we stopped by at the drive thru to pick up a prescription and someone said "we're close unless u want to come inside u still have 2mins". So we went around and i went inside rushing. Heather was helping someone on the counter and the lady in the back said they're close. i said we were just in the drive thru and someone said we have 2min to come inside. and she said who said that? well of course i didn't get the chance to ask her name because i only have 2mins. And she said it's already 1:29pm. So my sister on the phone who was on loud speaker said it's only 1:29. And the HEATHER said "unless she comes here and pay for whatever i get lost" cause they're going for lunch time. Here's my thing, im just trying to be nice to employees cause the whole world is short handed right now and over worked. But the attitude they gave me is unacceptable.they should've just said, ok let me get u and after u im close. or maybe extra 10min break? my break at my job is unpaid.So be nice and i'll be nice too. And CVS i dont know how you guys keep employee(s) that are rude AF, like can say that to customer like pay her for something she will get lose for. come on, other people want/need job. i work in a place that they don't pay lunch time. Brand new CVS pharmacy on the north side of Las Vegas on the corner of Farm and El Capitan. This corner has been an empty lot for some time and I'm excited that they are opening a brand new plaza which will eventually have new stores like SPROUTS. The place smells new and everything is organized and super clean. Workers here are very helpful and there is plenty of store parking. I don't know if a new CVS was really needed here since a Walgreens and an Albertson's pharmacy are on the other corners of this intersection but it's a nice added addition. read more

I have been going to this CVS since it opened and I could not be happier with their service. I have complex health issues which require complex medication issues and insurance issues. The staff including the pharmacists are always great and make sure they help me with what I need. Even if I ever moved, I would continue to use this pharmacy!!! read more

I'm excited for a CVS near me. In my experience the employees have been pleasant and helpful. The main reason I go here to CVS is for Rx s. I'm disappointed that they haven't had some Rx s in stock. Basic meds should be in stock, especially ones that a person uses consistently. I think there should be some way to track meds that a person has on refill. It would probably be better if the Rxs were on auto refill. My daughter's Rxs were on auto refill at the other CVS we used. Apparently that service doesn't get transferred. You have to ask for it at each new location. Example of one Rx that was needed before the end of the day... we went to refill a Rx. They didn't have it and said they would order it. It would be here tomorrow. I asked them to call around to see what other CVS locations had it. They did and located one. I asked if they had carriers who transported Rxs. They said no. We drove a long way to get the Rx she needed. This could get better if we ordered ahead or if her meds had been on auto refill. I would like the auto fill feature to carry over from one location to another. I would also like to have them have couriers to transport Rxs. And I would like them to keep more meds in stocks such as inhalers for asthma. It would also be nice if the CVS app worked correctly. read more

Horrible service. I only go to CVS because of my insurance requires me too. My husbands prescription was called in before noon. Went in to pick it up after 3:30pm and the girl behind the counter said it wasn't done. Needless to say not the first time this has happened. Her comment was the problem "oh well". The lead pharmacy tech Amy Dillon needs some retraining. She is extremely rude and ignores customers while she goes off to do whatever she wants. Amy is the tech who wears glasses and wears her brown hair down but pinned back on the left side most of the time. Avoid her if possible. I got in the prescription drop off line inside the store. I had my 1 year old sick daughter with me and just wanted to pick up her medicine and go home. The pharmacy tech Amy Dillon was standing at the register at the drop off counter. She took my prescription from me, dropped it on the counter rudely and then walked away to the drive through line without a word. Amy never mentioned if she would be back or if someone else would take care of me. After dealing with a sick toddler during the wait 25 minutes wait (I timed it), another employee finally arrived at the register to take my prescription. Amy Dillon never came back. She is extremely rude and ignored me and several other customers who were waiting in the drop off line. All it takes is a little communication. If she had simply told me that she had to go help the drive through line but another employee would be able to help me in a few minutes, I would have understood. But she never explained any of that. Amy is rude and I hope she is actually reprimanded for her poor attitude. All the other employees were very nice. read more

It's nice finally having one close to home after going to the one on Ann Rd since we moved here 20 years ago. The staff are very friendly and today was greeted by Keyon at the drive through with a big smile on her face. Received my prescriptions quickly and she advised me they were giving flu shots if I had time? I parked my car and was in and out in ten minutes. I was so excited to see a cvs open up on our side of town. I was even more excited to shop there as I have been since the recent opening. Today however was a shock. I went in to grab a moisturizer and I was in utter disbelief of the scene unfolding before me. There was a pharmacy customer who was upset for some reason or another and had decided to ask for the contact info of those higher up. The customer made it know as the couple walked towards the front of the store that they were upset... nothing unusual there. What I was not expecting was for the pharmacy lady to leave the pharmacy and confront them at the front counter of the store, all the while screaming choice words at the customers. The employee went on to escalate the situation by continuing to engage and interact with the already upset customers. Everybody was yelling. The customers were yelling they would sue, the pharmacy lady was yelling that she won't let them call her a liar. The customers were screaming that she's gonna lose her job for talking to them like that. The lady was screaming back "I bet I don't!" The customers stopped addressing her and began telling the other lady to give them the info. The pharmacy lady then walked from behind the front counter and right up to the angry couple, still yelling at them. It looked like the pharmacy lady was just seconds away from hitting or jumping on the customer lady! I was in total shock! Her coworkers were asking her to go back to the pharmacy. The husband was yelling at her to go, and saying he didn't know why she even followed them up there to begin with. She then yells at the husband that he is racist... mind you this couple is interracial... and he is the same majority race as the pharmacy lady. The whole visit was just a total mess! The lady checking me out was apologizing to me for the disturbance while all of this is happening at the register next to me. I told the woman checking me out that the pharmacy lady needs to just go walk away. She was pouring gasoline on an open flame, yet she continued to instigate by interacting with the upset customers. My whole visit lasted about 7 minutes, and the issue was still going on when I left. As much as I want this location to be great, I was disappointed with the behavior of that employee. The store is still very new, I would suggest corporate watch the video footage of this and begin major intervention and training. The behavior I witnessed was an embarrassment to the entire brand. I wouldn't be surprised if those customers did sue. read more

Upon walking back to the pharmacy area there was one couple waiting, nobody else. We stood at the drop off window for 11 minutes. At no time did anyone acknowledge us, state they would be with us in a minute, NOTHING! I will drive out of my way before I give this pharmacy my business!!! read more

This CVS Pharmacy has ZERO compassion for the patient. I had surgery last week and had to switch pain medicines. My mother brought the new prescription in and they told her it would be 2 hours. I was in excruciating pain so she asked if it can be done any sooner. They said they would get it done and for her to wait around for it. I was supposed to get a text when it was done. After an hour I called the pharmacy to see what the estimated completion time was. The agent I spoke to said they were working on it right then, to give them 20 minutes. I called 20 minutes later and spoke to CYNTHIA. I asked her to check on it and she said, "I told you it would be 2 hours, you need to shut up and wait your 2 hours. We are very busy." I explained I had just spoken to someone and she YELLED, "NO YOU DIDN'T. SHE DIDN'T SAY THAT. I WAS RIGHT HERE!" I asked for her name and she said Cynthia and hung up. I called my mother to let her know and she went back up to the window. Cynthia gave her the same attitude telling her to wait 2 hours. Cynthia ended up filling it and when my mom received it, it was tablets. The prescription clearly says MLS which means it is liquid. I had a surgery where I cannot swallow pills, which is why it was prescribed for a liquid. How can the pharmacist fill prescriptions without reading it? When my mom made her aware of the prescription being incorrectly dispensed, Cynthia told her this CVS doesn't carry the liquid version of this prescription. So all of this waiting was for nothing. Another agent found the liquid at another CVS and gave my mom the information. She went all the way to Aliante to pick up the liquid prescription. This CVS should be ashamed. The techs are friendlier than the pharmacist. And if the pharmacy is that busy, a tech should be answering the phone, not the pharmacist. There are several other CVS' in the area and I will happily go to them instead. read more

Not too good of an experience at the pharmacy, rather slow. Not very knowledgeable, had a prescription filled-generic was trying to get another generic that was on Insurance formulary and I was told it was out of stock all over town and on back order. Come to find out by mail from my insurance plan that the name brand is covered and cheaper!!! The pharmacy should have been able to figure this out especially since it took them over a week to fill the prescription. Disappointed! Not to mention the customer service is not what I am use to from the other CVS pharmacies. I originally switched from Walgreens to CVS for the customer service. Please don't make me switch back. Get it together new CVS! Oh and the prices are a bit high. Maybe you guys should go across the street and compare prices with the Walgreens. Note: The people in that area have been going to the Walgreens across the street for years for the same basic need items and we notice the price increase in this store compared to the Walgreens across the street. read more

This place is awesome. They had a hard time at the beginning because it was annoying to reach due to construction! Ithe pharmacy ladies are very friendly and helpful and helped me with that special brand for my daughters medication. They are outstanding friendly and customer service is just great.I like it that they have carpet in the store. Is a parking lot have a lot of room to park, it is way more comfortable as the one in the Walgreens parking lot what is tiny and dirty. read more

This particular CVS Pharmacy has the BEST customer service. They are always trying to help if there is an issue with one of my scripts, as sometimes there are "hoops to jump through" with my insurance or the type of medication. Across the street, at that other pharmacy which I will NEVER go to again, they treated me as if I was a bother to them. Never have I been treated that way here at Farm & Durango CVS. In the 3 or so years that I've changed over to this CVS, there has only been one error regarding my prescription being ready on time...just one error in 3 years! It was a regular problem with the place across the street. The pharmacists and clerks are so attentive and good natured here...I didn't even care that a simple mistake was made...because that's the goodwill they've earned from me for being amazing. I genuinely cannot imagine that I ever accepted such downright awful treatment at Walgreen's Pharmacy. Thank goodness I switched to this CVS! read more

I'm going to start this by saying I have never been treated so poorly by anyone as I was treated by Yuma the head pharmacist today. I would rank this review a zero if I could. I called the pharmacy a few days ago about exchanging my $40 monthly prescription bc the pharmacy had given me the wrong dosage. I was told it would be okay bc my pills were still in the unopened box and in a blister pack. When I went in to exchange my pills I was immediately told no that I could not exchange my medication even though they gave me the wrong dosage bc it was not in the CVS bag. The girl helping me went to get the head pharmacist, Yuma, to help. Everything was calm and only kind words were exchanged until Yuma came to the window. Without even speaking to us first, Yuma immediately huffed at us like an angry teenage girl. Rolled her eyes and proceeded to yell at both my husband and I. I am no longer going to this pharmacy. Maybe Yuma should prescribe herself something to help with her hateful attitude. read more
