The medication was also not the same. I always measure my medicine when I get it, I recommend everyone else do the same if you receive capsule forms because that is how I noticed the problem. It also felt like it was switched with a similar alternative. The effects were not the same. I tried calling and getting the situation fix however I was directed to call multiple numbers such as the manufacturer of the medication I was prescribed and I was given the runaround and the situation was never resolved or even looked into I do not recommend this place for anyone that is choosing to get medication filled I would suggest choosing a different pharmacy so You are not also blind sided like I was.

So while the car was charging, we popped into the convenience store. They have a good variety of items that one might expect from such a store - snacks, drinks, medicines, slushies, coffee and more. They also have a really nice selection of heartier food - hot fried chicken, cold deli sandwiches and wraps, and pizza. There is a very small seating area (4-5 seats) inside the store if you want to eat there. The bathrooms were very clean. The staff was friendly and efficient.

I've been going to Ameristop for well over 40 years since the 80's and after the 90's. So many…read moreyears. My aunt worked there when it was called Convenient. I haven't in days/weeks have been consistently sick. I get chronic pneumonia and Had Covid 5 times and who knows when I had the symptoms and didn't test me. I have several diagnoses and new ones. I have had 2 brain surgeries and more surgeries over the time. I live literally 1 minute exactly or tad bit under in driving time or 4 minutes walking time (I had walked up until a few years ago once in a while. I drove mostly & I'd walk and drive in snow to buy stuff (cigarettes, pop, food items, lottery etc so many days of the weeks. I went there well before I got married and moved a minute away. I'd go there from across town, when I moved out of state and would visit home. Then when I lived way out in the country, I'd go to Ameristop. I am NOT happy (nor are many here in Lancaster that a man I have heard who seems to be very rude and gives dirty/ strict & not making customers feel welcome. (Meaning the new owner who bought it). I may still go there if I really need to because of they are so close to my house and have a few things other places don't. I don't want to go to a store that the owner looks like he hates everyone and is not a welcoming type of person. I used to over most of my life loved going there. He needs to have his contract torn up and find another buyer. Maybe the long time employees could go in on buying it. Jay and the ex owner were great and made you feel very welcome. And everyone who worked there knew me by name and were always hoping I'd get well after every surgery. They'd offer to me to use a carry basket filled with pop home as they knew I'd bring it back. Ameristop that WAS my favorite store. They may lose many customers and lose money as well bc ppl will probably trickle down (as they will lose my business). Over the years I have spent so much money there. Unless it is a very important need and since they are close I'd go there. Otherwise they are losing most of my business since they have a not so welcome new owner. No personality, looks mean, looks like he doesn't like anyone, he doesn't NOT make ppl feel comfortable going there, where we all felt comfortable before with the ex owner and ex manager! We went there for the wonderful atmosphere & more. It has changed that quickly when Ravi took over. The girls and Jay and put smiles on customers faces and you could feel comfortable saying how you are doing. I've see where people don't want him there. Soon he will hire/ fire different people and I imagine he will cause long term employees to quit. Too bad all the employees & some other long time employees couldn't have gone on a shared ownership (bought it). I have had my health issues bad lately. After my last mini stroke, I have felt worse. My contorted face, mouth & eye is getting better. Haven't been in there for a little while. A family member told me what they observed of the new owner. I have been going there since it was called Convenient. I have spent so much money there over the years and always felt welcome. Sadly the local Ameristop has changed with the new franchisee man!!!! I had a panic attack when someone I know & another told me some stuff about the new franchisee and a very close relative was there when he was there how unwelcoming/ rude/ mean he seemed and more from a few very honest/ trustworthy ppl I know quite well. He said he would keep them, but a family member said they have a new employee. I bet he will fire them all over some time or run them out. We all really like the staff all these years. He is putting it out there he is hiring a lot more people. Now with what I have been told about the new owner I am 99.4% sure I will not go there anymore since he like that (not welcoming or anything). I may just to see if i it is still a terrible atmosphere since this guy took over, but that is probably all. It has always been like a 2nd home to me. Not now I guess. I wish all of the long time employees and some long term employees could have go in on it and bought it. I was always treated so well and Jay and some of the girls were always concerned about how I felt health wise and how I was after surgeries. The girls have always been wonderful. That man will be very strict and unkind. No sense of humor or make long term customers feel welcome or comfortable there. I used to feel like it was my second home. There is ample parking there, the check-in process was quick and efficient and the front desk team was very friendly. I had little to no wait to be seen. I was initially evaluated by a student who was thorough in her exam and questions. I was later seen by Dr. Morgan Marshall Murphy. Both of them were very professional and helpful as well as thoughtful in their questions and comments. I was prescribed medicine and sent home with detailed instructions. Overall the experience was a very good one. I will need my annual eye exam next year for contacts etc and i will return to Hermann & Henry.
