Love the staff and cashiers here! Everyone is always SUPER helpful! They always help me with the in-store coupons to ensure I get the best deals! My experience with the pharmacy is less than 4 stars, more like a 2. My dentist called in my prescription at 1pm. It's after 3pm and it's still not ready! It makes absolutely no sense that if I had the actual prescription and submitted it to them, it would take at most 30 minutes! This experience is making me want to look into a different pharmacy! Now I have to stand in the long line for pickup when I was here 30 minutes ago!!! I am planning on filing a formal complaint against the pharmacy after I leave the store. read more

Seems like this is an always busy CVS. Neat. If you've got Kaiser Permanente health insurance and are looking to schedule a Covid Booster for fall 2023, don't come here though. They won't take your insurance. Doesn't say that anywhere on the scheduling website either after googling "covid booster fall 2023". Also, ignore the check in text if you're getting a vaccine. Just go to the Pharmacy drop off section and talk to them there. They don't check that you did so on your phone. Poor signage, literally just 2 laminated pieces of paper by the pharmacy, about what to do for vaccines too. read more

The pharmacists on the evening staff are super helpful ( between 7 and late hours) and very knowledgeable! The quick stop medical staff. Hmmm not even trying but again ! The store needs. Absolutely the most horrible pharmacy. The line is ALWAYS long. Tuesday 10am or Saturday 11pm doesn't matter you'll have to wait an hour. They have 4 registers and ALWAYS only 1 technician doing orders. Why wouldn't they have all registers open, ESPECIALLY peak hours like when people get off work? I made a Covid-19 booster appointment online for this pharmacy. I received a text message hours before the appointment reminding me to come prepared and on time to the appointment. I left early in the morning and drove a substantial distance to the pharmacy, arriving 10 minutes early. When I arrived, the pharmacy was closed. I spoke with the pharmacist through the closed counter window. I explained that I had an appointment for a booster at that time. He said to come back in 4 hours. I explained that I had to go to my work and wanted to keep the appointment time. He invited me to come back that evening but warned that the wait time might be very long. I left and went to my work without a booster. While this particular pharmacist could have helped me, and probably should have done so, I believe that this incident is really more about the way CVS generally understaffs its pharmacies, underpays its pharmacists, and prioritizes profits over people. I will take my business elsewhere, with the caveat that some of their major competitors are no better. read more

They have great people there. They just need more more cashiers. The Pharmacy techs are great. the people that do back up work are great. Really appreciated the pharmacists at this location, working late on a Friday night to fill prescriptions and provide vaccinations.

Do not enforce mask mandate and social distancing. Been using this pharmacy because the convenience of being open 24 hours. They let a man not wearing a mask checkout his medication and the pharmacist expected me to use the same check out area without disinfecting. Had to personally request if they had disinfectant and even then he said he did not know where it is so I asked for alcohol spray and paper towels instead. Not cool. I wouldn't be surprised if this is a hotspot for the variants. read more

What a disgusting and horrible experience. My family signed up to get rapid covid tests at this location and were instructed to arrive ten minutes early and stay in the parking lot till we were called. I was never called. We tried reaching the minute clinic by phone and were never connected and when I went and knocked on the door after 30 minutes, the tester said we could not be tested because our time slot had passed. What a fucking joke. Just a stunning level of incompetence during a global pandemic. read more

The place is so convenient due to its close by me , I have been coming here since I was a child , however long lines and only ONE pharmacy tech!? And long lines in where children are getting upset and fussy from the long wait and line . Very disappointed, I will definitely not be returning. read more

Only issue I've ever had at this pharmacy are the long lines. The staff is wonderful, and they always have my meds ready for me every time. I have a chronic illness, and this CVS is the only pharmacy I've never had a problem at. Only flaw is the always long lines, but they do move pretty quickly. One time I had a person I needed immediately, and there were 14 people in line ahead of me. I was still out of the store in 20 minutes. This is my go to pharmacy from now on. read more

This post seems necessary after the multiple times I've dealt with the pharmacy staff here at CVS Langley Park. Sure the lines are long because it's in a popular area but the staff is always friendly - during the afternoon time there is Yohannes...? (an African gentleman who is a pharmacy tech - I'll update later if the name is incorrect) and in the evening, there is Dr. Yudelky, an overnight Pharmacist. It is always a pleasure to get these two because of their engaging and professionalism mannerisms. Dr. Yudelky is someone I would literally follow to another pharmacy because of how she is willing to educate patients, answer questions, and explain processes. She makes you feel comfortable and no judgements regardless of the questions you ask or the medication you are inquiring about. It is rare to find this and I appreciate the extra time that both of these individuals take each to make you feel welcome by stopping in on their shift. read more

This store is conveniently located when I am running errands. It isn't always possible to find help. Sometimes the only visible employee is the cashier behind the counter. The pricing machine/coupon printer doesn't always work at this location. I like the CVS buck program but other stores have more employees and working scanners. On this visit, the cashier was overwhelmed with just getting customers through the line. Since street parking isn't always possible, I don't go out of my way to stop here. read more

They tell you your prescription will be ready but it isn't given within a timely manner. If they say 30 mins, you may as well give them an hour. I have to sit in my hot car waiting for whenever they want to bag my meds. Thanks a lot. read more

CVS in Hillandale was out of a nerve pain medication that I have learned (the hard way) I need to control my pain. I called Langley Park, who not pleasantly took care of the transfer of my prescription, they had it ready within the hour. I am grateful that I will not have to suffer due to a lapse in dosage. read more

I was very sick. My doctor suggested I go to the Minute clinic at CVS to be tested for the flu. I called the Minute Clinic in Langley Park. But Langley Park doesn't answer there, it's a call center somewhere else. I explained the situation and I said that I need to do this today or it'll be too late to take the flu medicine. She told me that I could still go today. When I got there they had closed 10 minutes early. I asked to speak to the manager who let me talk to the very unpleasant nurse. She was obviously ready to go home. She had no empathy. I explained to both of them that if I call and I'm told that I can go to the store, that I should be seen especially since there were 10 minutes left! When I make the effort of crawling out of bed with a 103+ temperature and there is no Minute Clinic, that is bad bad customer service. The unpleasant nurse argued with me also!?! I'm sick. You're a nurse. Do your job! I was pretty peeved and said something unpleasant and left. I would never go to a Minute Clinic. You cannot call them directly!?! And you have to wait about 10 minutes on hold to go through various recordings to even talk to a person! If I hadn't had to do that, I probably would have been seen. I went to RightTime Medical Care instead. They are better, open later, nicer. Sadly I have to give them one star. 0 is not permitted. read more

Less than 8 hours ago, I stopped by the CVS to purchase around 8 food/drink items and two non food items. I had a concern about one of the items being in stock. Fortunately, one of the employees was kind enough to take the time to retrieve the requested item. This place is open 24 hours, which makes it convenient for doing late night shopping. read more
