Walmart Neighborhood Market has to be the worst shopping experience ever. I've been there a few times and I really hate going there because the place is dingy and not well lit at all. The employees cut you off as you are shopping and don't even say "excuse me." I went to Winn Dixie last week for the first time and it was beautiful inside. Well lit. The employees say "hi" to you and make you feel good about spending your money there. I was really impressed since I used to work in a grocery store in Florida and being nice and friendly is what made people come back and spend more money. I had to go to Walmart Neighborhood Market today because Winn Dixie didn't carry some of the items my 2 year old son loves. I found all my items and one little extra treat I thought my son and his grandpa would love. When that item was being rung up the cashier (Marnie) said "there's no price on it. Do you know how much it was?" I said "no. I don't " so she set the item aside and continued ringing up the rest of my items. She rings the last one up and then says my total. I asked her about the item she set to the side. She replied "there's no price on it. I can't ring it up" I was astounded at how she thought that was an okay answer. I then asked her if she could get an associate to get the price and she replied "no. You can go back and get one with a price on it though." I responded with how that would never fly where I'm from. She then told me that they were short handed and there was nothing she could do. I have never experienced such rudeness ever! I would have gone back and gotten one with a price on it when I was a cashier. It's not the customer's fault that the bakery didn't put a price on the item. There were two other stickers on it just not a price. It's also not the customer's job to walk all the way back and get one. Especially when customer is battling MS and walking is a chore. I called the store manager and asked what their policy was on something like that and she was shocked that had happened. That made me feel a little better, but not enough to go back there. I'll be shopping at Winn Dixie and Rouse's (which is far away) from no on. Walmart Neighborhood Market is terrible.

Nothing was said to me. Had prescription sent there today from my Doctor's office and then was told that they no longer accept my insurance. So she expected me to pay $98 when I have been paying $4 for the same medication. And her. Only explanation was I'm sorry. We no longer accept your insurance, which is so not true. They are not getting what they want from the insurance companies. So they are saying they no longer accept them, they are so unprofessional. I advise finding another pharmacy to do your business with.
