DO NOT GO HERE!!! They will short you pills and blame you for it, they are rude as hell on the phone, no customer service skills whatsoever. Most of the staff is pleasant, but a few, like the main pharmacist, are very rude and condescending. They lie about prices, they lie about refills, they lie when I say I've talked to them about an issue in the past. They don't listen. I've tried to state my problems with them multiple times, and they either don't listen or ignore what I'm saying. Their online COVID testing appointment making, does not work. Plain and simple tried several different variations of trying to set up one or the other (rapid or the test that takes a couple days to get back) after putting in all my information and submitting for an appointment, the screen keeps reloading and tells me there's no stores In the area so after being on the phone with the robot and after multiple button presses, I FINALLY got an actual human that transferred me to the pharmacy where MICHEAL picked up told me that the rapid test are not available at this location. Even tho previously to this phone call, I had tried setting up an appointment with both the rapid and the other one. Both failed to submit an appointment online. After I have told Micheal this I ask if he can help make an appointment "right now, verbally, over the phone, in this moment" I've have the most absolute difficulty trying to do it online and his answer was "No" Straight up "No" No... you can't help me? No... you aren't gunna go see if there's any way you can make this easier? I will come in to the store unmasked and speak directly to Micheal if that is what he would like? Updating my review because the stories keep getting better and the service keeps getting worse. Called to have a prescription filled, spent SO long on hold (over 30 minutes) that I was able to get dressed, get in my car, drive to the CVS, walk to the back of the pharmacy and wait in line to talk to someone before a single staff member answered or acknowledged my call. When I walked into the pharmacy there was one customer at the counter, not a single person in the drive through line, and 7 employees -- all of which were having very loud conversations about their day. The low amount of professionalism that I received from this location is astounding. I love getting film developed and seeing my pictures. However, I do NOT appreciate the sass that I receive every time I call and ask about my photos. They will ask "Have you received an email or call about your photos" and I never receive any calls or emails even when my photos are ready. You are told when dropping off your film that it should take about 2-3 weeks, which is fine! But I am never called when my photos arrive and I am never emailed. I am tired of the poor service and from now on I will be taking my film elsewhere! If you are wanting some great photo service, this CVS location is not it!!! I required a Covid PCR Test for travel. I went to CVS to have the test done via drive thru service. The fellow that looked after me was very friendly and thorough. They state that you will get your test result back with 1 - 3 business days. It's been 4 days & I still haven't received my test results back. I needed to be back in Canada within 72 hours, so I went to Wall's, paid $200 for a test and I had the results within 30 minutes. I wouldn't recommend getting your test done at CVS if you need it for travel. read more

I had a Rx that I needed to pick up at this location that was transferred from my normal pharmacy. Was told it would be filled in an hour. Went the following day to pick it up. Stood in one line only to be told to go to another line. Was told then it was out and should be on the truck they were getting that afternoon. Said would text me once filled that day. Never got the text. Called to see if it was filled and was on hold for more than 10 minutes. Probably the worst customer service I have seen. Reminds me why I like the smaller pharmacies that know my name and answer the phone immediately. read more

Every time I come in here, there is a line almost to the other end of the store for the pharmacy. They don't seem to ever have enough personnel. I have stood longer in line than I have getting the actual medications that I need. I'm very disappointed with this aspect. read more

My husband and I have been going here since they were an Osco Drug. After they were bought out by CVS, we were hoping the prices would drop and the professionalism increase. Boy were we wrong! The prices actually went up on a lot of things, both prescriptions and general merchandise. The pharmacy staff were apathetic, and we had TWO medication errors in a month. They also stopped handing out the medicine droppers with children's liquid medications. My son was prescribed liquid amoxicillin and I had the prescription filled at CVS. We live nearly 30 miles out of town, so imagine my anger and disappointment when I got home and found the medication completely un-reconstituted. Both bottles. I called them immediately, and the pharm tech told me to come back and she would remake it. When I told her how far away I lived, she told me I would need distilled water to make it myself. I told her I didn't have any, so she told me to boil some water and use that water, while sounding very irritated and bored. Yes, you read that right - CVS made me mix my son's medications at home. This was a HUGE chance for harm - if I hadn't known how to properly mix medications, I could have mixed it wrong and seriously harmed my son. The other issue I had that month involved being told that a medication for my oldest son not being kept on hand. It is a very common drug that three other pharmacies stocked at that time. When they finally had the drug, it was 10$ more than a different pharmacy and they wouldn't discuss the price difference. When I moved our prescriptions to a different pharmacy, I had a problem with them not properly transferring it. I ended up doing it by hand and have never gone back. read more

They have the WORST service ever. Tried to get a prescription mailed out but couldn't get it mailed or even talk to a person to figure out how to get it done so after trying on their website which would not work so I gave up. My wife went in to pick up my prescription but they said that have no record of me having one in spite of the fact I had three messages to get it. I called them and explained the messages and the fact I had it filled there ninety days ago but it didn't matter. I give up and am going to a different pharmacy. We have been customers of CVS for over 15 years. We used to know the pharmacy staff and the pharmacy staff knew us. Now the pharmacy is constantly changing and you get treated like a number. The past couple of years the problems with the pharmacy have been so frequent it's a joke. The past 5-6 months there has been some issue with my order that is supposed to be synced and never is. They don't seem to care to fix it either. They are grossly understaffed and you wait in line for 15-45 mins and then then when you discover they have messed up your order they want you to step aside or wait more time while they fix their screw up. Dropped off prescription and told it would be 10-15 minutes. I am now on my 3rd tinme back where I have been told it will be "expedited" and it will be filled and/it recounted. I am still waiting and am thinking that the prescriptions' shelf life will expire long before I ever receive them. Everytime I am told that they are expediting and I am told it will be 10 minutes and I reply that I have been told this 3 times over the last 2 hours, I get looks like I as m beyond rude. I've stopped in here a few times for random things. I had a prescription transferred to here without incident, so that makes me happy. They charge a little more for my Rx than I have previously paid at other places, but since I leave town a lot I need a national pharmacy in I'm an idiot and forget my pills. FYI- in ND the pharmacy must be owned by a licensed pharmacist, so no Walmart or Target pharmacy here....Things are a little more pricey here than at Target, unless it's on sale & you have a CVS card... then you can find some pretty good deals. read more

I called CVS Pharmacy was told it would ready. I said to the lady now if you can't please tell me I will wait until tomorrow if it can't be filled. She said it would be filled NO PROBLEM was a fast fill. So I was told to come before 6:00pm. I was there at drive through waiting behind another car which it was 5:35pm as soon as the car in front of me was done at 5:46pm they shut down the drive through which I wasn't able to go inside. So I called them and told the lady what I was told. She says to me they didn't see me behind the other car that they shut the drive through window down at 5:45pm...Guess what I didn't get my meds... Here is the thing where does it say drive through window closes at 5:45pm and its not posted on outside of window!!!!!! And why didn't she tell me that on the phone.. SMH thank you again CVS for showing what kind of customer service you there. From now on instead of me getting upset over the stuff you do and trying to talk with your manger who just doesn't take responsibility and yelling in customers faces. I've lived in Grand Forks for ten years. This has been my pharmacy because they give seasonal flu shots, and because state law prevents the operation of non-pharmacist-owned pharmacies so there aren't loads of options in town. The prices at any pharmacy in North Dakota are outrageous because of the lack of competition. Pricing of name brand items is inflated so sale prices are equivalent to the regular price you'd pay in a different state. The regular prices of generic items are usually the same as non-discounted name brand items in a different state. The costs of the over-the-counter allergy medications I saw today were unbelievable. You can get a card to receive additional discounts on certain products, but you aren't necessarily going to do any better on most purchases unless the timing is just perfect. My major complaint, and the thing that prompted me to write the review, is the consistent lack of inventory of name brand over-the-counter drugs. If the price of a product isn't so inflated that it is too expensive to purchase it, there usually isn't any. This is so shady, and a great way for them to make heavy profits because they don't have to share what we pay with another manufacturer. I have been a customer for a decade, and I have never been able to get the name brand Sudafed product they advertise because they're always out, and it's always suggested that I buy the generic. Being out of stock a few times would maybe be coincidence. When a long-term chronic allergy sufferer over a period of ten years can't ever get this product, it's most likely a policy. They've never messed up a flu shot, and I've never gotten a bad prescription. Once I was trying to pick up one that was called in by my doctor and they couldn't find it, which was fun. I will not be going back here! I just recently got health insurance at my new job, so it had been a while since I went to the doctor. My doctor prescribed a couple of things for me at my most recent visit and I named CVS as my pharmacy of choice because I shop there a lot and it's near my apartment. I went in to get my prescriptions filled and the lady that helped me was not very pleasant. Being someone who had worked in customer service for 14 years, I expected a little bit more from her. I took a seat and waited until my name was called. When they finally called my name, I walked up to the counter and the same lady pointed at the line and said "get in line". I have no problem being told to wait in line... but it's how she said it that made me angry. She, along with one other person, were ringing people up at the register. As soon as I was the next person in line the mean lady put up a "next register" sign and walked away. When it was my turn I found out that one of my prescriptions was not covered under my insurance, even though my doctor said it was. And the other prescription, even though it was covered, was still very expensive. I didn't expect to be paying so much when I came in and I realized I couldn't afford the bill, so asked if they could hold them. I went home and wanted to call my insurance company to find out why the prescription wasn't covered but I realized they never gave me back my insurance card. So after work I went back. I had transferred some money from my savings and was ready to pay for the item that was covered. My fiance came with me and I told him about the rude lady that helped me earlier. The lady that helped me this time was not much better. She kept giving me the annoyed look because I guess I was supposed to know that the insurance card was put in the bag with my prescriptions. I think it further annoyed her that I was only paying for one of them and asked her to keep holding the other one until I could get the issue with my insurance company straightened out. She looked like she wanted to bite my head off. My fiance noticed how rude she was being and asked me if it was the same lady as before. Unfortunately it was a different one... Needless to say, I will not be going back to this pharmacy. They need to work on their bad attitudes and how they treat customers. read more

Terrible service and a long wait. Was helped immediately, but the one guy who had been waiting when I walked up looked like he'd been there a while, so I let him go first. Cashier rang up my scrip, but it was missing the insurance info, so I waited patiently for that to be entered. I stood roughly 5 feet from the register so other customers could be helped. After 10 minutes I flagged someone down and was told they'd called my name, which was not true, and that I'd have to wait in line again. Waited an additional 10 minutes in the line of 5 to 6 people which had formed while I waited. Never again CVS. Never again. read more

I had to return an item and the manager (who was wearing sweatpants and not looking the nearest bit professional and had nothing on her to say she was a manager, thought she was a customer) was extremely rude.
