To the time spent at the pharmacy counter waiting to be acknowledged by the pharmacist just feet away whom is trying to avoid helping you in hopes that his under-staff will eventually get to you. Of course after getting through the cloud of smoke from the often 2-3 employees out front every 10 minutes for smoke breaks and social media time, could be tricky. Dodging customers seems to be the main topic in their corporate Human Resources Orientation class. The Lewis Center DDM and other pharmacies in Grove City are my comparisons to here. Whomever runs this store is failing as a store manager and its time they are terminated. If you're there to get a Covid shot, the man in a White coat will mow you down to get to the next patients arm, and then tolerate the many complaints from the patients/victims as he encourages them that the band-aid will solve the after-effects they are now complaining about, if they would just get up and leave the premises. After all, people are still standing at the counter for 15 minutes waiting for any acknowledgment that I have been standing at the counter again...waiting for 15 minutes while the pharmacists and his staff avoid any eye-contact until they are ready to ring you up or answer your questions. Save yourself the hassle and go to Walgreens, Walmart, CVS because the service at Grove City Discount Drug Mart is so bad, I'm willing to pay a higher price somewhere else for quality service.

I am not sure why because the store is amazing. It's like Kroger wrapped into Walgreens into Hallmark into Target into Dollar Store into Big Lots. Need some organic milk? Check. Need Christmas decor at cheap prices? Check. Some special vitamins? Check. Maybe a kitchen appliance, like an Instant Pot? Check. Expensive hair products? Check, check. DVDs? Check. Maybe an ankle brace a year after your surgery? An entire selection at 1/4 the cost of CVS. How about a furnace filter and some special light bulbs? There's an entire hardware aisle for you. Some freshly made chicken salad? Deli in the back. Huge ice cream selection? Craft beer? Wine? All you chunks are covered. $1 random items in a bin? My fave. This is my favorite place to go and park right in front, fill my cart, spend $100 no matter what I need, and leave with bags and bags at reasonable prices. The employees are all also so very sweet. I find that Walgreens is SDM, but on an entirely kicked-up level. I tend to hit Walgreens to get candy and chocolate to bring home with me. It's perfect to share with colleagues and friends. I got white chocolate Reese's peanut butter cups. There was a sale happening where you can get two bags for $3. I got four bags. Two were these cups. The other two were assorted Hershey's chocolates. Let's just say that my team at work inhaled both bags that I had brought in (the cups and the assorted chocolates). They were that yummy. I loved the section of books that featured the history of Columbus. I stood there reading one of them. Perhaps I should have bought it. It was a good read. Ever since my trip to Charlotte and visiting a Walgreens there, I have a thing for Squishmallows. I saw the cutest festive penguin one that you can hook to your purse and got it. It was only $3. I got to the register to pay. I got a nice guy helping me with my purchases. I got my Walgreens rewards card scanned, paid with a credit card, and walked out happy with my purchases. This Walgreens has everything. I marvelled at the decent beer varieties. There's Shiner Bock, which I first consumed in Dallas roughly a decade ago. I also loved the Atari gaming console. I already have it and the original, but it made me happy seeing it. (411)
