This is one of my favorite cafes to visit! I was so excited to hear that they got a new location. The space is bigger than the original space with a good amount of seating. I love how they decorate the space. It's similar vibes to their original space. I've visited twice now and there is usually a like but it goes by so fast. The service is really good and fast. The pandan matcha at 25% sweetness is my favorite! Other favorites is the ube latte, ube matcha, and pandan latte.

I'm so glad they opened this location because the wait is always a lot shorter than their other location. I also love how spacious this location is with plenty of tables to study or yap with friends! The big windows also let in a lot of light and are a great vibe. I've pretty much tried all their matchas and they are all great! Definitely on the sweeter side so I usually get 50% and it's still sweet. My favorite is the matcha einspanner because their cream is so good and addicting!

All the drinks here are so good. They're well known for their matcha drinks so if you're a fan of green tea lattes, then this is your spot. But you can't forget about their specialty coffee drinks either. As a coffeeholic, I've went to many coffee shops and tried many different drinks. Airoma is my number one drink shop. That's saying a lot. I didn't even care for matcha until I came here and tried the pandan matcha and now I freaking love matcha. I can't even pinpoint which drinks are the best because they are literally all delicious. From the pandan matcha to the matcha einspänner to the banana coffee, you just can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I wish I lived closer to one but then again that probably wouldn't be good for my wallet.

Can't go wrong with the Matcha Blueberry & Matcha Pandan!! Matcha is creamy and smooth. Very easy to drink. The pandan they use is really strong though, so probably try the other option if you want a more "matcha forward drink". On a Thursday, the line was very minimal and we got our drinks in 5-10 minutes. Quick and easy. There's a few seats inside, so many people were working and studying.

Always on the hunt for a smooth rich matcha and this has got to be my #1 at the moment. There isn't a day that the strawberry matcha doesn't hit. Rich, bold, but not too earthy. I mean the color speaks for itself! Service is efficient but can get pretty busy at times. There's a lot of seating to study and yap although it gets really loud in there so it wouldn't be the ideal spot to lock in.

My friends introduced me to Airoma and bro I swear this is some of the best quality matcha I've ever had, AND the prices are super reasonable!! They give you so much drink and flavor compared to other places I've been to. I had the Matcha Einspanner (like einstein but pronounced ein-spinner) and it was actually heavenly. My boyfriend ordered a banana-matcha latte and while he enjoyed it he said he preferred the pandan-matcha one, which I also thought was really good. One thing to note is that they only use oat milk as the base for all their matcha drinks. While oat milk isn't my first choice, it's a great base for people who are vegan or lactose intolerant. I genuinely didn't mind the taste at all and if anything I felt the oat milk made my drink even creamier which is a good thing. And the whipped creams that were on top OMG so gas. They also sell vietnamese coffees and oolong milk tea which I have to come back for sometime. This place is also super aesthetic for pictures, studying, and hanging out. They offer ample seating and the cushioned chairs are quite comfy. It does get pretty loud in here though so if you're studying I'd suggest good headphones. Overall, absolute S-tier cafe that needs to be tried at least once. The concentration of their drinks gives the perfect balance of flavor to buzz. You won't regret it!!

This location is the newer location in a much larger parking lot and spacious sitting area! I came on a Sunday afternoon and waited only about 20 minutes to order AND get my drink. Workers are super efficient here. I of course had to try the double matcha since everyone says they have the best matcha. While I wouldn't call it the best, it was REALLY good. Love how it came in a large cup as well.

Airoma Café has such an inviting vibe to its café. Friendly staff members that work cohesively with each other. The space is huge and open, with plenty of tables spread throughout. It's the kind of environment that works for pretty much anything; catching up with friends, bringing a laptop to study, or just hanging out with a good drink and people-watching for a bit.   Matcha Strawberry (4/5)  The matcha tasted legit; smooth and earthy without that overly bitter edge you sometimes get. The strawberry puree added just enough sweetness and fruitiness to balance everything out, and the layering made it look just as good as it tasted. If you like matcha but want something a little more refreshing and playful, this one is worth trying.   The House Coffee (5/5) I love a good house coffee! Honestly the standout for me. It's their take on Vietnamese-style coffee, and it hits that perfect sweet spot of bold, rich, and slightly indulgent. You can tell the coffee itself is strong and freshly brewed. It has a really smooth finish that keeps you going back for another sip. Definitely can brighten up your day if you need a caffeine boost for sure!   Overall, the vibe here makes it easy to see why people hang out for a while. Between the spacious layout, relaxed energy, and solid drinks, it's a great café to keep in rotation. I'll definitely be coming back to work my way through the rest of their drink menu.

This was my second time visiting Airoma at their newer Garden Grove location, and it definitely did not disappoint. They serve one of the better matchas I've had in the OC area. The quality and flavor are consistently great. My go-to order is the matcha einspanner. The matcha itself is smooth and rich, and the foam on top is incredibly creamy and delicious. It adds the perfect balance and makes the drink feel a little more indulgent. If you're a matcha fan, this spot is definitely worth checking out.

Airoma cafe makes the best matcha I have had in Southern California! Let's start with the matcha itself. I had asked the employee what she recommended and she said the matcha einspanner. When I got the matcha, I was pleasantly surprised about the color as it appeared to be authentic Matcha. The matcha einspanner comes with a cream and it is best if you mix it. While it is thick and sweet, the matcha flavor balances out the sweetness. The cost was $7.50 which is about average for a quality matcha. The inside of Airoma cafe offered plenty of searing. When we initially ordered there were only 2 lounge chairs available near the couch. After a few minutes, tables started to open up. While crowded, my drink was ready within minutes which impressed me. There was plenty of parking available on the outside of the building which was also a peek. Airoma is definitely a hidden gem.

this airoma location makes their matcha really nice! the taste is strong yet not watered down, too sweet (i tend to adjust sweetness to 50% or 75%), and isn't grainy. i usually get the double matcha or matcha einspanner! the service is pretty efficient given how many customers there are that come for the drinks. the place is also pretty spacious with multiple tables and seating. i see a lot of people working here or just chilling and enjoying their drink. the store is pretty bright and modern as well.

Airoma gets it, they provide great drinks and remedy any issues that arise quickly. I had a subpar experience and management reached out and wanted to make it right. I respect a business that listens to their loyal customers, it's few and far between these days. My top drinks are the matcha strawberry and eispanner, and I do plan on trying other drinks in the future. The cream on the eispanner is THE BEST I've had anywhere, including Austria! Thank you Airoma!

This place meets the hype for sure. Looks like a lot of people come here to study as well. Easy parking and no wait on a Friday evening. - Matcha Pandan $7: strong pandan flavor. Would def get again. - Banana Coffee: this was also very good, with a strong, silky, banana flavor in combination with the sweet bitter of a typical viet coffee. SO would get again Only one bathroom and it wasn't the cleanest.

I thought the whole thing was gross. NorCal's Phin Cafe is way better, along with the other Vietnamese egg/ube/pandan/etc coffee places that have been hype on social media lately (Phin Smith does not have some of these flavors - they're behind!). - Coconut Coffee The marbling is kind of cute, but the flavor is not potent or good enough. We've had plenty of coconut coffees pop up in NorCal and Phin Smith's coffee was meh. It was just missing creaminess, sweetness, coconut flavor, wasn't too strong on the coffee, and had a little extra water/crushed ice dilution. If rating this itself, it'd be average to below average. We had to add their self-serve simple syrup to make it taste better. We usually don't need to add anything when ordering at various places in NorCal because they actually get it right. - Peach Breeze Disgusting, one of the worst beverages that I've ever consumed in my life. It literally just tasted like someone opened canned peaches and added water to it. I AM NOT EXAGGERATING. I also asked for half ice and a majority of the thing was still large ice cubes. I don't drink coffee, but I'm not sure if I would have liked their other drinks on the menu considering their best selling coffee was barely satisfactory. Other than the subpar drinks, the inside had some sticky spots and could use some cleaning with actual cleaning product. Lots of people seemed to be enjoying themselves on their laptop, and I saw a few people buy their coffee bags. I liked how there was a cute motorbike outside and on the logo. I'll also add an extra star for having reasonable prices, so I didn't feel scammed after drinking this horrible concoction.

The location has plenty of parking and plenty of seating. There is an outdoor patio, and inside there is a first floor seating area, and a second floor seating area. The interior had high ceilings and modern practical decor. Staff will take your order at the cashier, but they also have a kiosk if you want to avoid human interaction. I was here for a few hours, so I started off with a hot beverage since I saw that they have mug service. I had the hot Churro Latte ($8.15/large) and I was warned it's a bit sweet so staff suggested that I get it less sweet. I appreciated the gesture but maybe that's why I didn't taste too much of the churro flavor. It tasted like a good regular latte but maybe they held back on the caramel and cinnamon to the point I couldn't detect it. Seating is first come first serve. It was actually really busy and difficult to find an ideal spot. Since I was alone I sat at a high top ledge, strategically near an outlet. From what I saw, they had a really good amount of outlets in the indoor seating area. Later on I went back and ordered an iced Blueberry Lavender Matcha with Cold Foam ($9.25/large) and a Deluxe Avocado Toast ($15) which comes with egg, bacon, and herb oil. I like that this location serves the avocado toast with a knife and fork cause it was much needed. It was a bit on the wet side. Maybe I should ask for light herb oil next time. For how much this avocado toast cost, I would have liked more avocado. The avocado was more of a spread, not whole slices of avocado. Still good, just an observation. The blueberry lavender matcha was okay. I could taste the lavender but it was overpowering the matcha and the blueberry was hard to detect at all. Honestly the location and plentiful seatings is what stood out most from this experience. I would consider coming back since I know their products are good from trying their other locations but I wouldn't get the drinks I ordered this time. For how expensive coming here was, I wish I was a little more satisfied.
