I don't go to Walgreens that often but when I need stuff quickly like today, I come here. I needed contact lens solution and Walgreens is only a couple of miles away from my home. Every time I go I always say I should come back more often. Walgreens has some interesting finds. Today I picked up a few snacks while I was there. I will continue to visit this Walgreens. I think we as a collective society are just so tired of the nonsense. Feels like these companies have created so many tricks to try and take your money. Went in for a water bottle and got so excited that there was one for $5! Then I got to the counter and it rang up as $10. Turns out the BIGGER water bottle was the cheap one and they of course had none in stock. Make it make sense...how in the 33oz bottle more than half the price of the 28oz bottle?? This is my go-to Walgreens located around the corner of my house. I mainly go here for the Photo Center because I like to print pictures or make speciality items. For Valentine's Day, I made my two best friends and my husband a photo puzzle for about $20. I was trying to Think of original gift ideas but could not think of one until I stumbled upon the specialty items Walgreens Photo Center had to offer. I made my best friends photo puzzles of their favorite wedding photos. Shipping and Handling was less than $4 dollars and I had them shipped to my two best girlfriends located in Virginia and Utah. It got their just in time for Valentine's Day! I also made my husband a picture photo puzzle and put it in his Valentine's Day care package since we were able to be together (due to him being deployed). He later told me it was his favorite Valentine's Day gift. A gift that I gave myself for Valentine's Day is a custom made pillow with my husbands face on it! I call it my "husband pillow". My husband is active duty in the military so he always away from home for long periods of time. I made a pillow with his face on it so I can snuggle with my "husband pillow" at night. It cost me about $28 dollars to make and the pillow is fairly large (perfect size to snuggle with). I didn't have to spend extra on shipping this item to me since I could pick it up in store once it was ready. I made all orders online (which I prefer to do since I have a toddler who's very fussy). It was easy to maneuver and use their Photo Center website! I shared a picture of my husband pillow with my family and his family and they got a good laugh. I can't help that I miss and love my husband. Finally, when my husband came home from his mission and saw the pillow replica of him, he laughed and texted me immediately telling me it make him feel so loved and missed! Thanks Walgreens for making deployment a little less dreadful. read more

Today I tested positive for Flu at Walgreens McCormick rd. So far I have been shuffled to another store, asked to join a virtual call which did not work but I was charged for it, and now I am back at McCormick while they figure out how to prescribe Tamiflu. Terrible experience. Should have gone to CVS. I have been standing off and on for more than an hour. read more

For me, any pharmacy I go to has to be stocked with the things I use so when I found my closest Walgreens was not up to par with my demand, I was sent to this one to get what I needed. Needless to say, this location is bigger (in my opinion) than my old one, plus it seems to have much more to offer. It looks and feels cleaner and brighter when I walk in this one. The entrance is inviting and there aren't a bunch of displays or products making me feel claustrophobic. The aisles are spacious and there is room to move, while everything is clearly marked as well. I always notice associates working diligently on stocking or organizing shelves and there seems to be at least two managers on the floor most times while I'm walking around. The pharmacy staff is very kind and helpful and I have never had a problem with them telling me my medication was unavailable. If there was a problem with my insurance, they've always been kind enough to let me know so that I am not waiting there for a long time for nothing. Overall, I might just stick to this location, even though it is out of the way because I feel better when I'm at this one. Makes no sense to continue going to the old one when I know this location is well-stocked, has the medications I need, and just feels like an overall better experience. read more

It always works out in a pinch. Typical Walgreen. I usually go in maybe once a month or so. I have a Walgreen card and have saved quite a bit on some purchases. This store is not very busy when I go in. Good thing since there are only a couple of employees there when I have gone in. Pretty clean and organized for the most part. I will continue to go here. This Walgreens pharmacy is the worst! Terrible customer service. I had to pick up prescriptions for my daughter- the pharmacy tech was incredibly rude. She didn't bother to tell me that the most important prescription wasn't in the bag. When I turned right back around to go pick up - she told me at that time that she would have it for me tomorrow because the pharmacy was closed and that I could have go to 24 hour Walgreens or come back because they can't take 2 minutes to put the prescription in the bottle. You would thinkk that since I was still in the parking lot they may make some accommodations for medicine. The people at the Pharmacy at this location and the website are fantastic. I called my doctor to get a refil on my Chantix somking medication and they kept on transfering me to a voice mail so I would leave a message. Well 5 days passed and my doctor did not call in the prescription. I went to the pharmacy and spoke one of the people behind the counter and she advised me to go online and set up an account and I could have Walgreens request the medications for me. I went home and did what she advised. That was at 6pm last night and I get a call today from both my doctor and Walgreens stating my prescription is ready. Thank you Walgreens. My original reason for the first visit was to print out sone photos. The woman who staffs that area is a saint. She patiently led me through the steps and voila success! While the prints were doing what ever they do I took a spin around the store and was impressed in some areas and not too much in others. I am only going to buy drinks or junk food here as an impulse buy. Same goes for flimsy tube tops that would never contain the "Girls". Oh and no plants. What I will buy is anything to do with cosmetics, hair or nail care, and they have a wonderful assortment of the major brands. Store is very clean and well organized. If I was not so lazy I would take the time and transfer my prescription meds here. The beauty of Walgreens, no matter where you are in the USD if you run out of meds just pop into the nearest WG's and get it filled. Yep their computers are actually linked. What a concept, more chain pharmacies could benefit from this and so could their coustomers. read more

Well let me start by saying that this is the Walgreens that I frequent, sometimes every other day as I am a smoker. The people their may or may not know my name but I'm quite sure they know my face. All the workers are friendly and welcoming but today just blew my mind. Even though the cashier was friendly, she was very deceptive and that scares me. Here is my story...I stopped by Walgreens as I often do on my way home to buy cigarettes, I asked for 5 packs, there were only two visible so I asked the girl if she had to open a new box, can I have all five from the same box she said sure, as she took the two that was left with her, she asked me if I wanted a bag and I said yes, What she didn't pay attention to was the new carton all had special offers on them, so she slipped the two old ones in with the ones from the new box, it was all so deceptive and I just watched her as she carefully try to pull this off. If there was a problem with giving me the cigarettes all from the same carton, she should have said no, not pretend to do it thus making me look like the idiot you just made a fool of. Before I knew it I had tossed the receipt, otherwise I would have just returned them all and got my products from someplace else. A customer should never leave a store, especially one that that go to regularly, and feel like they've just been tricked, by someone who smiles at them and says "Thank You have a nice day" There have been other times when they have charged me the wrong price for things and I would just let it go because every time I checked my receipt something was wrong, like I said sometimes I just kept going because I didn't want to look like the problem customer that was always coming back for every little thing because number 1, I didn't like the fact that if I used my card, I would have to wait 24 to 48 business hours to see the money back on my card. What if that was all I had? and it was budgeted out, now someone has to wait another day or two t get paid, not because I screwed up, but because the price that you set, is not the price that I was charged. Then everyone is looking at me for holding up the line and it becomes a bit embarrassing. I didn't mean for this review to be this long, but this is what happens when you continue to just let things go and hope they get better the next time. I do want to say for the record that everyone that I have ever come in contact with at this store is very friendly and very sweet, but if deception is your game, your friendly smile and your kind words mean nothing. I don't know if people actually read these things or if it is someplace to complain, either way I hate the way I felt when I left your store today. I really want to stress, that I spend A lot of money at this store, I just don't want to feel stupid for doing so. read more
