I'm sure this a busy Target but whenever I happen to shop here, the shelves are always in stock and it never completely wiped out! The staff here is very friendly and everyone wore a mask! Showroom of this store is closed until September, 2022. You can ask the front counter to get things, if you know what you want, but you can't browse nor look at merchandise. I came to buy a stereo system. No way to touch or listen to the equipment. When I spoke with the national call center yesterday and told them that I had difficulty seeing just what equipment was available in the Plymouth Meeting, PA store, they assured me that most items were in stock and I could just go and look. Conveniently located, and a good staple spot to go for anything needed. The app is great for enhancing the shopping experience - showing where to find things, and easily getting discounts on items. All their stores are pretty big, and this is no exception. I'm usually there in the evening, and there aren't usually too many floor staff walking around then. This is usually fine, since we know where we're going, but last time, we were looking for something different. That's when I noticed how few people are there, and we used the app to find where we should go. At least the app helped out. read more

This Target, despite being 40 minutes from where I live (20 if I decide to take the Turnpike) is one of my go to Target's and it helps that it is a part of the Metroplex, one of my favorite shopping centers of all time. When I went to Montco, I would come here in between classes if I never needed anything, taking the back way and going in the side entrance off Gallagher Road. There is plenty of parking for this Target in front and on the side of the building, which helps alot too. While I do shop in the food section and other sections as needed, my main section is always the entertainment section. There is a decent amount of DVDs, books and games at fair prices, my favorite section is unfortunately the smallest of the bunch, the CD section. This is perhaps my biggest incentive to come back is always the Target Exclusive CDs that they carry. It's all new releases, but that's what I go for when I buy my CDs here, i am always shocked when they carry an artist I thought they wouldn't and would have had to order online. One of my only gripes with this Target is unlike other Targets I have been to like the one in Montgomeryville (which is closer and another one my my staple Targets) is that they only have self scan on one side of the store and not both, which is where I usually check out. It's not that much of a walk if I forget to park on that side of the store, but it would be better to have them on both sides. I do enjoy coming here regardless, and now that I saw they had a wine/beer section that just opened, it'll be another incentive to come back!! read more

This is more of a review of their portrait studio. We had scheduled an 11:30 appointment on a Saturday morning. With the upcoming holidays, you can imagine the place was busy. When we arrived to check-in, they said they were running a little behind. As it turns out, a "little behind" translated to 90 minutes! Why the heck they would schedule appointments 10 minutes apart is beyond me, especially during a time period that many families are taking holiday pictures. Lucky for Target, we used our time to knock out some Christmas shopping while we were there. Also fortunately this is a Super Target with food, as my kids got hungry! Once we entered the studio, the photographer was great and we never felt rushed, even though they were running so far behind. In the end, we got some really cute pictures. This was actually our second visit here for pictures as were happy with the way they turned out the first time. Due to the long wait, they gave us a number of free items plus waived the sitting fee. While I would have rather taken my pictures at my scheduled time, I was appreciative of the various free stuff they threw in. It takes about a week for your pictures to come in and everything turned out great. Be prepared though...the lab will print additional portraits for you to buy on the spot. They are normally $10/print and the lab printed four additional prints, but they were offering them to me for 50% off. Lucky for me, the lady accidently dropped all of my Christmas cards on the floor, so I wound up getting all the additional prints for free! Yup, this is a nice Target and we do like their portrait studio, but if you are booking during a holiday period, I would suggest trying to get one of the first appointments or plan on a significant wait. Hopefully Target will smarten up and not book appointments 10 minutes apart! read more

Normally I don't have issues with Target. It's cheap, we get it, we move on, right? Today I stopped in to get some anti-freeze to keep in my trunk and grabbed a Cosmo mag while I was at the check out. I didn't think any thing of the total until later when I was unpacking and took a quick glance at the receipt. I was getting ready to toss it when I realized the price on the mag and the price on the receipt (Wow, Cosmo got expensive! ....wait....)were two different ones...and they had charged me more than the mag was being sold for! So I immediately took it back to the store and asked for a refund. The 3 stars is for the fact that they returned it with no issues, but I had to drive the 15 minutes back to the store to return it. Turns out they had charged me almost a full extra dollar (with tax, etc) than the magazine's actual price! I think I'll stick to grocery stores for my leisure reading from now on; they offer 10% off the sticker price usually! read more

I JUST finished burying another Target and it made me think that I've never reviewed this place. This Target is by far my favorite! If I could blueprint the way a store should be run it'd be this place. The prices are always cheap enough to justify the trip from the city. Seriously, you'll save more than the busfare/gas even if you're only buying a few items. Plus they have that thing that so many places seem to have forgotten about, CUSTOMER SERVICE! Seriously! I don't need my butt kissed when I shop but smiling and helpful employees will always bring me back in, not to mention all the employees have character! Just tonight I got help on my fantasy football draft from Kyle and Jen, shared a joke with Akira (coolest name EVER), and the cashiers are always friendly and engaging. At checkout my cashier convinced me to download a coupon app and saved me a fair amount right then and there. Be sure to remind the cashiers about 5 cents off for bringing your own bag. Target owes me about 20 bucks in forgotten bag discounts haha. If you get a target card you can get 5% off your total every purchase plus on occasion even deeper discounts. The website also offers free shipping if you pay with the RED card. I own stock so I guess I'm bias but it just seems like a no brainer. The selection is always great, working to get new items into stores and fully stock the items you need. I will say that their "clearance" items aren't very clearance worthy... maybe they should mark the items "moderately cheaper" but then us impulse buyers wouldn't spend so much. As I was walking out of the store, I noticed my Black History Month tray was broken. A lovely associate walking by said he could help me. Upon bringing me over to the customer service desk, Carly begins to tell him "there's a whole line of people, she should have waited in line." After the associate walked away, I did let Carly know I did not intentionally jump the line and the associate was just really trying to help me as he noticed my stuff was broken as I walked out the door. I did not appreciate her speaking about me while I was standing right there. I am thankful to the associate for his help. Carly's actions were extremely rude and condescending. read more

Their curbside pickup is mostly great! Only downfall is that some high demand items are not available for curbside pickup. They are wonderful at brining your purchase to your car very fast. This may be because I leave the Target app open and I think they track you that way. There is a window of time that you will wait for them to get your order together, about 2- 4 hours. Depending on the day, mostly around two hours though. read more

This used to be my favorite Target in the area, but since the renovation, I am both frustrated and disappointed every time I go there. I feel the new layout is unorganized, and I find myself leaving the store empty handed as they always seem to be out of stock of staples. Additionally, every time I stop there the shelves are in disarray. They've completely eliminated about 2/3 of the array of both women's shoes and undergarments they used to carry, and why the entire front of the store is dedicated to women clothes, is beyond me. Something as simple as finding a white tank top now requires you to go on a hunt on the football field that is now the women's clothing department, whereas before, everything was relegated to a specific area. Being a women, I appreciate the large variety of clothes, but the way it is all organized (and the fact that they are typically out of a number of sizes) makes me not even want to put the effort into looking. Don't even make me start talking about the mess of a clearance section, which always looks like a hurricane has just hit. I do enjoy the fresh grocery section, but a lot of times the prices marked are incorrect when you go to checkout (I do enjoy the employees at the Self Checkout!). Plus, many of the produce items are also typically out of stock. I don't know if it is me, but I feel that they also eliminated some major makeup brands, and their home section is always in shambles. I am hoping that these are just growing pains, but for now, I take my Target shopping to KOP, as I feel they are always well stocked, I enjoy the layout much better, and the appreciate the great customer service I receive there. Update: I went back to this store recently. The other reviews are right. The shelves were bare. Another thing is the prices they have on the items hardly ever match what comes up when they ring you up at the register. The price is always considerably more than what was listed. This is a poorly ran store and I think people only go here because it is cheaper than the overpriced GIANTS food store that is in the same shopping plaza. read more

This time, my family was getting flu shots and we also needed to pick up several things. The pharmacists were so nice and and we were able to get our shots quickly. Then we headed over to the clothing section to buy some new socks and then we bought some Halloween decor. We were able to find everything easily and they had good signage. I went to the Starbucks and I got an iced peach tea lemonade. There was a long line, but the workers knew what they were doing and seemed to have it under control. My drink was really good and it tasted better then it would have at some of the Starbucks Locations. We got some Pizza Hut, and all of our food was great and the workers were friendly towards us. They make everything constantly so it's all fresh throughout the day. Overall it was a pleasant experience. The only negative was that some of the lines were long and some workers at checkout were not managing them well, however the person that checked us out was very friendly. read more

This is my favorite Target in the area. First off, it's huge. It's as big as a Target can get without being a Super Target containing a full super market. With the addition of the fresh market recently, this Target is perfect for most quick grocery needs as well now. The shelves are always well stocked so you can be sure you'll find what you need. Check out is quick and the whole store just feels clean and bright. I don't mind making the 15-20 minute drive out to this target to get better service and make sure I'm able to get everything I need. read more

This is the closest target to me and I frequent the store often. The store is generally very clean and organized. The cashiers are often helpful and friendly, but you'll definitely have to flag someone down and not wait for someone to assist you first. There are lots of sales and clearance items in every section of the store. My only gripe is the failure of mobile coupons to work at the registers. You can sign up for coupons to be sent to you via text around once or twice a month. But if they don't scan at the register, why bother signing up? read more

Other than being busy, I've never had a problem here. Sure there could be more open lanes, sure they could have the newest Oreos a day or two earlier so I can tell jealous friends, but we shop here to avoid Walmart. A friend of mine said prior to my child being born that Target will soon be you and the wife's date spot. He was absolutely right. We wind up here at least once a week, browsing for baby clothes (did you know babies grow fast?), little things, big things. The best part is they have everything. The prices are good, there are always sales (cartwheel app is helpful) and the employees at least try. At Walmart you have better prices on some things but the worst possible staff and a nightmare finding more than 1 register open, ever. You've seen that meme that says "I'll gladly pay a dollar more not to have to go to walmart"? True story. The amount of money we've saved on clearance baby clothes alone makes this worth every bit of 4 stars. Stopped by on Saturday and found chaos. Not only had Target just made the news for their credit card information scandal, but they also announced to the world that everything was 10%. Amidst this chaos, I was able to get fast assistance in the Apple section (near impossible on a good day) and make my purchase. I don't get to go to this Target often, but I like it. Also, I have found this Target is a few weeks behind other Targets. Say you like a dress in another Target, but decide to think about it and then go back to buy it but it is gone...usually this Target will still have it. read more

This is my favorite Target in the area. I sometimes go to the Exton one and the one off City Line Av but I'll go out of my way to go here. It's clean, bright and well stocked. This the best target in a 20 mile radius, and I'll tell you why! I had already thought this and go here over any closer Target, but then...Target swooped in and saved the day, yesterday, to be exact. For about a month, I had a gold iPhone 5s order in with Apple. It still hadn't shipped, even on the projected ship date. I received information from a coworker that the Target near him had all colors of iPhone 5s. So, I hopped on Target's website, and it indicated that all nearby stores had the gold 5s in stock. I thought...too good to be true! Even the Apple store doesn't have those, and I had been waiting for mine to ship for a month! So I called their mobile department, and the guys in that department were super duper helpful, efficient, and nice! I ended up canceling my order with Apple. The whole process - buying it and backing up my new phone with contacts, photos, etc. took a half hour, if that. Just awesome! Better than an AT&T store, that's for sure! Not to mention, actually having the phone in stock was a dream come true. You can definitely trust yourself to go to Target Mobile. They have the newest phones for the big carriers, and Ed & Isaiah are willing to help!! read more

I've been going to Target since I started college (they didn't build one near my parents' house until I was a college sophomore, so Philly Targets were my first) and this one has always been the standard bearer for me. It has a better food selection and usually has a better supply of everything. Once in a while I will stop in and a section will be depleted, but you can usually tell that it is about to be stocked (a cart or something will be sitting around with boxes ready to be un-packed). When I lived in West Philly, I would sometimes go out of my way to this Target over the one on City Line. Additionally, it's part of the Metroplex shopping center, which means it's almost one stop shopping for everything you need. It's clean and the service is almost always very quick (there is almost always someone whose sole job is to direct you to the shortest line and ensure things run smoothly up at the check-out). I have always preferred Target over Wal-Mart in general, so I'm glad I have one so close to my apartment. :) read more

This target has gone way downhill. People who work here don't seem to be too thrilled with having to be at work. Most of them seem miserable and unlike the KOP target no one is around to ask for help nor does anyone ever ask if they can help you! Also- shelves here never seem to be stocked. Just ordered a drink from the Starbucks. Had horrible service before so swore never to come back but I was thirsty so...why not just give them another shot? Employees have a very blasé attitude. I looked in their pastry display thinking of getting a snack but there was a fly happily sitting on the lemon loaf. I informed the cashier discreetly "FYI there's a fly in the pastry case". She looked at me and said "mm hmm, we know". Yes, confirmed my original opinion. Target employees should not wear the Starbucks logo. I love this Target. That's the plain and simple truth! As a resident of Ardmore, I like coming to this location because it's a pretty quick drive. The prices here for home decor items are much cheaper than a lot of the boutiques in my neighborhood. The store itself is huge, the selection of items they have is great, and they update their collections with the changing of the seasons. It is very well organized. The employees know where everything is and I have only rarely had problems finding things I needed. I am subtracting a star only because the parking lot is a stressful mess. There are always tons of people in this strip mall driving around like madmen. Other than that, I have no complaints! read more

The renovation looks great at this location , however they need to "renovate" their customer service. I came to pick up an order and happened to check if they had another item available. I was in the toy area and asked one of the employees to assist. She helped me for maybe 5 minutes and then said this area is a mess. Never offered to check in the back etc. I went to the front desk and asked if she could help. She called someone and then that person also said they couldn't help and yes the area is a mess!!!??? So, after all that time I figured I would get a Starbucks. Yes, this continues to get worse. The cashier had no clue how to manage taking orders and heating up food items. She asked the barista for help on adding cash to a Starbucks card and the barista rudely spoke with her. No one is happy and I'm shocked Starbucks is okay with this. read more
