This is the worst CVS EVER! When I went to the pharmacy section to ask one of their consultants for advice, they literally did not help at all. First, there were about five of them standing around doing absolutely nothing or acting like they were working. Finally, after about ten minutes of waiting, they stroll over to the counter and answer my question. Not only did she give me attitude but she was not helpful at all. Worse CVS in the world! The pharmacy workers are rude and unwilling to help but it gets worse... the pharmacist at this location is 10x worse than her own workers. I get a lot of medications here and they are so much better than they used to be. The pharmacists and pharmacy technicians always know me by name and I can always get my meds quickly. I love the ready fill, which automatically refills my prescriptions based on the quantity of meds I have left, so all I have to do is pick it up. They have been very good with giving me some extras if I totally run out until the prescription is refilled or authorized by my insurance. I also get coupons with my CVS rewards card, but I rarely buy anything else from there. read more

About 3 weeks ago I had to use the restroom while browsing in CVS haven't been to this location in years. The store was so organized and beautiful. I approached the women's restroom and to my surprise I was in a pharamcy closet. Pharmacist coats hanging, bandaids, latex gloves , vaccum out cord wrapped hanging sloppy, duck tap on door and in door jam, no toilet paper and the only thing clean in the bathroom was the sink. I went to seek assistance for toilet paper and a Pharmacist cut me off and I advised her there was no toilet paper her responce your own ur own. I was taken back by the comment. I went up front and somone helped me and brought me toilet paper. My advice is clean up the bathroom!! read more

Worst CVS on the face of the earth. No help - ever, unknowledgeable staff who always reply " I don't know" instead of finding out, and coupon machine is a nightmare that never works! Was a long time customer of CVS but the poor customer service and high prices aren't worth the convenience anymore. So I had stopped by Rite-Aid by my house and picked up a few things for my hair, but since we were in such a rush to leave, I forgot 'em at home. It was almost 12:30a and we were heading out to the clubs in Hollywood, so we stopped by here so I can get something and do my hair. After paying, I asked if there were any mirrors I could use to do my hair and the nice lady at the register pointed me in the right direction. I asked a few employees if they had any paper towels so I could clean my hands, but nobody could find any.....no big deal. I did my hair, wiped my hands clean on the carpet, and was ready to go. I guess CVS is like the Rite-Aid or Longs Drugs of SoCal.....I've never seen any up here though. read more

Went in here on a Sunday. Came in and there was only one register open and a long line waiting to check out (the self checkout seemed to not be working). Saw the line and figured out grab my things and browse until it gets short. I'm ready to checkout and there is no line so I go pay. My items didn't ring up as what was displayed so I asked the cashier why. She said it was the other product next to it. And I said ok I understand. As I'm going to pay, I see that on the screen, it says if it doesn't ring up correct, you can get your item free. I jokingly said this to the cashier since I already knew that I looked at the wrong sign. She turned a 360 change in attitude. She said "no why would you get it. I think we are having a miscommunication. You looked at the wrong sign." I answered "I'm sorry if I upset you, I was just joking. Just ring me up." She said "let me show you. I don't think you know what I'm talking about." I understood. I didn't like her attitude. She walked over to where the products were. I was over it. I just wanted to pay. There was a line forming (second associate took a while also to look and see that there was a line. When the cashier who was ringing me up left, that's when she called the next person in line over). I was annoyed. I left. Not very nice welcoming people. I had just gotten off of work. I work in retail as well. I don't treat my customers like that. read more

Worse cvs pharmacy ever! Terrible customer services. No communication to clients. I dropped off my prescription for 3 different meds for my migraine. They filled 2 prescriptions and the other one they dont have it. Pharmacist never told me that they have to order it. Then a week later i came to pick it up, they told me they have to contact my doctor an alternative. Ok! I have been waiting for almost 2 weeks and you pharmacy never let me know. So today i asked them to return my prescription. This is ridiculous! Also, they made me paid without billing my insurance. They told me i changed my insurance while in fact i have the same coverage for 5 years with the same company. Think twice before u coming here for your prescription filled. Visited your store #8862 where in the past my coworkers & myself have noticed that your employees spend alot of time chating with each other & not helping customers but 4/24 was the worst visit I have had. I used the self check out & for some reason to check out & pay it said I needed assit. I waited 5 mins for 1 of the two women chating at a register to come & help then walked out. I went to the pharmacy late at night to get allergy medicine since I was in the middle of a reaction. The pharmacist seemed overwhelmed which is understandable being the only one on staff but I could hear him cussing behind the counter. Extremely unprofessional. I got prescribed a certain amount tablets and he only gave 2 because he didn't see why I needed more. Idk when he became a doctor in those 30 mins and didn't think it was up to him to decide how much I should be getting when I was already given a prescription for allergies from my medical doctor. I complained to the pharmacist but even he is not kind either, always interrupting and wont let you finish your sentence. The day staff are better and answers questions with knowledge and patient. Worst customer service!!!! Had a coupon for $4 off of $15 Christmas lights and decor so I went overboard and bought about $30 worth of lights and a bunch of other stuff. Had some coupons on file for a couple more items which I never had issues with at any other CVS. She rung me up and told me she could only use one coupon, this is after I already put in my credit card for a $65 total charge. She told me it didn't applies so I asked why not? She told me she didn't know and called the manager, who isn't the sharpest tool on the shed asking me when I made this purchase, I'm like I am standing here with my cart full of merchandise, obviously just now. So he goes in attempt to give me a piece of paper that I can present next time for the $4 off. I said why couldn't your cashier just take that off to save us both the trouble I know how this system works and the cashier standing on the other register chimed in and said well the system changed a month ago even if u worked for cvs before. Mind you lady, It's not my first time at cvs, I know you can manually take it off for the customer as part of customer service. I left angry and as I pushed the cart back to return it, another customer walked out and said she's talking bad about you to other customers in there. I didn't even make a scene, I was very patient and reasonable with them. I could easily had her re-ring my entire purchase to take out that $4. Goodbye CVS, I will go to Walgreens from now on. I joined CVS about a year ago. They had a promotion if you came to their pharmacy from another pharmacy you get a gift card or something. Well the service was ok until today when I called in my RX and they said it was ready. I got to the store on Brookhurst near broadway and the pharmacy was closed. I was out of my meds. So I asked a very unfriendly cashier where was a CVS that was open. She gave me the most evil stare and said "try the one on brookhurst and chapmen it's 24hrs." Well I immediately ran out of this store as not to be in this evil whiches presence. I arrived at the 24-hr CVS at Brookhurst and Chapmen when to the back was not greeted at all. Some skinny chinese pharmacy tech asked me my name. I spoke my name, spelled it for her and she kept asking me what my name was. Keep in mind this bitch never took the time to actually approach me at the counter. I asked her for a pen and paper and I would write my name for her. AT this point I was pissed and just asked her to look up my RX so I can get out of here. She said oh the other store has already sent it to my insurance. I said that store pharmacy has been closed for an hour. I made the call less than an hour ago so they have not sent it anywhere. This idiots name was "betty" so if you go here please leave quickly and don't deal with Betty or any of these people. I am moving my pharmacy business to Target or anywhere else other than these crazy people. Save yourself the headache from poor customer service and non english speaking pharmacy techs. read more

I was looking for someone to check out my items and one of the employees just pointed towards the self-checkout rather than opening a register. The pharmacy staff, on the other hand, are very welcoming. They greet anyone in line and apologize for any delays. This store is alright and one of the great things about it is that it's 24 hours including the pharmacy. Of course it's really expensive I mean it is cvs. Sadly the customer service is hit and miss with these guys. At the pharmacy you either can get someone that is really nice and polite, or you can get someone that is rude and impatient. On this last visit I had a young man and when I approached the register I had to get my script for my refill I had ordered and he stated it wasn't done still and to "Move over!". Wow, excuse me, no please or an explanation why the script I had ordered to be filled six hours ago and on top of the rudeness he didn't even apologize at all. I waited and this wait became a two hour wait and this young man was giving me strange looks. When it was finally finished and after grabbing my script I left. When I got home, to my own horror I opened up the plastic bag my script was in and inside there was not only my script bottle but another person's script was in and it looked like a painkiller which this person needed I'm sure. Percocet which I know is for broken bones. After returning the script the same day I doubt I'll be going back there anytime soon. read more

Extremely poor customer service. I bought a product that suppose to provide a $4 coupon on the receipt, which I didn't get, so on the spot I return the product. Sure I wanted the product but was only convinced to buy it because of the added coupon. There's a supervisor there name Dustin, gave me an attitude for returning and even questioned my decision. Upper management is making poor decisions of who they are hiring. I would make every effort to avoid all CVS, and even consider changing banks from Chase to another one because of its affiliation. I had a bad experience i have a new born went in there on the 7th of March around 5:45am my brother inlaw went with me, so i went to the pharmacy the guy Todd was the only 1 there i asked him what was good for my nb cause he had constipation and right off the back he said great another welfare baby cought me off guard i was shocked that he spoke to me like that anyway i ignored it i let slide, i told him what i was suggested and he said no use the gas drops okay i got it and then he asked how many welfare babies do i have idk where that came from i was already mad i still answered and told him that i have 2 kids right before i was leaving he also said make sure i take the medicine back to the welfare office and let them know. I could have taken matters into my own hand's but i didnt i paid cash and left later that day i called to put in a complaint and spoke with manager and all she said was that she would speak with him but that she could not believe it cause he wouldn't do something like that i also called corporate office and till this day nothing has happened. I work day and night to take care of my family i have never been on any government help nor do i need it i am Mexican i am brown i am tatted up but that is no reason why to judge me or discriminate me i should have to deal with this kind of behavior. read more

"cuz your buying a beer" im like .. ok, then why not card me? ill gladly go to my vehicle to retrieve my ID even though im 46 and clearly over the age.. so i go get my ID and come back and he looks at it and punches numbers into the machine and hands off the transaction to a female coworker and i apologized to her for the inconvenience and she gave me a look like "i know, its okay" Oh im not done.. So i go in today to buy a beer.. and.. sure enough Tom is working a cashier station.. and he says.. "whats your birthdate?" im like. are we gonna go through this again? he didnt even remember the last time and just took my word for it and told me he will continue to ask me for my birthdate every time i come in.. the rest of the staff is frickin AWESOME!!.. Came in about a week ago because I needed to get a prescription. Michael, was so helpful. First, he offered to call my doctors office because I had called more than once to see if it had been sent in. I explained to him I was worried they wouldn't call it in before 5 o'clock when they closed. He offered to call my doctor for me to see if he could speed the process up and help me out. Unfortunately, my drs office had already transferred the call line to an after hours recording , but he told me if they sent it in he would give me a call back as soon as he got it. I know they were really busy during this time, yet he took the time to really help me out. My doctor ended up calling in my prescription about 30 minutes later. I received a call from my dr's office letting me know they called it in and I should be able to pick it up in an hour or so. NOT even 5 minutes later Michael called me to let me know my dr sent it in and he would have it ready for me in 15 minutes. His customer service is incredible, he kept his word and really went over and beyond to help me out. Thank you so much!! read more

I been going to this CVS for the last 2 years. I like the fact that it was nearby. But I have to say they been real busy lately, especially in the evening. So to save time I try to go through the self check out. Let me tell you something about the self check out; IT SUCKS! I thought I would be saving time by bypassing the lines, but the self check is so faulty, that it wouldn't even let you scan a freaking 5 hour energy drink without being carded!! So here I am waiting there for one of the store clerks to clear me to continue, and it took a good 10 minutes. Another customer beside me was trying to self scan too and also ran into a bump. So here I am standing there only to watch other customers come after and leave before me. Wow, if you're going to have a self check out scanner, make sure it works properly. Cause it's just a time consumer and waste. Of course, they are understaff which explains why you have to wait so long when you run into a snag with the self check out. read more

I will never go back to this Pharmacy after I get the rest of my prescription they owe me. For more than 2 years I use/get 2 bottles of Insulin and spend more than $300.00 a month in Cop-pays at this place. the computer does some funky thing and says because I am at the end of the prescription I only get 1 bottle and paid $40.00 to get it. Now I am an Insurance Agent so I know that this is wrong, and the pharmacy tech tells me to "make it last", I need to prove to her I really need 2 by having my Dr. send in a new RX which she does. now they tell me the one bottle is for 2 weeks and another $40 for the next bottle on April 18th. What a rip off and a way to make more money. I am reporting them to the insurance carrier as fraud. Since my Rite Aid closed they have forgotten to put the RX in the drive thru bag (it is in the fridge) and I have had to go back, they gave me someone elses RX, and now this I brought my previous prescription (the two empty boxes) and showed the pharmacy clerk and she Said the computer only allows one bottle. So I am at a loss at how to maintain my sugar level and afford their program, they know I am to receive 2 and that a Diabetic cannot" make it last", unless they use less and run with a high blood sugar. The manager is not available until tomorrow and I must make again another trip to get this resolved. read more
