But boy, was I in for a shock! I strolled through the front doors and entered what can only be described as a gastronomic wonderland. Forget five-star restaurants; Quik Trip should have a galaxy next to its name! The air was thick with the tantalizing aroma of hot pizza, fresh pretzels, and all manner of fried goodies. It was as if the culinary gods had descended upon this gas station and declared, "Let there be flavors!" As I ventured further into this temple of tastiness, I stumbled upon the land of the roller grill. Here, the hot dogs were a siren's call, beckoning me with their plump, golden-brown allure. I loaded up on enough dogs and sausages to make even a competitive eater blush. I was in doggy heaven! The rolling grill was a masterpiece. I gazed upon an endless array of choices, Jalapeño Cheddar Smoked Sausages, the Steak & Cheese Taquitos, corndogs, Buffalo Chicken Bites, with Cheese, egg rolls and the safe go to of the basic hot dog. any choice you make will surely talk to you belly latter. (they sell Tums and Rolaids just for that purpose). they are missing out on a cross sell promotion if you ask me. And what's this? The crunch was music to my ears. Just when I thought I'd reached the peak of my culinary expedition, I arrived at the frozen delights section. Now they are just another elitist corporation treating hard working folk like they aren't even human. My son was diagnosed ASD and my husband notified his boss (David) that our responsibilities toward our son and his treatment would require Casey's to be understanding of appointments and time. David threatened his job. He has repeatedly threatened my husband's job if he wasn't at the store 24/7 to cover every shift for every staff member that has quit because of David's demands on them. He told my husband to leave our 4 year old autistic child alone at home and get to work to cover. It wasn't "his problem". David threatened my husband's job if he didn't work open to close back to back to back until it was no longer safe for my husband to drive. My husband got in an accident coming home from work after that exact abuse and we paid nearly 1000$ is repairs to the car after. Thank god he's still alive. My husband asked over and over to step down to a smaller position so he could help with our son's needs (autism is considered a severe medical issue) and was denied without a valid reason being given. David has refused to work with us to get proper FMLA paperwork on file and has chosen to give my husband a final warning for a bogus accusation. All of this is documented. And all of this has witnesses. I've also spoken to several other customers and family of employees. Things are just as bad if not worse across Davids district. Several others have sent complaints to corporate but nothing is being done. No improved conditions for staff and continued shortages because people refuse to be treated poorly for long. To everyone shopping at Casey's: put the blame where it belongs. It's not on employees in the stores. Better workplaces make for full staff. Full staff means the food is available and the shelves stocked. Our experience is a symptom of David's gross mismanagement.

I had never perused their coffee before and I was SHOCKED! They have so many wonderful brews to choose from and the employees are SO helpful and friendly! They even have a "Skinny Vanilla Cappucino" in their machine. ummm what?!!!! I've never seen that anywhere else! Ususally you have to choose between sugar free or fat free, or go to starbucks haha! Needless to say, I have been in this 7-11 every single morning since. They also have an awesome app. Just scan it on each visit and you can save money with coupons/punch cards and other things! Aside from that, this is is a super standard QT in the best ways. You've got solid food options, it's clean, and getting gas is a breeze. All in all I'm sure I'll be back, but I'll probably prioritize stopping here if I'm already on the right side of the road.

The gas is usually at least a few cents cheaper than other stations nearby, and it's easy to pay at the pump with a credit card. You can also use rewards points from Price Chopper here. The staff is CRAZY nice. Like you can't believe how cool they are. I've been there at 7am & 11pm and every time in between, and I've never had bad service. The drink and snack selection is huge.
