I asked her if I could have extra cucumber and she said I had to pay (understandable) so I declined. Lo and behold, when I open my noodles there are no cucumber to be found. So she either didn't pay enough attention to actually listen to my question, or decided to lie to me. Imagine if I paid extra. What would I have been paying for? Nicki, the store manager, answered and immediately went out to see if she could find it. When we finally got back, she helped us search and even helped us comb through the dumpster. Thank goodness we found them!! The entire team was kind and helpful and went way beyond above and beyond. There is a small independently owned convenience shop in the center of old Whitestown. The building…read morehas been several things over the years from sandwich shop and market to now a convenience store. They carry everything you would find in a convenience store except gas. There is no gas. I was welcomed by the clerk as I entered and later asked if I needed help finding anything. Inside features a good selection of craft and domestic beers. There is a small selection of wine. At the back of the store are cases of cold power drinks and sodas. There is a small coffee bar. The center of the store houses shelves of snacks and pantry items. And behind the clerk is a freezer with ice cream bars which attracts the neighborhood kids in the summer. Outside, there is neatly piled stacks of firewood and an ice machine.
