Hello Walmart I would like to make a suggestion for all of your locked up items especially in the cosmetics section: How about putting in vending machines? Locking up every item requires the clerk to walk around with the customer until they have finished selecting items while other customers must wait. I went to this Walmart to send money to Philippine via Western Union and the customer service tried to steal money from me by overcharging and against their policy! When I pointed that out, they had crazy reasons and they were so embarrassed that I figured their scheme! This person was a black lady that had voice problems and one guy that was either white or Hispanic. I hope the management looks into this and fire both of them for attempting to steal! Pretty good for a Walmart, especially compared to some other locations in town. The clientele is way better than what you'll find east of Decature. Cons: Curbside pickup is slow and a bit inconvenient to access. A few times the app had the wrong aisle. This 4-star rating does not apply to the parent company website! read more

Located at 8060 W Tropical Pkwy Las Vegas, NV 89149, this Walmart is right next door to Sams Club. Since it shares the same parking lot with Sams Club and many other stores in the strip mall, there is plenty of parking spaces for everyone. This particular Walmart has to be the cleanest one in the area. I saw many employees either stocking the shelves or working in the check-out area. I used the self check-out and it was fairly easy to use. I purchased some dairy products, sodas, and quick breakfast meals. It does get pretty crowded during the day but at night it is extremely quiet. All of their items on the shelves looked fresh based on their expiration dates. I would recommend this location for your quick grocery shopping needs. read more

Not sure what is going on but there is always the same people hanging out in the parking lot in the back of cars and today out front of the store in camp chairs eating pizza. At 9pm at night and only 1 cashier everything else was self service and we had well over the limit. Our cashier wa very nice since we had 3 seperare transactions. We rarely go to Walmart but we needed clothes for my nephew. Clothing section was neat and organized. Also was looking for clearence Easter candy and the employee said there were only baskets however by the exit was indeed all the easter candy at 25% off. read more

This Walmart supercenter had everything I needed from the fresh produce to household items. The produce section was bright and well stocked with colorful fruits and vegetables. I also know the hot food area looked fresh and appealing, which was a nice surprise. When navigated the store it was fairly easy and the layout was clean and organized. I didn't have to wait long at checkout and the self checkout lanes helped move things along. Only downside was the customer service wasn't super engaging, but overall it was a smooth shopping trip. I'll definitely return for weekly essentials. read more

My daughter and I stopped into the Walmart Supercenter on a Sunday morning, around 9:00 A.M. to look at their Holiday decorations. The store was fairly empty. If you try to visit this Walmart during the middle of the day, it does get super busy!! This Walmart Supercenter also has groceries, apparel, furniture, toys, and so much more! Their Holiday decorations and selections are expansive! Walmart has a entire selection dedicated to Holiday Trees, ornaments, wrapping paper, blow up decorations and so much more. It's located near the outside garden section. This Walmart Supercenter is well organized, stocked, and fairly clean. There are a few businesses located inside of it, one of their newest one's being Charley's a Philly cheesesteak restaurant, replacing what used to be McDonalds. Most of the check out registers are now converted to self-check out lanes, all of them which are fairly new! Overall, we had a good experience at this Walmart Supercenter and would go back to it again if we need to purchase specific merchandise. read more

Day after Christmas all candy related to Christmas had a 25% off sign. So I took advantage, but when ringing them up, they came out as full price. I pointed this out to the cashier attendant who got the manager, who said whatever the price rings up as is the price. Pharmacist, Tom Nguyen, refused to fill a prescription for me for antihistamines. Mr Nguyen stated that 'it is out of my scope of practice' to write for antihistamine medications. (I am a physician and surgeon who can write for narcotics and all classes of medications.) Incident on Sunday 8/17/25. This man is unprofessional and needs to be fired. He endangered my health. They accepted my pay on credit card & sent email verifying my order. Don't bother trying to call this location, they won't pick up the phone. If they do happen to pick up, they will transfer you where you'll be stuck in elevator music hell because they won't pick up the phone again. The grocery pickup at this Walmart is a joke. I could shop for double the amount of items I ordered in the time it takes them to bring my groceries out to my car. Staff is constantly outside talking to each other and laughing and no one is distributing groceries to cars. I'm not a frequent Walmart shopper and after yesterday's experience I don't think I'll become one. I had a clothing item needing exchanged for a different size. The gal overseeing the ridiculous checkout area was rude and disrespectful and even walked away while I was asking a question about who can help me do an exchange. After waiting in line the first available cashier sent me to the customer center(which I would've done initially if the rude checkout lady would've confirmed that's where I needed to go). The person who assisted me at the customer center was friendly and said they don't do exchanges, just a return and buy the new sized item, but allowed me to complete my transaction without sending me back to wait in line. This morning I arrived at Walmart's deli at around a quarter to eight. Two male employees were laughing and talking behind the counter. One of them, a slender guy with tattoos and wearing glasses, turned to inform me they opened at 8 and that they had the same items in a cooler a few feet away. I went over there and didn't find what I wanted in the quantity I wanted, so I decided to return at 8. When I returned, the same young man assisted me (no smile nor other pleasantness). I finally asked him "Am I bothering you?" for which I received no answer. When I received my final item from him, his tone was much more pleasant. It's nice to be kind to your coworkers but you need to reserve some for customers. I wouldn't have taken the time to write this had it been my first poor experience at this deli counter but enough is enough. read more

THIS REVIEW IS SOLELY FOR CURBSIDE PICKUP SERVICE ONLY- I've used this service 3x already. First experience:cool. Second:Meh Third: WTH?! Will I use this service again? A big fat MAYBE, NOT SURE. Here's the story, as mentioned above, the first time was definitely easy peasy and my experience was cool (there was a little bit of a wait time, but it wasn't as bad as I later experienced) and the service was very convenient. Second time, I was expecting the same kinda experience, but hoping it would be better, but service was slllooowww. I mean 15 minutes wait time, until an associate FINALLY came. Third time, are they for real?! First of all, my pickup time was for 7-8pm on 8/4/22, order was placed 8/3/22. I received a message at 7:06 telling me that there's a delay on my order. At 7:37pm, I was alerted that my order was ready. I pulled into space pickup #3 at 7:46pm and let them know I was there via the Walmart app and waited. At 8:02pm I receive a text message that said my order has been picked up! Um Noooo I'm sitting in my car waiting!!! I call the number that is posted on the sign with the pickup space number(702-859-0499). It rings several times before an automated message says that no one's available, but if you need further assistance call the store at the SAME number that was posted on the sign (the one I just called!!!) or leave a message with your name and number and someone will call you back! Lol! Wth?!!! You kidding me?! I hung up and called again to leave a message and received the same automated message, but this time, the mailbox was FULL! As I was sitting in my car frustrated, another customer parked next to me,who was there BEFORE me was obviously upset too and stated she has been waiting for about an hour, was fed up,and left! There's no way I was going to drive there and leave without my items! I looked up the store's phone number via Yelp (702-839-3620) and explain to the "operator" what's going on. She puts me on hold, comes back and tells me that she's transferring me to the manager, I ask for her name (for reference) she tells me that she's not allowed to disclose that!!! Lol!!! Ok whatever! I let her transfer me and end up speaking to Grace, the "front manager." I explained to her what was going on and she told me that they were short staffed today. Okay, at least have an associate stand out there to let us customers know that there's delays on delivery. Yes we received a notice that our order has been delayed, but a notice on delivery to your car would be efficient and appreciated too! Anyway, she said she would send someone out asap. An associate did finally come at 8:16pm. What's bothersome is that I received a notification saying that my items were picked up at 8:02!!! Heck nooooo, it WAS NOT!!! This service is very convenient, but customer service sadly needs help in this department. Perhaps, I should go to Target more often and stay away from Walmart from now on. read more

The pharmacy at the Walmart on Tropical Parkway is the best. They have some amazing employees. If you've been lucky enough to have Marla or Maria help you, then you know what I mean. shop at Walmart almost every day, but this recent experience was beyond frustrating. I went in to buy a patio chair and parked my car by the garden section for an easy transfer. The manager refused to let me load it there, enforcing that I carry the chair through the store and out the far side. I finally got someone to help, but they made me wait 20 minutes while an associate went to get the chair--only to bring me the wrong one. They brought out a boxed chair that still needed assembly, even though I specifically requested the display chair, which was right by the gate where my car was originally parked. And to add insult to injury, they said they didn't even want to sell the display! I'm fed up with this terrible service and will be returning the chair tomorrow. I figured if I did order pick up I could get the one thing I needed that wasn't at Target. The order pick up took an hour!! They clear your order so it looked like they are doing a good job I checked in at 1:20pm at 1:25 I got a text that my order was picked up. The workers lie to the system so it does not show how slow they are actually giving out orders. I asked twice after waiting 15 minutes then again after waiting another 25 minutes! Finally at the 55 minutes mark I had to go inside and see a manager who then say "oh sorry bout that your next" a child worker then came running out and handed my things?? The manager did not return. Sometimes you wonder about the reviews some places get and you wind up there anyway.... Well this Walmart has earned a two star rating. Not because of what they carry or how the store is laid out or being clean, but solely on employee friendliness. I have been here a few times and have not run into a friendly employee yet. If you can get them to acknowledge you, your lucky. But don't expect polite or interactive. Knowing this I used the self check option today. Of course my $1 French Bread would it scan. Being by myself I had no option but to call for assistance. The girl comes over and just stands there staring at me. No "what's wrong" or "how can I help you". Nothing. So I explain what happened so she attempts to scan it. No luck. She walks away. Comes back. Gets all frustrated and says well what is it? I said the bread? It'a literally just French Bread from your bakery. I said there is a whole stand right over there I can just swap it out. She starts to question me if it is really just $1?? Mind you the price is on the bread! Look girlfriend I am trying to be honest here and just pay the damn dollar. She finally hand keyed it in and I paid and left. This is the second time that I've had to cancel a grocery delivery from this store! My order came to $392.99 and they hold $492.00. I requested delivery as l am handicapped. They put a delivery time between 12 noon and 1 p.m. I waited in my hot garage in my wheelchair until 2 p.m. I cancelled the order and they won't process my order for 7-10 business days!!! They wanted me to wait until 10 p.m. and if it didn't get delivered they would express deliver it the next day!!! We shop at this Walmart every weekend. The prices are good but the team members are consistantly friendly and helpful. However, I had to mention the team member "SHANIECE" who went way out of her way to help me. When I approached her to direct me to "toothpicks", she explained there were 3 areas where they were. As she started to explain, she said "Never mind, let me just take you to the nearest one." That was easily from where I found her near the dairy section, almost to the front of the store near the frozen food cases. She smiled all the way and was so nice, I just had to mention her. In some cases I have been helped but the person seemed to be bothered or gave you the impression that you were interupting them. Shaniece did not. It felt as through she was happy to assist me and she even said she hoped I had a wonderful day. THIS is how a customer wants to be treated. She is OUTSTANDING in every way. read more

I just had the worst experience of my life at this store. AND INFRONT OF MY 5 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER.... I went to return something, and purchase finger paint for my daughter while I was there. I walk in. Holding my item along with the receipt, not even in a bag. It's a bright pink bath rug, no one stopped to give me a sticker. They were too busy talking amongst themselves I suppose, Not my fault. So I proceeded to get the paint and handle it all at customer service. Well... as soon as I get to the counter, JENNY starts drilling me , non stop , as to why I didn't get a sticker, and how does she know I didn't just go grab a rug from the shelf and try to return it, and what door did I come through. And after that comment I said PLEASE CHECK YOUR CAMERA because I want it all to end. She kept saying things to me even when I asked her to end it. And I don't have all day I'm just trying to handle this and go home. Just when I think it's all over, boy was I wrong. I got rang up 2 weeks prior for numerous items because something was wrong with the checker girl. Again not my fault. I even had to go to customer service after waiting in line to get refunded for items that were rang up twice . Well, they forgot one. I came home and had ONE RUG! I tried explaining that to JENNY. Then I asked for a manager. Thinking I'll get treated kinder . Boy was I wrong again. XAVIER comes over now. Looking more irritated than ever. Gives me my receipt and says everything on here is right . Mind you I was there 2 weeks prior. He said they just checked the cameras from 2 weeks ago and I had 2 rugs. I spent $200 that day. And I'm really not too too worried about a $7 bath rug . But I said to myself "they don't deserve a $7 donation it's my money and I should get it back". This so called manager keeps ARGUING with me INFRONT OF MY 5 YEAR OLD and infront of soooo many people. His demeanor was the worst I had ever experienced. Talking to me like I'm a guy he's about to fist fight. I'm a 43 year old female WHO WENT HOME WITH ONE BATH RUG AND WAS CHARGED FOR 2. If a camera shows me having 2 rugs so be it.
