I have no business or need to go there, except for one reason; my sister can only find a particular sensitive skin cleanser that she insists on for her children through them and because she does not want to pay shipping charges. So being the kind person that I am, once a year, I go to Hocks to pick up a years supply of this cleanser for her. She makes all the arrangements, I just do as I am told. I had no idea that they had opened up a new store. The new one has every possible apparatus, etc that you can imagine using for at-home use while recovering from surgery, etc. The clerk working could not find my order. I was annoyed to death. Apparently, no instructions were left for the staff, and whoever handled my sister's order was not available and could not be reached. I was told that the store and the website were separate entities though they were housed in the same building. The clerk had no idea where to find my order. Driving 30 minutes out of our way did not make me happy nor did it please my already irritated husband. An hour later, after already passing the Indiana border, the clerk calls to tell me that she located my order and did I want to come back and pick it up? So 13 days after surgery this pharmacist thinks he's caught lying on recording. My phone was in my rt hand against my left bicep until I look to make sure its recording. PHARMACY: This is the main reason we're about to move across the street to CVS. I can't count the number of times recently that one of our routine prescriptions has been delayed or out of stock. And each month for four months now when I go for my refill on one med, it takes about 20 minutes and two people to make it go through the system right. Each time they're sure they have it fixed, and each month I go through the same thing again... come on! This defeats the purpose of using the app to "call in" needed refills ahead of time if I still have to wait at the register that long. OVERALL: The store itself is clean. The employees are a mixed bag. Recently they've clearly been coached on better customer service as they yell "welcome to Walgreens" at you when you walk in (kind of comical).
