I am with John H. My experience are generally good. The Pharmacy staff know me by name and have always worked with me when something goes wrong with a prescription, change in meds dosage, etc. I receive vaccines in the store, and the experience is good. It's a high volume pharmacy and small store with limited staff. The staff at the front are generally pleasant & helpful, especially my pain point, coupons that don't scan. The checkout machines like to take breaks a lot, which cause staff a bit of headache. read more

Worst Customer Service Ever!!! I actually searched this CVS because it was close to my job. I was never so disappointed! at the Non Service I received from a so called cashier!!! I approached a woman who was actually sitting at the photo lab to inquire about how to receive my ExtraCare card discount... from the moment I spoke with her I instantly thought to myself I don't think she likes her job. Boy was I right...I attempted to use the self service debit/credit automated machine to apply my discount but could not find my card so I diligently tried to cancel the transaction but could not So I pushed HELP alert ..it rang & rang with No response ! I then decided to use cash/debit machine ,while changing machines a customer came in store and was startled by the cashier who was actually behind the register by this point...she actually sat there while the Help Alert was going off the entire time. She eventually came to shut off alert .As she was canceling my previous transaction I was at the other machine attempting to apply the discount but the cash/debit machine was not applying the discount just giving the option to pay .The woman kept saying "it's in there" but that was it!! I did not want to pay full amount so I stood there trying to access the discount again & again .. All while another customer was in line to use the same machine.The whole time the cashier didn't try to help me nor the lady in line as I pushed the Help alert once more.!! Frustrated I just left the store & never used my discount which was the reason I came in the first place!!! I did find a Better CVS that the staff was much more accommodating! Went to the CVS minute client on Sunday morning and was seen quickly. The nurse practitioner was very attentive and kind. I picked up my prescription following the appointment without any trouble. The pharmacist was quick to answer my question about the medication being prescribed. read more

Yet another really bad CVS pharmacy! NO ONE IN LINE, I am the only one there and they said they would get with me in a minute. Two people were on there phones, one was putting away meds and then the pharmacist. The prescription was sent hours before and they still had not filled it and I had to wait another 20 min.i think CVS must hire the absolute worst employees. Pharmacy keeps calling my doctor to renew a prescription that I haven't been on for six months. The doctor is confused as to why I want to renew a medication I'm no longer on. Then after talking to the doctor, the pharmacy texts me and says I have to see the doctor to renew my prescription. WHAT??? I have asked, begged, and pleaded for them to stop contacting my doctor and myself constantly for the last six months for a medication I'm no longer taking. They always say they took the medication out of the system, but they do not. Also, I agree with the others that many of the employees are rude and couldn't care less about their customers. read more

I would give this store a zero star if I could! I have been a CVS customer for a good 20+ YEARS!!! The one in Medford, NJ on Stokes Rd. are are pleasant as they can be, always a kind word, take the time to get to know the customers/patients they see on the regular, always knew my name and had something kind to say! The CVS in Las Vegas on W Russell and Fort Apache, same, for the five years I lived there, the young people working the pharmacy counter were always extremely helpful, especially when I lost my job due to downsizing and lost my insurance, they went above and beyond to always look for the best coupon for my meds always remembered my name. They were so pleasant to deal with I did something I never do, took them a large cookie/candy tray at Christmas before relocating back to the east again. They were so thankful, they work their butts off and never receive a thank you. Now this one in King of Prussia, EVERYONE IS RUDE, NASTY, NEVER a kind word, don't dare ask them any questions they can't be bothered, speak down to everyone in a very condescending attitude. One time I was behind an older gentleman, actually not much older than me but he was confused and had questions. The woman behind the counter was very nasty to him, I asked her "are you having a rough day? In a bad mood? Woke up on the wrong side of the bed?" She stated NO and yes in a very nasty tone, I'm SO sorry if we are taking up your time, BUT this is your JOB, WE PAY YOUR SALARY!! "then why are you treating him so nasty? He has legitimate questions, questions you have answers to and you are being rude and nasty to him!" She walked away! Yesterday I called CVS to fill one of my RX's on hold, they told me it was backordered but to call Walgreens next door, they have it and we can transfer, so I did. Walgreens was having phone issues, they could take a call but they couldn't call out said have CVS fax the script so I did. Today CVS says they transferred it, Walgreens doesn't have it. I verified the fax # they said yes you gave CVS the correct fax #. CVS was again very nasty to me, telling me they transferred it, when I asked which fax # she would not tell me but hung up on me. I worked on this fiasco for a day and a 1/2. Now I am without my antibiotic for a recurring lung infection and no help. Do I have time to obtain another script because CVS botched their one and only job? NO! I have responsibilities and people counting on me! I didn't feel good at work today, should have stayed home but I take my responsibilities very serious, and I could have taken out on my teams today because I feel like crap, but it isn't their fault so I keep going. CVS has ONE job, to fill RX's and service the customers who pay their salary's and they botched it. I work in healthcare, have for 45 years, I would NEVER nor would I allow any of my many, many employees to EVER treat a patient in the manner the people at this CVS ALWAYS do. To hell with you CVS, you just lost another customer from this household! My husband left you and my grown children have left you they couldn't understand why I stayed as long as I did. I stayed out of loyalty to the others who have helped me over the years of doing business with them. I can't and won't say in this review what I really think of them because YELP would not post the review, that's how bad my experience is with this CVS and YES I will be notifying CVS corporate, not that it will help or they will do anything but it will make me feel better even if all they get is an arse chewing. Most of the people who work at this CVS pharmacy are foreign females, I have worked with foreign females they have a larger right of entitlement attitude than any millennial does, you are in my country! I hope it makes you feel like the big man on campus when you treat an American woman with a total lack of respect and decency. I gave you a year, a year to hopefully change the way you treat the people who pay your salaries to help you pay your bills. Shame on the entire employee base at the CVS in King of Prussia on Henderson. I will never step foot in this store again!!! As I tell my employees, our patients can go anywhere for their treatment, they have chosen us, that is a huge responsibility, to the patient and to the business. Store is frequently very busy and understaffed. Otherwise, it is a typical CVS. The pharmacy is awful. Huge lines, very slow, and they do not check their voicemail frequently to retrieve phoned in prescriptions. I get prescriptions filled at another nearby pharmacy which is always empty. The Minute Clinic has been fine when I've used it, but usually has a 30 to 60 minute wait. I'm more likely to go to one of the doc in the boxes nearby for a few more dollars to see an actual doctor and usually have less of a wait. read more

CVS pharmacy has the worst customer service including their corporate head quarters feed back division. The lack of proficiency, organization, & communication results in excessive wait times to get a prescription filled. The pharmacist's give vaccine administration priority over filling prescriptions and the corporate head quarters supports this practice. As a result I was informed a 6 hour wait for in store pick up for my medication to be a standard of service, or "transfer my prescription to another store because they were to busy to accommodate me." This pharmacy is horrible and the feed back support is mediocre. read more

This pharmacy sets a new standard for incompetence. Prescription turned in at 3PM, told to return in 1 hour, arrived at 7PM, not ready, told to wait, 45 minute pass, and nothing. I finally ask what's going on and Mimi told me they can't find the prescription. To add insult to injury a prescription that had been filled numerous time for the copay is said to not be covered. I went to get passport photos and they did them incorrectly costing me $200 in passport fees and I missed my trip because the passport could not be done in time. Things have always been good for me here. But, the other reviews and comments here are largely valid too. This pharmacy just seems to do more business than the other ones nearby - and there is less space in the store to work with. I suggest everyone try the CVS app to really speed things up with prescription management, pickup and payment. It's a good app and it is always improving. Plus, you can actually speak to a support person who will actually fix things if they get jammed up. When my turn comes at the pharmacy lately, I have been getting done in only a minute or two. The pharmacy and front end staff always recognize me and are professional and nice ... and have been at the store for a while now. I get the right drugs when the app tells me they'll be ready. I don't want to be too much of a softie with this review, but, I do want to be sympathetic to people in line in front of me who are older or sicker or less familiar with Rx mechanics than I am ... and to the pharmacy staff who must have to deal with hundreds of us every day ... all in the context of our US pharmaceutical / insurance systems and the big company they work for. I used to find this pharmacy "serviceable" and convenient. However, I now find it to be just the opposite and the customer service has become awful. Last time I was there, there was an issue with my script and they staff was downright rude. After that, I will never go back. This review is not about CVS itself, it is about the pharmacy there. I don't blame the staff at the pharmacy I blame CVS for not hiring higher functioning pharmacy support staff. Thats not to say I feel that way about the pharmacists and all supporting staff but most. Yes, I think they need more help in the pharmacy but some of the people they have already are so slow and that just doesn't work in such a frequented pharmacy. There is is always a line. Always. Short story: Pharmacy: terrible, 1 star; Retail store: average, 3.5 stars Long story: The retail part of this CVS is like that of any other drugstore: a mix of candy, magazines, toiletries, etc. arranged in aisles. Recently, I've noticed much improved attentiveness of the staff, which I welcome. (3.5 stars) The actual pharmacy, on the other hand, is a disaster. Among other things, we've had the pharmacy call us to say that an order is ready, only to be to find that our order is in fact not ready when we arrive. Lines are often long. I called to have one of my prescriptions refilled (for migraine headache). This was around noon and I set the pick-up time to 1:45. I was currently experiencing the first onset of a migraine, hence wanting to get my medication. I stopped by the pharmacy on my way to work, leaving myself enough time to wait in line (waited about 10 mins). It was now 2:10. The pharmacist told me that my prescription wasn't ready, that it would be about 15-20 mins. I explained that I was currently experiencing a migraine and was on my way to work and didn't have time to wait. (Again, my prescription was supposed to have been filled by 1:45) She spoke to another pharmacist, explained my predicament to her, and came back to tell me "sorry, 15-20 mins". I work in customer service so I understand that things can get backed up. I really do. But I was asking politely and I really desperately needed the medicine. I left without it because I had no other choice. Went to work with a slight migraine that evolved into a pounding migraine by the end of the day. I don't think it would have been too much to just fill my prescription quickly so I didn't have to experience that pain. Really rude. I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

The employees at this pharmacy are terrible. I've been coming here monthly to pick up a prescription but the worst interaction I've had was with Mimi last month when my allergies were acting up and I had a head cold. I waited in that awful line and when I finally got to the register, I asked for Allegra d. Mimi walked over to the wall where these drugs were and proceeded to shout across the room asking if I wanted 12 or 24 hour. As I had a head cold, hearing was difficult. I was congested which was the whole reason I was there. When I asked her to repeat herself she sighed loudly and slapped her thigh as though this were some huge inconvenience. (Why not just walk back and speak to me like a person instead of shouting at me like a dog?) I could hear customers in line behind me gasp. She is rude and impatient and I dread coming to pick up my prescription because of her (I work and live right around this area so I'd rather not take my prescription somewhere else.) I had a similar interaction with her just yesterday. Waited in the huge "pick up" line and was told my prescription discount card didn't apply this time. I figured it had expired as this was my first visit of 2016 and the gentleman (who I've seen mentioned in other posts as being slow and chatty and is most definitely a contributor to the long line issue) sent me over to another register with good ole Mimi again to check my card. After a lot of typing she told me (in her usual short and rude manner) that it had indeed expired and that I would need to get in the other line AGAIN and wait to pay full price. Why couldn't she ring me up at the register we were standing at?? Basically, I can't wait until I move and can take my business elsewhere. No clue how Mimi is a team lead. And I think Bill is the guy's name.... Nice, but sooooo slow! read more

I would avoid this CVS location at all costs. I went in to pick up my son's prescription and was surprised by owing a co-pay. Obviously not CvS' fault but rather a long standing issue with my insurance company. I explained this to the cashier and she seemed like she wanted to help, but she looked to a coworker named Anna for guidance. Anna got nasty with us saying I was in my own, I had to deal with my insurance company. Not even am offer to rerun it based on the issues I described. This alone frustrated me, but as I called my insurance company and lingered by the pharmacy, I listened to Anna talk down to customer after customer. I couldn't believe her behavior. It is because of her my family of four will be takin our business elsewhere. It doesn't help that they store is a bit outdated, but that's easily forgivable with a bit of kindness. read more

Worst pharmacy ever. We just moved to the area and it took 2 days for them to transfer my prescriptions over from another CVS. I was also told that the pills the other CVS had been providing me (for the past year) were incorrect and not what my doctor prescribed. As a result I was given another prescription that cost $45 more. I looked the prescriptions up online when I got home and found them to be identical, so I'm pretty sure this debacle was the result of a pharmacist on a power trip. Also the cashier is a super weird dude. He's extremely slow grabbing prescriptions and goes through your OTC items checking expiration dates before ringing things up. He also makes some really awkward small talk that does nothing but add to the delay. I'm sure the long lines are because of this guy. Since there are no other CVS's in the area, I think I will be taking my prescriptions to Target pharmacy from now on. read more

This is honestly the worst CVS pharmacy I've ever been too. Unfortunately, it's the closest one to my home. Literally, 3 of the past 4 prescriptions I've needed from them (within the past 3 months) they've called to tell me they did not have in stock and could give me enough pills to get me through a couple days but that I would have to wait and come back for the rest. The medications that I take are NOT uncommon so this has been very frustrating. On top of that, 75% of the time, the pick up line is at least 10 people deep and the pharmacists always seem frazzled. I would never go here again if it wasn't the closest one to my home. However, this week I went to one near work and it was so much better so I am going to try to stick with that one. I have been a CVS pharmacy customer my entire life and honestly can't believe the disarray that comes out of the KOP CVS. DON'T go here if you don't have to. read more

I laughed when I read the other reviews because I thought maybe I just had bad luck. My only gripe is also with the pharmacy. They aren't the most polite. The lines, as everyone said, are long and slow to progress. They ran out of my medication and I was forced to go without for 7 days and after they finally got it in stock it still took over 24 hours for them to fill just that ONE prescription. Don't bother asking any questions. You'll just be directed to "that window over there" where you'll wait in line for an hour. read more

I have had quite a few negative experiences here. Majority of the employees are not very friendly. Twice I have gone to pick up my automatic refill prescription and when I got there it was not ready even though I got a PHONE CALL saying it was ready for pick up. Waste of my time and my lunch. This past week topped all my experiences and I am changing CVSs ASAP. I called them two weeks ago because it was that time again and my automatic refill was due. Typically I get a call saying your prescription is ready for pick up. I did not for whatever reason, So I called to ask kindly if it was going to be ready as I did not receive the call. The employee was extremely short and rude saying "WE'RE WORKING ON IT" I said "oh great, when will it be ready?" , "AN HOUR" then she hung up. I understand they are busy, but better customer service would be appreciative. I was busy so I didn't pick the prescription up that day. I get a call the next day that says the prescription was ready for pick up. I get a SECOND call the following day saying it is ready. I go during my lunch to pick it up. I have to wait 7 mins in line. Then I get to the front and the employee says "You do not have a prescription ready". I assure her I spoke with an employee who confirmed it was ready two days ago and received an additional two calls to let me know it was ready. She says she is not able to look at my profile that I will have to stand in another line and wait for a different employee who can look it up. I go to the other line and the lady says "well, your prescription expired that's why we didn't refill it. Your dr needs to send a new one" I said "I am a bit confused as I spoke with someone who said it was ready and got two phone calls confirming as well?? If this is the case why was this not communicated to me? This is why I called you guys to confirm & prevent this from happening?" She doesn't say anything to my comment, but then starts typing and says "you know what I can use this one she sent over awhile ago, do you know what I am saying?" I said "not really, but great." I again asked to confirm it was on automatic refill for every three months as my dr had requested before. She said "yes let's get you set up with text message notifications so there is not any confusion, what's your phone number?" I reminded her that they have my phone number and called me, not sure how a text would help anything. She was rude, never apologized for the mishap and asked for my number. I gave it to them even though they have it. Then I had to wait twenty mins in my car wasting my lunch. They texted me saying it was ready, then I had to get in line AGAIN.. Another 5-8 mins wasted. I never got an apology or thank you for your patience. I even asked if I can switch to a different CVS in Malvern and they said I would have to go there to do that. Pretty sure they could have sent everything to Malvern. I will not be going back here because their customer service is non existent. read more
