intense) and they didn't bat an eye. They were out of the medicine since it's not very common, but she told me exactly when it would be ready for pickup tomorrow. She also looked up to make sure it was covered by insurance and also found out the cost so there wouldn't be any unpleasant surprises. I don't do much shopping in cvs stores so I can't speak to that part of this cvs, but they have always been friendly when I walk in. I prefer cvs to the Safeway pharmacy across the street. Maybe it's the high divider and glass barrier at Safeway that makes the pharmacists seem unavailable, but the service at cvs is just better! read more

Still horrible. I've been trying to get through to the pharmacy for over 30 minutes and no one answers

I called the pharmacy asking if they have the ingredients for a prescription my doctor wrote. He was silent so I told him the list of only three ingredients. I already visited one pharmacy, was hung up by another, and told no by two others so I didn't want to run around town for an hour to see what pharmacy had items in stock today. The gentleman who answered the phone here said he can't tell me, I have to bring in the prescription. I told him two places I called already didn't have everything on hand and I didn't want to drive around town. He repeated himself that I have to bring in the prescription. It's for my three year old who has been in pain. A little help would have been greatly appreciated. Poor service. read more

Amazing service. Needed special overnight diapers in a hurry. Chris answered the phone when my wife called. He found the product, and let us know about price. When I arrived he heard me asking the cashier about diapers, came to get me and took me to the diapers in question. In the end, because Chris had found diapers that were close to what we were looking for but not exact (he thought he had the right ones, we needed Overnights and he had Goodnights), and equally because I was careless after being wowed by his service and attention, I left with the wrong diapers. However, I went back and Chris was very apologetic. We found an alternative that may work. We shall see. The fact remains that this kind of customer service, is a disappearing phenomenon. Even though CVS is a chain, Chris makes this place feel like the old school five and dime store on the corner. Where the clerk knows you, knows his product, and takes care in making sure you have an excellent experience. Thanks Chris! We will be back more frequently thanks to your work. read more

I've requested prescriptions to be transferred to my new pharmacy multiple times they keep giving me different excuses and they fill them instead which I didn't request. Not pleased with them at all read more

The pharmacy at this CVS is far and away the best in Gaithersburg. The pharmacists are very knowledgeable and quick to fill perscriptions when I am waiting for them. This was a nice surprise after having been using the CVS at Gaithersburg Square, which is totally crazy/slow and understaffed. I will use this CVS for all of my perscriptions now. read more

The staffs are friendly, but it took too long to get my answer. When I came to pick up prescription for my mom, the cashier could not find it, and he passed me to the technician who could not find my mom as well. So I went to 2nd technician, and finally she told me my mom prescription is not filled due to prior authorization.... I was waiting for more than 30 minutes (my lunch time) for nothing except 2 forms taking home for my mom signature. I hate to give bad review, but this is my experience. read more

Not the best CVS but the pharmacy staff are courteous and helpful. Some of the store clerks need better customer service training

The location is great but their staff SUCKS! They are always SO SLOW. They also allow for small things like eating a pretzel or slowly sipping water while they have a HUGE line or chatting about what they will do this coming weekend. Also, how does the prescriber of an allergy medication (nose spray) end up being my gyno doctor? Leave it up to CVS! HORRIBLE! No wonder they're not responding to refill it....DUH! A bunch of monkeys would do a better job! This location needs some major mystery shopping done and the whole crew needs to get canned and replaced with people who want to work and are willing to pick up the pace a bit....we don't have all day to stand in a line because you're chatting or eating pretzels. read more
