This place is open 24 hours. So when I walked up to the cashier, every register had closed signs. The young lady behind the counter didn't notice it until I walked up and she removed the sign. I just found that strange for a 24 hour store... So she didn't even say hi or good morning, just continue talking to her 2 other co workers. When one of them walked over, with a damaged item, she pulled out her cell phone and yelled out "Omg let me take a picture!" So this is all happening as I am swiping my card and entering my pin. One of the older cashiers says in a whisper "You have a customer"... The young girl says "I know, but I have to capture this moment" As I got finished with my transaction, I was handed my receipt. No good day or goodbye. Just really bad customer service here. I work in customer service, and have been for years. I know the right and wrongs of it all. If this had been at the place I worked, I easily would had a verbal and written warning. All it takes is a simple hi, smile, and goodbye. That's it. Some people can't even do that and that's why I wish robots would take over. The robots would probably have more care and customer service, since they would be programmed that way. read more

CVS Pharmacy is currently the go to for Covid testing and unfortunately their drive-through is at least a half a dozen long or more daily for testing. Can't really feel comfortable going here anymore to fill my prescriptions because of that! Just a heads up! TERRIBLE customer service strictly in the Pharmacy section. You can tell they are stressed because they constantly have long lines which equals to horrible service to their customers. These people need to go through training on how to work efficiently and just basic service knowledge or they need to hire more people. Will be switching my pharmacy to a different location due to the lack of service and efficiency here. The short gentleman with glasses is particularly very rude for no reason and obviously hates doing anything more than the bare minimum of his job. Please pick up your prescriptions elsewhere unless you like waiting 30+ minutes to be told your prescription is not ready and won't be for the next few hours after waiting a full 24 hours receiving it from the pharmacy. read more

Have used this pharmacy for 20 years. Recently they have been so busy that they do not fill Dr RX's for several days, or they say they never got it. I watched my Dr submit the RX. Both times it happened I was told to call my Dr & have it submitted again. When it's Friday night or Saturday, I am forced to wait until Monday. Then they take another 2 days to fill it! I think this particular CVS has become too busy & they don't staff it appropriately. I'm going to switch my prescriptions to Von's or Costco from now on. read more

Was referred to this pharmacy as the place for Culinary Members for 24 hour pharmacies. I went around 8 PM. They said 1 hour. I offered my insurance card, etc, but they said I was good, that I was in the system. Excellent start! Came back at 9. They said that they needed another 10 minutes. I came back in 30. They said they were about to close? No worries, should be ready, right? NOPE. The lady said that they don't take my insurance. They also said that they tried calling me? I had been on my phone here and there through the hour and a half wait, with plenty of texts/calls, but NONE from CVS. CVS almost got a second star for offering to fill it for me anyways at a "discount" with no insurance, and then referring me to a 24 HOUR place which accepts Culinary. The lady simply googled it, which was nice of her to do. It was a few miles out of the way away, but no worries. I confirmed the location she suggested. They turned me down when I arrived stating that the pharmacy was closed, but that the STORE was open:) I'm supposed to be locked in my home for a 2 day min, and now I'm driving all over Las Vegas. Thanks:( I was coming from an urgent care with a need to rush these prescriptions too. This location is close to my house so the only thing good about it, is the fact it's close. It's dirty, and the worst thing is it's severely understaffed. One checkout person and a line halfway around the store. Always! It sucks but it's the reality. Other than that, it has everything a normal CVS has. Came here on June 11th @ 5:50am to pickup 3 boxes of cereal that was on sale @ $1.99/box. Can't beat the deal. So I picked up 2 boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios & 1 box of lucky charms. I headed to the checkout. Zach came running to the front and asked how's my morning going. Told him going good, heading to work. He scanned the boxes of cereal and asked if I had a extra care card or number. Showed him my cvs app on my phone which he scanned. 4 seconds went by and Zach asked if I would like to use the $2 reward as well as the $5 reward I have on my account. Told Zach yes I would. Zach then said today total will be $0.00. Can't beat free. I told Zach what happened at the Maryland & Silverado Ranch store yesterday when I tried to use the $5 & $2 reward. Zach told me the computer usually shows them what rewards & coupons you have clipped to the card. Zach told me that they might had bypassed that screen to get you to pay for the items. This place has the worst customer service. I had to take my stepson to the hospital for an asthma attack a few months ago and this location was closest on my way home (on the way to Sandy Valley). His mom got a text alert that the inhaler and oral medicine were ready for pickup so my husband and I went there to pick it up. I pulled through the drive-thru only to be told 15 min before they close that they didn't have the inhaler (which is what he needed the most). I got upset and said we were notified it was ready for pickup. The tech said 'oh, well, nothing we can do'. I lost my sh*t. Told them I needed the inhaler and they'd better fine one because if I had to take him back to the hospital I would be sending the bill. Miraculously they found an inhaler and filled the script. Ridiculous that I had to go mama bear on their a**es. I went there again today for another script, show up to pick it up and told they wouldn't have it until tomorrow, no communication- (again) no apologies- nothing- I told my husband to ask if they can transfer to another pharmacy (again because we live outside of town) and at least they did that. Lied about contacting the Hospital that prescribed me my prescription & then at some point told me the # on said prescription was wrong, but yet they were on hold with them for 30mins? How does that make sense?! Kept saying that they don't call the Doctors, the Doctors call them? Like how when the Hospital Doctors gave me a written prescription to take directly to any pharmacy of my choice?! I ended doing their job for them going back and forth myself with the Hospital to get the information they said was missing! In the end, they finally filled the prescription but never called me to tell me it was ready, until i called them myself at 5:30pm before they closed at 6pm and got a "yeahhh umm it's ready, but you better come quick because we close at 6 and after that we can't help you" luckily i was outside waiting in their parking lot! Fellow consumers run don't walk from this CVS Pharmacy... On 9/18/2016, I visited the CVS Pharmacy located at 8116 S. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, Nevada to use my 30% and 20% coupons. Unfortunately the 30% and 20% coupons were not applied to the cologne I purchased. According to your Store Manager, Azucena (Suzy) the cologne was a buy one get one 50% off and the coupon doesn't apply to sale items. I advised the store manager, Azucena the product was not marked as a sale item and she rudely replied we're not expected to label every product that's on sale. Really, I'm a business owner myself and I expect my employees to do their job, it's disturbing a corporation as large as CVS wouldn't require the same from its staff, especially a member of their management team. Furthermore, if the proper sale signage was posted, they only had one in stock so they would be unable to honor the sale. To add insult to injury when I requested the phone number from Azucena she threw the pin on the counter. Of course, I brought this to her attention and was abruptly dismissed. I have been a frequent customer at CVS Pharmacy's across the United States and have never been treated with such disrespect and disdain. CVS Pharmacy should honor the coupons they send to their customers if the items are not marked properly by staff. Additionally, I suspect discrimination is a factor in this case. My wife went in on Saturday, August 21, 2021 to transfer a script from New Jersey which happens to be3hrs ahead of us in Nevada. It took the CVS pharmacy over 8 hours to call our pharmacy to transfer her script, when they called the pharmacy they were already closed. When we called on Sunday August 22, 202, they told us they tried calling and our pharmacy was closed. It iritates me because we specifically said to them that there was a 3 hr time difference and that it was already 12:00 pm and that our pharmacy closed in 7 hrs. CVS pharmacy is a horrible pharmacy, and I strongly recommend that if you need scripts filled to stay away from CVS in Las Vegas and use Walgreens or Walmart. read more

My error for forgetting my prescription at home in Arizona before coming to Vegas for the Thanksgiving holiday. Not CVS's fault. I was thankful that there were CVS in Las Vegas to address this for me and happy there were 24 hr pharmacies. Pro: - 24 hr pharmacy available - the pharmacist called all the CVS 24 hr pharmacies to try to find one that had what I needed for my prescription - I did eventually get a call back very late at night the night before Thanksgiving telling me that none of the Las Vegas or surrounding areas for 24 hr CVS pharmacies could fill my prescription - opened on holidays Cons: - the wait on the phone was ridiculous. Not sure if only 1 person was manning everything or not, but I was on hold for over 45 minutes and I ended up just hanging up This wait time was really long, way more than reasonable. I used multiple phones to call and all of them on hold. Guess when I ended all calls, whomever was manning the phones was probably relieved that he didn't have to answer that many calls. It would have been nice for him to say to call back later or something. For that I give a 1 star. However, he did check all the 24-hr CVS pharmacies for me, so that was a 5 star. And him giving me a call back was a 5 star. The fact that they were opened for the holidays for forgetful people like me, another 5 star. The only drawbacks were that I couldn't get my prescription filled when I needed it and the long phone wait time. However, if they are under manned at the time, through the holidays, I can give grace to the people who had to work. I should be okay to get this prescription filled the day after Thanksgiving. read more

Just in case other people are as confused as I was when scheduling for COVID vaccine. Despite the signage indicating otherwise and the website also saying you can walk-in and schedule only certain locations are open for first dose. That means if it doesn't pop up as location when you try to schedule or when the guy at the desk says you just walk up to pharmacy to get vaccine they actually mean the location is not open period for the vaccine. So I highly recommend going to bigger cvs locations if you are trying to get vaccine quick. read more

I just had a major surgery where they had to fly me to another state when i was released from the hospital it was Saturday by the time i made it home cvs was closed and they are not open on Sundays. Monday morning i called at 9am (keep in mind i had to call multiple times because someone kept hanging up on me) once i was able to speak with a person i asked when would my medication be ready the person was rude she didn't greet me she said the doctor is missing information that they didn't know how many days of medication to give me but when i called The automated system said it was a five day supply so I asked to speak with a supervisor a lady who got on the phone never saying her name and again I was not greeted she seem more pissed off that she had to stop what she was doing and talk to me i knew she wasn't going to help so i called my doctor and told him the problem he said he would give them a call to fix the mistake because this was a very important medication around 12 my doctor called me back saying he had been calling all morning he is not sure what to do because i need the medication as soon as possible so i called and called till i got someone and was trying to explain the situation i even gave them my doctors cell phone number (which they never used) and she even hung up in my face around 2pm my doctor said he sent another prescription and to check if I was able to get that medication i got a text saying it was ready but i was scared it was a error so i called and called some more then someone picked up and said not it was not ready so i gave up and called the 1800 number to complain and the 1st thing said was the medication is ready then i had to sit in line for 20-40mins this is sad people need there medication regardless of what its for read more

Just left this cvs location after waiting in line for an hour for covid rapid testing. Worse experience ever. So unorganized. I called while driving to cvs and talked to minute clinic rep to confirm if rapid testing has a designated area or is it drive thru. Lady said all testing done drive thru. Got there at 1045am for my 11am appointment. When I got to window worker tells me to go to front parking spaces of building to designated rapid testing. He sees my appointment that was made and he will let the nurse know to come out. Nurse comes out with a small white piece of paper and her cell phone. She tells me I will not be tested since I'm late now. And I did not answer her phone call twice when trying to reach me. My phone never rang. I showed her my missed calls cell phone log nothing there. She insisted called twice and now I will not be tested. Then started to walk away. I asked her to verify what number she called? She read the number that wasn't even Vegas area code and not my number. I verified my actual cell number Vegas area code and asked that she please do my test since she didn't have my correct phone number. She refused and said it doesn't matter about the phone number either way since it's now an hour past appointment there is nothing she can do and walked away. Unbelievable service! And if she called the right number I would have gotten out of drive thru line and made it to the front in time. Shameful nurse. I thought they were here to help and assist during covid hard times. I have used this pharmacy for some time. It is convenient on my way home from work. The customer service is sadly lacking and getting worse. I attempted to pick up through drive thru to avoid contact as much as possible due to COVID. My newest prescription is $60 for 3 months. Since my 3 month supplies are normally $18 I went inside to ask. The answer from Hanna was a snotty "that's just the way it is sometimes". I asked her if it would be cheaper to which she shrugged her shoulders. So I pressed and asked if we could check. Long story short, it was more expensive and requested the 3 month supply instead. Hanna questioned "NOW YOU WANT THE 3 MONTH SUPPLY?!" Yes please since it's cheaper. No message to let me know the prescription was filled so I called a day later. I don't know why CVS employs people in the pharmacy who are not kind. read more

There is nothing much worse than getting sick on vacation unless its losing money and getting sick. I had run the gamut over the prior 4 days from the initial scratchy throat to a runny nose, low grade fever and cough so my wife suggested a trip to the emergency room was in order. I resisted so we compromised by visiting the Minute Clinic that is affiliated with St. Rose Dominican Hospital. I am not sure where the Minute comes from since it was many minutes, but still a lot faster than any emergency room would have been. I filled out some online paperwork and waited approximately 18 minutes before seeing the nurse practitioner. She asked several questioners and conducted a number of tests before concluding I had a cold while offering some suggestions for reducing the symptoms. Other than $25, the cost of the my 30 plus minute visit was covered by my health insurance. I would not hesitate to visit again under the same circumstances. read more

This review is strictly based on the Minute Clinic at this CVS location, specifically Nurse Practitioner Lisa Ymballa. I saw NP Lisa Ymballa on 2/15/16. I was very ill with a slew of symptoms and knowing my own medical history, I was confident it was in part due to bronchitis. I also lost my voice and my throat had been swelling shut, along with the lymph nodes in my neck area very swollen and sore to the touch so I had to write everything down for her. The last time I let the bronchitis go on too long, my adrenal glands shut down and I was unable to walk. I was very concerned and wanted this addressed sooner than later. She was rude, condescending, dismissive of my concerns and to make matters worse, she misdiagnosed me. She told me there was no way it was bronchitis, that I just had allergies and there was nothing I could do but let it ride its course. She also tested for strep and that was negative. My throat symptoms worsened and the mucus congestion got thicker to the point I had extreme difficulty breathing. Fortunately, I found a very reputable Urgent Care with knowledgable doctors who diagnosed it immediately as severe bronchitis which caused a bad bout of laryngitis. It's a very scary thing to be away from your home state and not with your primary care physician when you're under the weather, especially to this degree. Then to have someone as awful and unwilling to listen, like Lisa Ymballa, creates an even worse situation. Not only does she need further training on the medical side, but she needs serious work on her bedside manner. I'll be sure to pass on this experience to friends and family. Save yourself the trouble and skip this Minute Clinic. read more
