This was convenient and proper way to get rid of expired or prescriptions no longer needed. Additionally the store has had a facelift. It's been awhile since I'd been inside. The CVS minute clinic is right in front of the Pharmacy and plenty of space. The store has more lighting as well. The layout is improved.

At Albers, they quickly transferred over my prescriptions from that other place, and had them filled almost before I knew it! Very friendly and efficient- I look forward to giving them all of my pharmacy business from now on. The location may be a little hard to find, but that is the only negative. This is the type of pharmacy that you want to use when you have chronic health issues that require knowledgable pharmacy staff, as well as doctors. Update 5/2013: Albers now has a total of three locations. Also, I reiterate my praise for all of the staff, not just the Pharm.D.'s - they truly have an operation that runs as smoothly as any in town, and better than most. Extremely helpful, and I believe that they can be competitive on price if you are without insurance. Specifics on that would be inappropriate; however an inquiry can be worth your time!

It's kind of odd, there's another similar grocery store literally a block north of here, and that one is pretty great overall. This one is layed out poorly, busy, and again I've been here on several one off times looking for various things and I always end up empty handed. Additionally their parking lot, sandwiched in the busy Brookside shops between Meyer and 63rd, is always chaotic. Cars whip through it despite it being pretty small and heavily trafficked. This ain't it, as the kids say. Find me at any other neighborhood stores but rarely here.
