Overall I am impressed with this Walgreens. Its size is huge compared to the other Walgreens stores/pharmacies I'm familiar with. It has rows and rows of stuff - not only the over the counter medical stuff, but it also carries foodstuffs (both bottled, canned, stuffed and refrigerated), greeting cards, some toys, skin care products, and so much more! The service at the register is pretty good, but the pharmacy area didn't process as speedily as I expected. I think they were short staffed. Though I rate it three star, I still would visit this Walgreens again. Do note that things can be pricey here, so I would encourage readers to make sure their cell/phone number is in the system (rewards) so you can benefit from the lowered prices on many items if you are. She was awesome and knew her stuff! The reasons that I didn't give 5 stars is because of the many encounters where I did not get a call or even a text letting me know my medications were ready for pick up when they were supposed to be ready, so after not hearing anything I would call to see what was going on. I was told well there was an issue with one of your prescriptions, insurance or the company isn't making that medication any longer. Well.... please call me and inform me of this. This has happened several times at this location for one reason or another. I have given my insurance card and Good Rx card to the employee working at drop off to make sure it's updated in the system so they know these are the only 2 valid insurance cards I have and to delete all the others. I watch the employee put them in the system but unfortunately they never delete the invalid ones and then I am back to the same problem. I'm told by pharmacy techs well..... you have 6 insurance cards in here and we didn't know which one to use, well when I come in and hand you the insurance cards and tell you several times that these are the only 2 cards that are valid please delete the invalid ones to make this an easier transaction so there's no confusion. This is so frustrating to patients. Then I have to wait on medication I've needed and then I am told to come back yet again and show you my insurance cards that I have already spent time bringing in days earlier for you to update. Please please...... I know you are busy but please be more organized. It will save you a lot of time down the road and the customer too. People can't always wait around on certain medications when they are needed and they are out. My husband always tells me I don't know why you keep going back and putting yourself through this every single month. It's always the same issue as before. When are you going to learn.

Those days are long gone and this near Walgreens super center finds the pharmacy on the back right flank of the store! Really, I've generally had good experiences with those who work my prescription and those who cover the cash register. This Walgreens is easy to access off both JoeAndy and Atlantic. It has a pretty superior-sized parking lot, as it's a little set off from the other stores in this location. I like coming in here because this Walgreens is kept pretty clean and mostly well-organized. They have many general over the counter medications, creams, etc. on a few aisles near the pharmacy. I'm thankful to the pharmacy personnel because they have always been helpful when I had questions about them. But on the whole of it, Walgreens has many items for customers to choose from. They have everything from greeting cards to candy - even a little wine in the store! I will say that there is a benefit to get on their rewards plan. I if remember correctly, All I had to do to become one was to give my phone number while checking out. It's a pretty good option. I've been here enough now to feel the vale of what this Walgreens brings to this area. I think others will find an enjoyable visit here as they get their pharmaceuticals filled again. Did you know they had headsets for the drive-thru? I didn't. Was baffled when I looked up and into the window and no one was there. That's cool. I've also had to transfer a prescription to this location because of a script snafu. I tried calling my main one but no one picked up the phone. I tried 3 separate times and no one was there. Someone always picks up here. Getting a vaccine here too goes pretty well. Every year is a different pharmacist it seems and they are so kind and quick.

Got what I needed and ran out of there before I fried my credit card. Located across the street our hotel and open until 11pm most every night. Also, there is a CVS pharmacy connected to it.

You'll find pharmacists that do not hide behind glass and are too busy to talk with their customers. Rather, you'll encounter very helpful folks who are only too pleased to provide a full and very helpful explanation/details/etc. Dealing with these folks was a real relief from the usual CVS, Publix, Wynn Dixie, Walgreens pharmacies. It tries to be a larger and full shopping place for people to visit, in addition to the well-established pharmacy that it is. But it just seems to come short of appeal in my view - not because of what others have written, but because of its appearance on the inside and with that untitled (cement) floor, I feel like I'm in a dark place! Seriously. I have been here a few times and it's pretty clear that even with what this CVS offers, it's very difficult to top Publix a few doors down and the Walgreens across the street. Now positively, I will say the workers and pharmacists have been pretty nice and courteous to us when we visit. The shelves are usually in good order and decently organized for the most part. But with the stores around it, especially that fantastic-looking Hallmark next door, CVS just fails that test when it comes to appearance. When I looked back at my recent photos of CVS, it didn't seem like it was bad as described. However, in reality, that's the way I feel. I would certainly not discourage anyone from using this CVS pharmacy. They are a professional outfit and should be able to assist people with their questions on medical issues, whether it be over the counter medication or pharmaceuticals. I've shopped at this Winn Dixie location several times in the past three years. I stopped going for…read moreabout a year or so as the location near 295 on Beach Blvd was renovated so it was an overall nicer store. But I recently noticed while driving by the shopping center that this location has been renovated now as well. Plus it is the closest store to my house. I stopped in to prepare for a weekend house guest. I was disappointed the BOGO blackberries were out of stock. But I still picked up some fruit. Another disappointment was the deli was closed. However they had pre-sliced a few bags of lunch meat in a cooler in front of the deli counter ready to grab and go. I was in the store about 45 minutes. I asked for assistance once with finding the salsa. I was directed to the correct aisle and then I was ready to check out. They also had the Riesling on sale that my friend likes to drink. So I picked her up a couple of bottles. Check out was fast and efficient. There were several BOGO deals so I purchased more than I originally planned LOL. But that seems to always happen at the grocery store;)
