Tastes like nothing B6 Signature Flan CheeseCake

Hubby stopped by Bake & Che yesterday and grabbed some desserts. Took him a while to come out. Service was a bit slow. He got me a cheese cake & flan dessert to try since I am a bit of a cheesecake enthusiast. This dessert was disappointing because it did not at all taste like cheesecake. Barely had any flavor at all. Did not finish it.

What a refreshing dessert spot! We ordered to-go, and they thoughtfully included a bag of ice on the side. We tried the C4 - Pandan Grass Jelly, and C2 - Thai Dessert. The pandan was on the lighter side, with a more subtle flavor. I enjoyed the Thai Dessert more, it had a great mix of different jellies, including jackfruit and longan, which added nice variety and texture. We also tried the Pandan Coconut and Coffee Coconut Jellies (J1 & J2), both were really good as well!

2025 and 2026 Spring Break stops for desserts. I recall buying the avocado Che and liked it last year and this time, we grabbed the special and Thai Che. This year is lacking a bit. Che thai was missing for me. House Special has durian in it mixed with classic combo of everything Che and durian scent is strong but thankfully my lil one loves it! Service avail if needed or self order through kiosk. We come for convenience as DaVien is next door and accommodates or boys with their drink preferences and coffee for us makes this location a win!

Omg?! What is this magical concoction?? I have never had che in my life, and the thought of a drinkable, scoopable chunky dessert was intriguing. The closest thing ive had thats similar in texture was Meet Fresh, however MF was not quite my cup of tea. BAKE AND CHE, however, changed my life! Now I cant stop thinking about it! If youre hesitant like me, try the coconut one! I feel like it is a great gateway for the numerous other flavors they have

This has become one of my favorite spots for chè (Vietnamese sweet bean soup desserts). I've tried many items on the menu and my favorite is their house special chè. It has a good mix of beans, durian paste, and different types of jellies in coconut cream, so it always hit the spot when I'm craving Vietnamese dessert. The store is in a fairly busy plaza, but I usually have no problem finding parking. They have a good amount of tables indoor for guests. You can order at the counter and pick your own seat. It's a nice place to stop by after lunch/dinner for some yummy desserts and hang out.

Great desert chain scattered about SoCal. To be fair we had just had a huge lunch and pressed cane juice so we were pretty full but the deserts looked too good to pass. Sadly I only had room for one: Flan Cheesecake. The best of all worlds. The richness of the cheesecake and the flan nicely offset by the bitterness of the caramel. Texturally it was perfect as well. As a plus it was not very eggy which many places seem to struggle with (Who want a desert omelet?) Pretty crowded and the line was almost out the door and the strip mall it is in was hopping so parking took a bit

It was pretty busy in here in a Monday night and I can see why. The pandan flan cheesecake was incredible. I will definitely be returning for that.

I was in the area getting pho and wanted to finish off the night with a dessert spot and stumbled across Bake & Che! All of their desserts looked delicious and a lot of their pastry dessert items were sold out! We ordered their house special which was pretty good, I honestly enjoy the coconut milk and some of the jellies over the beans. It was quite a lot but I know this is a classic Vietnamese dessert. I probably would be better off with their Coconut Smash or Premium Soy Pudding. We were also lucky to try their flan cheesecake which was spongy, soft and a little bitter. It's caramelized at the top and has a caramel sauce at the bottom as well. I would highly recommend this to someone! Seating is very limited inside. Parking here at night was really easy but I've seen this lot get super busy.

I love Bake & Che. They have multiple locations now throughout OC and LA. I mainly visit this location because it's closer to me. Parking: The parking lot can be frustrating because it can get busy on random days. Finding a spot is a hit or miss. Ambiance/Environment: They have a small/medium indoor space with a decent amount of indoor seating. It can get crowded with people waiting around at the pick up counter. It's a Vietnamese spot, so Vietnamese music will be playing. Service: The workers are nice, quick, and efficient. They speak English and Vietnamese. Desserts: I absolutely enjoy all their che. It's so refreshing! Their bakery items brings back so many memories for me. My favorite is the Pandan. My go-to Che are the Thai, avocado, and house special. Perfect amount of milk and a generous amount of jellies & fruits. My only critique is the cleanliness of the packaging. Every time I received my order, the cup is always sticky. Their Green Thai Tea is the BEST I've ever had! The floral and pandan notes definitely came through. Pricing: It is pretty pricey, but definitely worth it every once in a while! Highly recommend joining their rewards program through the Toast app. They also send out coupons/promotions occasionally.

Unique desserts with some great drinks!! They let you change the sweetness level on certain drinks and that makes my day. Normally I just think it's way too sweet! The baked cakes are very filling and dense but they have some fun flavors such as taro and cassava. I really liked the palm sugar cake it's like the pandan honeycomb cake which is delicious. The price is very reasonable so why not try all? Service is order at the counter and you grab your order when they call your number. It's a bit small and crowded in there but everyone pretty much gets it to go.

This place is pretty popular and gets packed quickly. You seat yourselves and if all spots are taken, get it to go or eat outside worst case scenario. They have a variety of desserts and the staff is helpful with offering suggestions. We got the house special and pandan and durian. House Special- This is a refreshing and flavorful dessert with ice, milk, and a variety of jellies and sweet beans. You can customize the sweetness level and remove ingredients if needed. Pandan and Durian- Chewy with just the right amount of sweetness. You can taste the pandan flavor with a bit of durian to accentuate. Great experience overall!

This is a must everytime I'm in BOLSA WESTMINSTER! Great + Fast Service! Sweetness + ice is adjustable, I get less syrup bc the beans in Che ba mau is alr sweet! The cassava cake has crispy edges and a chewy interior, not oily and better than butter mochi imo. everything is fresh! PLEASE COME HERE, DONT WALK, RUN!

The desserts here are so good and worth the stomach ache from the milk (for lactose intolerant people)... I loved the sweet beans especially and the textures of the different jellies. It was surprisingly not super sweet which I appreciated! I also loved the flan which had the perfect carnelized flavor to every bite. It was busy the whole time I was there so expect crowds and limited seating!

In Mexican culture we call them "pastel de mil hojas" which translates to a thousand sheet cake. I am a huuuuge fan of thousand sheet cake. After my husband birthday cake was a bust, we came here and were so glad we did. This is truly one of the best thousand sheet cakes we've ever had. We were taken a little back by what it looked like inside. There are lots of plants and we didn't seen any display of cakes. There was a family just standing there and we saw an older woman cutting strawberries. We were helped and were able to pay with a credit card. We ordered the 1/4 sheet cake and paid $45 which is more than fair. The cake is layered with cake, the thousand sheets, whipped topping, and a variety of fresh fruit. It is honestly so delicious and looks beautiful. They can also add a "happy birthday" for you if you'd like. The cake came in a box and with a disposable/plastic cake knife. Pro tip: Their storefront looks like a flower shop between the corner bakery and grocery store. Great job cake lady!

I buy a bunch of these to take home as souvenirs, as the strawberry croissants obviously need to be eaten ASAP. Their employees were pretty friendly and helpful.
