Real problems with this CVS pharmacy. Many errors in prescriptions. I've gotten generic drugs when I shouldn't have. Many times they don't have my medication in stock and I have to wait several days. Or they'll tell me my medication will be ready a certain day and it's not, and I have to return later. There have been many times I've had to return a second or third time because of errors. They've gotten my prescription wrong. They've given me the wrong number of pills. My doctor will no longer speak to them because of the number of times he's had to call them to straighten out a prescription (last time it was 11 times, and he was given a different instruction each time). I don't know how much more of this I can take. I'm seriously considering going to a different pharmacy. I'd like to add that the cosmetic consultant Stacy is wonderful. She picked out the perfect makeup for me, advised me on moisturizers, wrinkle creams, etc. Always gives me great advice. Love her. read more

Their "customer service" here is HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. Don't expect any help if you happen to need any. There's one cashier/manager in particular who will make you check out yourself unless you are buying alcohol. Only reason being is that you can't buy alcohol at self checkout so she's forced to help you. She literally repeatedly said, "Everyone who's not buying alcohol go check out yourself at self check out." That's just really bad customer service. When you ask her a question she will keep it as short as possible and walk away as she's answering. You're going to have to ask someone else after you ask her. Four stars for the greeter that made my life easier once setting foot into the store. From the moment I entered, the lady in the front with a smile greeted me and asked if any help is needed. I didn't need help but she walked me straight to the cold medicine aisle and bid me adieu. Upon leaving the store she wished me to feel better and to have a great day. Felt pretty happy. My mother used to bring me here since I was a little girl to pick up prescriptions from the pharmacy...and my 20th high school reunion was in July! The point is that this is an amazing pharmacy and such wonderful pharmacists that work here! People like Jose and the rest of the staff go above and beyond every single time. And it's such a wonderful experience to come to a pharmacy where they know me, ask about my moms diabetes, make sure we are doing well. It's ridiculous how long you have to wait for them to fill a prescription. In almost every country it takes the pharmacist 1 minute to hand you a sealed box. I have always taken my prescriptions to this location for over 22 years but sorry its time to find me a new Pharmacy! I dropped off prescription and they told me it would take a hour so I went home and happened to fall asleep, went back after 2 hours and prescription was never processed because technician forgot about and left it in a basket. Second incident urgent care sent over prescription electronically to this location, CVS claims they never received it, I call back Urgent Care ask them to send it again, so I called CVS to confirm they received it , I was put on hold and 3 different people asked me for same information, finally after telling 3 different people the name on prescription , I was told it was ready read more

The pharmacy is better than the rest of the store. I've been getting my prescriptions here for years. The pharmacy staff is nice and they know me by name. Every time I go there they say hi as soon as they see me. The general store is another story. They have sales but they never have products in stock. They always run out. They don't re-stock the shelves. The prices are higher than what you'd find at a regular grocery store. I also had bad experience with the staff being so rude. One young guy started yelling at me because I was "doing it wrong" when I tried to use the self-checkout. It was my first time using it and I was still learning. I told him that but he still yelled at me like I'm a child. So I called CVS corporate office and reported him. I never saw that guy at the store again. read more

I've shopped here a couple times. It's definitely not the greatest CVS to shop at but they do have the things you need. The pharmacy staff were pretty cool. They'll try to assist you the best they can. They do a better job when they're not busy... One time my friend and I rolled by in the car. We needed oral syringes and buzzed in at the drive thru. Because it is there I occasionally stop in for a card or something like that when I don't want to go to a larger store. Well yesterday I needed a card so I just went there. This location really makes the people of Wal-Mart look pretty normal-ish. I park my car and attempt to go into the store. Right off the bat I am greeted by the homeless man sitting down on the ground in front of the building. He greets me I reply politely and head into the store. Ok whatever GG has a serious homeless problem that needs to be addressed. Anyway, I go in find a card and decide that I am not feeling like an a55hole today so I grab a sandwich and a bottle of water from the cooler. I go and check out my items and oops I spent more then I thought on B-day things; my card was overdrawn. I transfer funds and the cashier was very patient and helped the person behind me in line at an alternate register. She was great and I appreciated her efficiently. So then I am finishing up paying and the man who was in line behind me decides my soul needs to be saved and invites me to church services on Friday Night. Mind you he is about 80 so I politely tell him it sounds interesting and thank you - I wasn't going to push my atheism on him. so this goes on for close to 5 minutes he really wants to save my soul. So I escape CVS, only to do the christian thing and give the homeless man out front the sandwich and water. well this man decides that he wants hit on me. First he tells me if I ever need a body guard he wants the job then tells me how pretty I am blah blah blah; shut up and eat your sandwich. I am polite then get out of there. So this rating is not based on the employees or the items they sell, they had the card I needed and the sammich the homeless man needed. The clerk was good at her job previous trips I have found what I set out for things like iron pills and Nyquil all there all good. I came into this CVS around 10pm on a Sunday night. I just moved to the area and this was my first time here. I was greeted at the door and the associate kindly pointed me to the pharmacy. There was only one person ahead of me and my prescription was ready in less than 5 minutes. Both the pharmacist and pharmacy associate were very helpful and the pharmacist went over my new medication with me very thoroughly. They answered all my questions. To make it short it's always nice and clean here, typically well lit. Now for the long story... Today I went to this location with my mom so she could pick up her medication and we decided to do drive thru. Now the drive thru was kind of backed up so we figured we'd be as quick and succinct to help the queue move along. In doing so the guy at the window gave us our bag and was really quick. As we left the parking lot my mom exclaims oh no they forgot the refrigerated one! So we circle back in and go inside. We wait patiently for our turn and explain the situation. The guy rushes to the back and grabs it apologizes for the wait and told us to come to consultation instead next time so we wouldn't have to wait in line for the others ordering. I've been going here for as long as I can remember for my moms drugs, so I don't think I'll ever change, just cause they are friendly, kind, and prompt. read more

In a short time I grew fed up with this pharmacy, even though I did like some of the staff. My experience was delay after delay after delay as I quickly came to realize their mode of operations is to save time for the pharmacy at the expense of customers. There were also needless inefficiency delays that wasted the time of both the pharmacy and the customer. other delays that were needless also. One goal of dealing with a pharmacy is to get your prescription into the processing system. Nothing happens until you do that. If you elect to wait till they fill the prescription, it will probably take more than 20 minutes after you drop-off. However, several times my drop-off was needlessly delayed. For example, I often waited in line for the drop-off counter while a staff member conducted a lengthy consultation with a customer, sometimes taking ten minutes or more. Why? It's a drop-off counter and not a consultation counter. A drop-off should take just a few seconds. One time I was tired of waiting in line (during another lengthy consultation) and went to the drop-off counter and said: excuse me, I just need to drop off a prescription. I'll pick it up another day. The staff member berated me for being rude and I pointed out that it was a drop-off counter and was not for lengthy consultations. One time I went in late at night and there were two persons at the drop-off counter in a lengthy consultation with a staff member and I was the only other customer in the pharmacy. While I waited over 12 minutes, I was totally ignored by all of the several staff members. When I spoke up to other staff members (who had ignored me), they made out I was the bad guy. There were other problems. For example, an emergency clinic doctor phoned in a prescription for pain medication while I was there at the clinic, late at night. About 45 minutes later I presented at CVS who claimed to have no knowledge of the prescription and told me to call the doctor to follow up. When I said I witnessed the doctor calling-in the prescription, they still claimed they had received no such phone call, and also refused to call the clinic. After I was at home for 30 minutes, CVS called me and said my prescription was ready. Another time they dispensed to me a totally wrong drug before I told them about it. Also I noticed that they were not proactive in coordinating with my doctor's office; they wanted me to do it. * I have noticed that making the customer do the co-ordination work is a tactic used by many pharmacies. Over time I spoke about the numerous problems to the pharmacy manager, the CVS general store manager and CVS corporate customer service. At least twice to each. All of it was a total waste, and I sensed the CVS attitude of them being too busy to cater to customers. They are going to do things their way and refuse to adapt to input or complaints. BTW, my medication business is way more than most others. I have now taken my business to the small Walmart Pharmacy on Euclid and Katella where they give more personalized attention to their customers and I am happy with their service. I can't help but give this CVS pharmacy a one-star rating. read more

For what it is, they are fine. The low stars is for the layout of the store... flat out, it sucks. It is not very consumer friendly. You would think a major retail chain that usually has a department dedicated to store layouts would know what a mess this store is. They have isles that go every which way... its terrible. But ok, once you find your items and now need to check out... another horrible layout... WTF is THIS?? A counter with registers across it, and no layout for any sort of "line". I've gone to this pharmacy for the past ten plus years and have had amazing service until today when I gave the pharmacy a call to check on a refill. The pharmacy person who was helping is name Ruth or something like that clearly he didn't want to give me his name because he knew he messed up. I've clarified with him on the medication five times and he looked up the wrong medications and I even spelled the name of the medication out. I don't know what else I could have possibly do other then look it up for myself if they gave me access. He kept telling me I filed the medication months ago and was not ready for refill. I called and told him we did not have that supply nor do you have a bottom saying filled in May. He kept telling me I was wrong and kept looking up the wrong medication. After calling three times to clarify he has the right medication he said I can't refill it. I've spelled it out countless times and yet he was not listening. He did not say sorry for his error and started to sound rude as the call got longer when I pointed out he looked up the wrong medication when I spelled it out for him. If he had said sorry then to would be fine but the fact that he did not say sorry for his error is beyond upsetting. This is very upsetting and he needs to be retrained. I went to this pharmacy to fill a prescription, and the pharmacist, Henry, was extremely rude and condescending. I will never come here to have prescriptions filled, or conduct any business at this CVS, and I recommend that anyone who reads this does not, either. It seems like there are only two or three people working in the store (not including three or four people in the pharmacy). It is a hit and miss with cashiers. Horribly SLOW. Redeemed in my prescription (electronically submitted via Urgent Care) at 745pm through the drive thru, was told they were busy, to return in 30mins. Returned in 30, told they were really busy to give another 25-30 mins. Returned after another 30, this time in the store, still not ready. Waited in the store until 945PM, when i finally left. Figured they couldn't get their act together so I would return in the AM. As I pulled up to my house, the finally text that it was ready. So at 1005pm i finally had my prescription. David was trying to hold it down over there, I will admit to that and was very apologetic. But 2 hrs for an simple antibiotic is ridiculous! Although during my time wandering the store i was able to help a customer find the Folic Acid vitamin she wanted that the store employee told her to ask the pharmacist for it. Extremely rude and incompetent pharmacy technician (Tran is her name). Haven't had much luck from the other staff at the pharmacy either. They were supposed to call my doctor months ago when i last refilled my prescription since the medication i was on was discontinued plus all they had on hand was two month's worth instead of the usual 3. So i was told to pick up the two months and they will call the dr to get the name of the new medication; when i come in for my next refill they will add in the month they owe. sure that sounds doable right? well surprise surprise they never called my doctor. i told them that was supposed to be done months ago so that we would have the new meds dispensed. so again i was told they would call the next day. t he next day comes by and AGAIN they did not call! I spoke with someone at the pharmacy and basically she said the dr will think she's trying to make money from them (wth) or they won't answer their phone, and told me i should call. jesus, these folks at the pharmacy won't even do their jobs. so i called my dr's office ( who picked up right away btw) the receptionist informed me to switch from cvs bc they are lazy and always tell patients they will call their doctors but they never do. i just went in to get the refill and sure enough they still owe me that one month's worth. i explained to Tran ( the pharm tech) that i am supposed to get an extra pack of meds since last time they only gave me two instead of 3. her flat reply was " doctor only said 3 so i give you 3!, insurance won't pay for 4!". um yeah, my entire explanation went in one of her ears and out the other; like all she had was air between her ears. she refused to listen and was straight out rude. I could tell this wasn't going anywhere because it would be like arguing with a wall, a very incompetent and arrogant wall..with broken english. *they won't call you doctor for you even when they tell you they will ( this has happen more than once) * they won't dispense the appropriate amount of meds * Rude pharmacy technician (TRAN) with not an ounce of ability to listen to a patient or comprehend what's being said to her. i recommend yelpers go to a different pharmacy, that's what i will be doing. read more

I am going to avoid coming here at all costs and might make the extra drive to the Walgreens even if it is out of the way. I'm thinking about taking my saver card off my key chain cause I have no real reason to come back. In a nutshell, I am in a rush to get to my sister's wedding. When I show up, there is only one register open for about 6 customers. By the time the person in front of me is about to ring up, I put my stuff on the counter and then magically, 2 other staff show up and decide to open their registers, hm okay. But here's the kicker. I used my credit card to pay for my things and then it asks me to sign something. I sign the little monitor thing when it prompts me. Then I notice that nothing is happening so I let the cashier know that it has frozen. In an attitude-y voice, she says "you have to sign your name and press enter ::half rolls her eyes." I smile back politely thinking she didn't understand me and said that I already had done that. Then she proceeds to act that I'm inconveniencing HER when it is the computer's fault and to another degree, her fault for things not going right. What could have been an easily correctable thing ended up leaving a sour taste in my mouth. When she realized she was in the wrong, she had to cancel the electronic signature and printed something for me to sign. At the end of that, she just said have a nice day, but didn't apologize for the sass she gave me. All of that, and boom, you have another person vowing not to come back. read more

This place was so much better when it was run by SaveOn. As soon as CVS took it over it kind of went downhill. I still get calls from the pharmacy here to pick up meds... problem is I haven't had this pharmacy fill a prescription in over 2 years. I've talked to them about this and they just say they'll fix it. I tried to use a coupon for some vitamins I was purchasing and the cashier gave me some attitude about it because it didn't scan the first time. I pointed out that the item the coupon was for was in my purchases and asked her to try one more time...2nd time it scanned through. No apology, just kept ringing. I typically avoid this place now unless I need something now and it is after most everyone else has closed. read more
