The staff is incompetent. The pharmacist tried to make up for their mistake but then didn't transfer my prescriptions like he said he would. Then when he did he still forgot one. I have gone to this particular CVS for 3 straight days trying to get my perscription. Each time I was told it was being processed. I told the lady behind the counter about this issue and asked to speak to the supervisor. She wasn't going to be in for a half hour I chose to to wait. Isn't it bad enough that the lines to checkout are 10 deep, they have one associate to wait on customers only to be told our perscription still isn't ready, with no explanation. I am sick of this. If I could give -10 stars I would. If you need medication today, do not use this pharmacy. Besides having rude employees, they will not fill your prescription. They will tell you to come back to get it in 6 days. This has happenEd to me 3 times in the past week. they gave 5 or 6 people working behind the counter, but can't seem to fill a simple prescription. They only say they are running behind. You cannot drop off your prescription and get it later that day either. You need to sit in their pharmacy area for 45 minutes if you want it filled same day. If you leave the store, you wait 6-7 days. This is unacceptable. People need their meds, and can't wait 6 days, or sit there for 45 minutes. I had my mom (84) and dad with Alzheimer's in the car and it was 87 degrees outside. read more

The store is neat and the pharmacy is always very helpful. I've dropped by multiple times already the past week to get cold medicine and allergy medicine. The staff was quick to greet me and was very friendly. I like the fact that the pharmacy is open 24/7 so I can get medicine that's they keep behind the counter anytime I want. My only gripe is that when I tried to purchase something that was on sale, the price wasn't honored. I have the membership card and the ticket only mentioned that you have to have that to get the sale price. When I mentioned it to the clerk, she said that you needed a printed out coupon to get the sale price, which the ticket did not mention at all. I was a bit short on time and did not feel well so I just left it at that and paid regular price. Things should be written out clearer so these confusions could be avoided. read more

Three stars because this is an absolutely average drug store. The nail polish options are amazing. But there's carpet. Why would a place that carries so much goop have carpet? The Pharmacy at CVS is running on all cylinders all the time. No matter what time I drop off a RX, there is someone there to receive and process it. For the most part, you can get a RX in about an hour. One night I rolled in at 10pm after taking my son to the ER and I don't believe there was a pharmacist on duty. The woman who processed my RX said that it would be ready by noon the next day. There wasn't a seriously urgent need for the RX that evening, so I decided to come back to pick it up in the morning. Whenever I am there to pick up a RX or if I have questions about over the counter drugs, the pharmacist of duty answered my questions. Now I must admit that I've seen some people get a little bent out of shape at the checkout counter. I mean get BENT OUT OF SHAPE! When it comes to peoples health I can see why they get a little tense. For the most part, all of the staff working in the pharmacy conduct themselves in a professional manner and do their best to help all of the customers. I like this location, but they are building a CVS less than a mile from my home in Hampton. I will be transferring my RXs to the new location when it opens. read more

On March 7, 2019 I waited for about 50 min in the drive through. When I first pulled up an SUV was pulling off and when I got to the window the pharmacy employee opened the window and advised she'd be right with me then closed the window back. After about 45 min someone that was behind me got out of their car and knocked on the pharmacy's window and someone finally came over to the window (a different person than who spoke to me originally ). The lady outside with me let them know that we were all waiting, and also let them know 4 cars left. I didn't go in since I figured if I was waiting that long outside they must be just as busy inside and didn't want to lose my space in line. Once the pharmacy employee waited on me it was only about 2 minutes before I received my prescription that was already prepaid. She let me know that she didn't realize anyone was at the window since the alerting system didn't go off to them know any cars were in line. Someone should periodically physically check to make a car that isn't low to the ground isn't waiting. Very poor customer service. read more

Worst pharmacy I've EVER had to deal with consistently guarantees refills by a certain time then needs extra hours or DAYS to fix the mistake, always understaffed, was told my medicine was in Stock and when I went to pick it up I was told they were out and the guy must have just "glanced at the bottle and assumed there was enough" , this or another unacceptable mistake has happened EVERY SINGLE TIME FOR THE PAST YEAR. The people in the general store are always nice and helpful but the pharmacy department is horrible. Most are nice but some of the pharmacists are rude and condescending. More often than not they mess up my prescription in one way or another and act like it's my fault. Often I'll be in line waiting and see two or three of them back there just chatting and ignoring the line, and then when they decide to come help, they act like it's your fault that they have to work and act annoyed at you. read more

This wasn't the first time I've had an issue with the pharmacy staff so shame on me for not switching sooner. Rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. If you use this pharmacy be careful. My husband gets his prescriptions filled here. Usually he has no problem, when he picked his prescription up. 1 of them were missing. You say big deal- it is when you pay $10.00 for one dose. He counted them when he got home & 1 was missing. He called the pharmacist, he waited for at least a half hour on the phone. When the pharmacist checked his shelf he found more then 1 was unaccounted for & told my husband to call today. He did & the lady who took his call basically told him they can't help him. Now, he has to count his medication before he leaves the store. This medication should of been counted twice before it left the store. They usually mark it down as double-counted. Which this time it wasn't. I liked the CVS pharmacy in Virginia Beach on Little Creek & Shore Dr. Way better then this one. Had problems at this store when we 1st moved here. Thought it got better.
