The manager (Ruth?) and her cronies are extremely rude, disrespectful and DISORGANIZED. They don't wear name tags or tell you their names if asked, so they can't be held accountable. They charged me twice as much for my prescription, only to find out they didn't bill insurance and went through a rewards program instead, without my authorization. Check your receipts! The photo shows how trashy and dirty it always is. It's been 3 months or so since I transferred all of my prescriptions to a more trustworthy location, so hopefully they've replaced this crew by now, but if not, do better CVS!! read more

I have filled several prescriptions on my 2025 insurance at this pharmacy since the start of the year. I went to pick up a prescription today and the price was unusually high. They said they had run it through on a discount drug program and somehow, they don't have my card on file, in spite of having filled several prescriptions this year. I am now waiting around for them to re-process the prescription so I can pick it up. My second trip here today to pick up they same prescription. read more

Feels like the people working in this pharmacy are probably overworked. Customer service isn't that great. They dont introduce themselves when they answer the phone or even say, "CVS, how may I help you?" or something like that--it is just "hello", which seems strange to me. Am I old school? Also have picked up a prescription here and they didn't show it as picked up so kept calling. Had to call them and say I already got it. Never had that happen before, seems like that could be dangerous with certain drugs. Not the best vibe. I give them credit for it being an extremely busy pharmacy and other pharmacies in the area being shut down, so now their work load has increased exponentially. Just wish they were a bit more professional. Makes me concerned a mistake might be made, or that I'm just seen as another number. I would mostly blame corporate as these type of issues usually come from the top down...and we know how insurance in America needs improvement. Just know what to expect. This CVS in Target on South Colorado Blvd. Rude employees, they have attitude, always screwing up my prescription and my insurance. I have transferred to Walmart and they are friendly, fast, and always have several employees on duty. Plus, they can send to my home without additional charges and the remainder me when to refill, They will not help you with over the counter questions or target items like ring them up. I have complaints to CVS and Target they blow you off. Walmart is so nice, they made it so easy to transfer, get shots for vaccines and even call you by your name not another customer. Plus, I see prices are cheaper too. If you go to your doctor see if they have a pharmacy at their location too. Save time by mailing ask which way the send. UPS is the slow the other too like fed ex or ups. If you need it that day Walmart. Time you get to Walmart it is filled. Remember they are closed for lunch at a certain time. Again, they always have several people on duty. The most time waiting was ten minutes. The have seating too. You can shop while being filled too. read more

Have had an issue for a week getting a time sensitive script filled. Too early to fill, didn't have the generic brand to fill, then stated they needed prior auth for a Ned I've been taking for years. I explained I was frustrated since I've been dealing with this for a week. The woman told me to call back when I'm in a better mood (no joke) and hung up on me. I called back and she answered the phone "what do you want?"...I asked for a manager and she just put me on hold forever until I hung up. Typical retail pharmacy really. It's right in the center of Target so the line can get fairly long during busy hours. Sometimes they seem a little understaffed, and you can equally find a super helpful or unhelpful associate depending on your luck. Most of the time they're helpful. In my case they scanned a coupon for a medication to reduce the price from $600 to $50, which I thought was very kind of them. Overall I'd say their customer service is satisfactory considering how they're dealing with the public and their meds day-in day-out. If CVS updated their app to make it easier to communicate with the pharmacy, it would spare a lot of headaches, so I blame upper management really. read more

I have never had an issue with this pharmacy until today. Today was too much! The pharmacist or pharmacist's assistant working today, 10/28/2022 around noon was extremely disrespectful. I asked for her name but the pharmacist Sandy didn't want to give me the pharmacist's name (female). I know the manager in charge was Kaydee Tran. The issue was that the refill given to me today had 87 pills instead of 90. That rude pharmacist didn't want to give me 90 when my insurance covers 90 pills. Previously, I had an emergency and asked for some pills in advance and I was given 3 pills, so by that time the refill was 87 (August 2022) and that was ok but obviously, you can't refill my prescription with 87 pills every time I request a refill because that emergency happened only once. That pharmacist was arguing with me nonstop from where she was working, on the back taking calls. It was extremely unprofessional and everybody around me was able to hear her arguing with me. While I was waiting patiently, even though I was late for work, I made a comment about myself saying that I wasn't lying (referring to those 3 pills that were given to me only once). She immediately said to me that I was rude for making a snide comment, even though she didn't hear what I said, I wasn't even talking about her. What she was doing while I was waiting was investigating to see if I got 3 additional pills during my last refill (my last refill was today). All this waste of time while there was a line behind me because she wanted to win the argument. Then Sandy talked to me and told me that the issue was an IT issue. In other words, it was their fault. At the end, they had to change my prescription from 87 to 90. No apologies to me and I got late to work because of them. All this for 3 additional pills I was due!!! I don't recommend this pharmacy unless you have time to defend yourself, even if you're correct. read more

Wow - what a great experience. Husband and I are all vaccinated and boostered and caught COVID. Our PCP sent in an antiviral Rx to our usual pharmacy and they cancelled our order for unknown reasons - I'm assuming they were out of stock. Called a couple other large pharmacies around town and after spending the morning on hold, I called this CVS and got straight through. They had it in stock! By this time, our doc was unreachable, as it was Black Friday and they were closed. The kind human at CVS was thoroughly helpful and had no problem calling our usual pharmacy and getting the Rx transferred over. Our scripts were ready in no time and they had no issue whatsoever with a friend picking them up for us. Overall just a super great experience and has me considering switching everything over to CVS going forward because it's bigger and more reliable. This is by far the worst Pharmacy we have ever been to. My wife was told to come down to the pharmacy to get our meds and that we specifically to pick them up today. Just a little backstory, this CVS was the only one that had our meds And We live 45 minutes away, when she got there she waited over an hour just to talk to someone, when she finally got to speak to someone, they told her that they didn't have our meds and they don't know who she talk to. It wouldn't be so bad, but they were so Flippin rude to her, rude to her enough to make her cry. my wife is not an aggressive person and for them to treat her so badly and make her feel like she was a Karen is ridiculous . First of all I don't think anybody that has life-saving drugs and then denies them to the person that desperately needs them should even have a job anymore like you're dealing with peoples lives, on top of it you have no right to be rude or treat people like dirt because you're having a bad day. I really hope whoever reads this is smart enough to change their prescriptions to another pharmacy . On 4/23/2024 I ordered my medication to be delivered to my work address through the CVS app. Mind you, I've had important things delivered there and there weren't any problems. That evening I got to thinking and decided to change the order to be delivered to my home address in case it would arrive on Saturday. I work Monday through Friday and don't have access to the building on the weekends. On 04/24 I called CVS and spoke with a female pharmacist and explained the situation and I asked to change the delivery location. She found my order and explained to me that she will have to cancel the order and make a new one. I agreed and so she did just that. Afterwards she told me my delivery fee will for be $9.49 for same day delivery and $5.49 for standard shipping. She said it will be delivered via USPS. I told her that when I purchased the medication through the app it said free shipping. I asked if she will honor that price and she said no. She then proceeded to say this is a new transaction and according to my insurance the delivery fee is in fact $5.49 of $9.49. She went on to tell me that it's USPS that will charge me, not CVS.The delivery fee prices I didn't mind. It's the principle that's important to me. At this point I told her I'd call back and let her know which route I want to take. 15 minutes later I called and spoke with a male pharmacy tech and explained what the pharmacist and I discussed. He said he overheard our conversation and repeated what she said. At this point his tone has changed and he seemed irritated and aggressive about me calling back and asking a few more questions. I was obviously upset bc of this whole situation. I proceeded to ask if I do purchase the medication through the app will I get free shipping. I was told, "No, the 1st time you order through the app you get free shipping. That's it". I told him I needed to think about this and will call back. Later, I called back and spoke with a different lady who was very understanding and I bought the medication to be delivered to my home with the standard shipping. After the transaction was done she told me that I will have to be home to sign for the package. I told her okay since the estimated delivery date was 04/26. Not once was I told this information while speaking with the pharmacist and pharmacy tech. My medication was delivered on 04/27 and placed in my mailbox. A signature wasn't required and there wasn't a delivery fee. The information given to me by all 3 employees was false. CVS, please train your employees to speak facts when a customer has questions about their medication/s being delivered. The headache I went through could have been avoided if I was given the facts. read more

I just checked yelp for hours of operation and was almost shocked to see how negative the reviews for the CVS Pharmacy induce the Target in Glendale. I have used them for years, and have had frustrations with the automated prescription service (today) and with coordinating all my drugs to be ready at the same time. However, my experience in perhaps 50 visits is that the staff has always tried to do the best they can. They have never been rude, even when I was frustrated with something. And they have been fine with vaccine shots. So I would rate the staff a 5 and their systems a 3, for an overall 4. read more

This is the worst CVS/ Target pharmacy in all of Metro Denver. In my last 10 transactions there, 9/10 have had absolutely poor customer service and errors. All they do is say sorry and have no path to ever fixing the problem in this store. They don't even provide some basic services that other CVS pharmacies provide with ease. they simply don't care. Today I went back, against my best judgement, because my kiddos MD called something in there last Wednesday. I was told they don't have the medication but did place an order yesterday. I have type 1 diabetes so I am here all the time and I've met really nice people, everyone is helpful but I have to say Marian (maybe it Mariam) is an absolute angel. She is the sweetest person I have ever met and she consistently will go out of her way to help and assist you. There is a pharmacy closer to my house but she makes the trip worth it. I can't say enough about how amazing she is and how much she has helped me, so much so she has restored my faith in humanity a little more each time I see her. Thank you! read more

Just had the absolute worst phone exchange with someone at the pharmacy. She was rude from the very beginning. She gave inconsistent information and then hung up on me. I had been calling the pharmacy all morning, but couldn't get through. She said the phones were down. I have COVID and had wanted to ask about my Paxlovid prescription. I've been using CVS for a little over a year now because my insurance changed and it seems I never have a simple pick-up. I'll call ahead of time for refill request or I'll go in after they receive new prescriptions from my providers and when I go in, most of the time a couple days later, nothing is ever ready. And today, that was the case again and they said my refill would be ready in 20 minutes. I waited patiently and 20 minutes later, I was told they were out of that particular medication. No one even bothered to call me to save me that time wasted. I do get an apology each time but nothing changes. I understand things happen but I don't understand why the customer service lacks completely at this location. I want this review to warn future customers because I know this won't change anything because they do not care here. Awful. Awful business practices and awful customer service. I have been going here for almost a year getting monthly prescriptions and I have yet to have a hassle free experience. CVS has consistently not filled my prescriptions no matter which method I use: auto fill, mail, or call in. I often receive phone calls saying my prescriptions are ready for pickup only to find they have not even started to be filled when I get to the store. This week I found that they only gave me one month of my prescription that was supposed to be three months and was told I am out of refills. When my doctor reached out to them they said they owe me, however when I went to get the rest of my medication they told me that I don't have any refills and that there is no record of talking with my doctors office. This is very upsetting, especially when it is concerning my health. Please save yourself all of this hassle and go to Walgreens which is basically in the same parking lot! read more

For instance, I just got back from my SIXTH visit in two days regarding one medication... and I still do not have the medication. I had to call back 3 times just to be told it's too early to refill. I'm trying to refill a continuous glucose monitor sensor because the current one is bad...and I'm paying cash. I had to change pharmacies due to insurance. The first 2-3 refills were a little rocky, I will admit. After we all got on the same page, everything has been fine. I even let their staff give me a flu shot. I will have been going there for 2 years in January 2021. I don't plan on leaving until the insurance company pulls me away. Here I am waiting, again, AS USUAL, in a line almost 15 people deep to pick up a prescription. And that's just the start of the problems here. Prescriptions waiting days in the cue to be filled (other CVS's around the country are filled within a couple hours), problems with text notification system, Rx point system not working (have been filling at least 10 Rxs monthly for three years here and have yet to see any "rewards"), don't follow up on doctor calls for refills, having to wait i redundant lines for multiple things, are among the numerous problems here. This place is terrible. If you can find Rxs cheaper elsewhere, I recommend you go there. Given they have a one star rating and their behavior hasn't changed it seems to me they don't care. read more
