I was visiting family in the area and needed a last minute picture printed for a baby shower. I…read moresent it to the closest CVS and I am glad that it was this one. At first my picture did not load when I sent it through the app, but Ian, the store manager called me personally and spoke me through the process. When I was still not able to get it done online, he suggested I come in and do it. Upon my arrival to the store, we were greeted by a wonderful cashier (sorry I didn't get her name), but she got Ian from the back and he took his time and helped me print an amazing copy of my picture on a canvas. The cashier offered my sister and I cold bottle water as we waited and chatted with us to help pass the time. Ian and all of the employees where so pleasant and helpful and gave true southern hospitality. I normally visit the area once or twice a year and I know for sure I will always use this location for all my photo, pharmacy and other store related needs; as the services was amazing and the staff kindness went above and beyond to help. This makes me confidence to say that I will always spend my dollars there when I am in the area and even just pop in to say hello!!!

They always have their specials posted and they always seem to have fresh cake slices available. I can't say enough how I love the kids/toy aisle! They have toys from when I was a kid, my toddler loves them all and we never leave without buying something! They also have new types of toys as well as puzzles and some large item educational toys. I was surprised to see they had the original pound puppies for sale today! Right now they have a lot of beautiful Christmas items for sale, we love looking at all of the festive stuff and of course we stopped to see the Christmas bouquets. She thinks she is the DEA if you're getting pain medications there be aware that she is a person that thinks if you take pain medications you are a criminal. Two carts were left in the aisles blocking the path so only one person could pass down a portion of the aisles. A lot of the merchandise that was supposed to be on sale was not available which was disappointing. I asked the cashier for a price check on an item that was in a box listed at a lower price than was displayed on the package. He didn't do a price check he told me the price was the price listed on the item. The price on the box the item was in was wrong. He was not very pleasant. I came home an deleted my Walgreens account on-line and will never step into a Walgreens again. If I could have rated the store at zero stars I would have done so!

I found cute lip sticks, eye shadows, and lashes all under $4. I do love a good deal. The store is clean and the staff is nice. They have self checkout registers now as well. The pharmacy closes for lunch for 30 mins to an hour each day. So make sure you call ahead for the correct times. The store has a decent selection of items. Some prices are reasonable but there are also some higher priced items that made me raise my eyebrow. There's even a small as seen on tv section. They also have a few frozen foods, snacks, drinks, and etc. This location tends to have alot of people asking for money. So be aware!! They will walk up on you with no problem. Some are nice but a few are persistent and don't like taking no for an answer. This is a nice store though and i like the staff. The pharmacist get to know you and will answer your questions.. It is time for a review to see how things have been. These days, it's just me picking up meds here since Sophia transferred hers to another pharmacy. Again, drive-thru is used. For some stops, the line can be a bit long, but since I pick my stuff up after work, it's no bother. From ordering on the Walgreens app, medications are ready for pickup either on the same day or the next depending on availability of supply. Unfortunately, my diabetes meds had to transfer to mail delivery for another provider due to the prescription, but nonetheless, everything else has been efficient. Walgreens will continue to be a reliable source for pickup. Till next time :)

This morning, my husband went to the Gloucester, VA location to print some photos from his phone. I…read moretold him to ask for help since we're not very tech-savvy with their machines. He waited about five minutes before the photo area employee even acknowledged him. When she finally did, he explained he wanted to print pictures from his phone, and her response was, "You're a big boy, you can figure it out." Is this what passes for customer service now? I'm completely disgusted. He didn't get her name, but it should be easy to find out since it was early in the morning. I'll be spreading the word about this blatant disregard for helping someone. It makes me question why she's even working there if she lacks the basic customer service skills needed to interact with people daily. I hope she's reprimanded, as I doubt this was the first time she's refused to assist a customer. Gloucester has lost my business for good, and I'll make sure others know about their lack of customer service.
