The reason, they couldn't staff the store. They now close at 10pm, obviously do your own research for the hours of any WALGREEN'S location before you go out at night. Where is the closest Walgreen's location currently open 24 hours? It's in Parker, CO. South of Denver and at this time, just after Midnight on a Wednesday morning, the drive time is 24 minutes from my address in downtown Denver to the Parker Walgreens.. I live near the baseball stadium. I'm not being sarcastic, how is Denver the #19 most populous city in the country, with out any grocery stores open after 11pm, and not a single overnight Walgreen's location in the Denver metro area? The lack of open business options overnight is the reason that Denver has lost our oldest segment of the city's population. We've had an exodus of these Denver residents, some of them had been here since the 1600's. The nights when you could meet a handsome, charming, 500 year old Vampire in one of Denver's unique bars or neighborhood late night coffee shops, has all but ended. Vampires are not the horrible creates of Hollywood. They are brilliant historians who love to meet people and share lively tales of the past. When did the Vampire exodus begin? When Denver lost the option to shop overnight, You remember when the tents were not everywhere, that's because the "V's" were here. This story is not unique. Sadly, Walgreens and the grocery stores need to decide that paying better wages and being of service to the communities around them, including those who only go out at night, IS THE SOLUTION. Step up Walgreens. This is the #19 largest city in the country. Why are bars, adults bookstores, and & 7/11 stores the only options available 24 hrs a day? Final note: Adult Bookstores seem to sell all sorts of things, except books.

I tried to ask another employee and the other employees took my cart. Finally, I found a manager and told what happened and walked out of store without my items. These employees should remember that the customer pays their wages and with lots of other stores like Safeway, Target etc. So, get your act together Kings Soopers at this location. Plus, Kings better not do high tech shelves tags that you can change prices fast and easy no off or on demand prices when people shop. No matter what time you shop you get the same price.

I tried to pick up my prescription and was told it was too early and to come back in 10 days. That…read moremade sense, so that's what I did. Ten days later, the staff said to come in, and it would be filled within 45 minutes. When I showed up later that day, the pharmacist refused to fill it until he spoke with my doctor. That was fine, although highly inconvenient to travel to the pharmacy twice to pick up my prescription, only to be told they would not do it after I arrived. I asked if they could give me a date to pick up the medication, and if it was two or three weeks out, that's fine, and I'll come back at that time. I was then told, for the first time in this 2-week debacle, that the DEA flagged the refill, which is why they need to speak with my doctor. That seemed reasonable, in general, but unbelievable in this case. They never mentioned it before despite my inquiries. My doctor did not believe that and sent the order to CVS. CVS filled the medication within 45 minutes. No DEA flag, which would have shown up in their system if it were true. Evidently, the pharmacist lied to my face about something as significant as the DEA flagging a medication. In sum, the pharmacist accused me of doing something nefarious, misled me multiple times by telling me to pick up my medication and then refusing to fill it after I arrived at the pharmacy, and worst of all, lied to my face about the DEA flagging it. Moreover, they made little to no effort to reach my doctor, and their inefficient system, with no line for medical providers (which is inexplicable), made it impossible for my doctor to reach them without waiting on hold for 20 or 30 minutes. I know of two pharmacists at this location. One of them, the white male, is dishonest and offensive. He lied to me when he could have filled the prescription or given me a later date at which time he would have been willing to do so. He refused to call my doctor when I asked him to reach out one more time to resolve the situation. I am not concerned about his refusal to fill the prescription. He probably felt he was doing his job. However, at a minimum, a patient should expect honesty and respect rather than dishonesty and false accusations.
