I've been coming to the Walgreens at 385 East Silverado Ranch Boulevard for a while now, and this location consistently stands out. Unlike other pharmacies where you might wait forever, the lines here move quickly thanks to their efficient and caring team. The pharmacy technicians are truly wonderful, fast, greeting, and always polite. Even when you can tell they've had a long day, they still serve everyone with a smile and genuine kindness. Their dedication doesn't go unnoticed. Today was a perfect example of their outstanding service. My doctor sent a last-minute allergy prescription to the Southern Highlands location, instead of Silverado Ranch. The technician who answered offered to transfer it to their location, even though it would take a bit longer than if I just went to Southern Highlands. I asked her to go ahead, and within 15 minutes, I received a text that my prescription was ready! Special thanks to Taylor, the technician who handled my call and got everything ready so quickly. Her efficiency meant I could take my medication and get to work without missing a day. That kind of service makes a real difference. I've had consistently positive experiences here, only one staff member over time seemed less enthusiastic about customer interaction, but everyone else more than makes up for it. I get a prescription filled once a month, I call beforehand as sometimes my doctor sends it before it can be refilled. Without fail every month I call the pharmacy and sit on hold for 10 minutes only for someone to just pick up the phone and then hang it up. Today I called 3 times and the same thing happened. I know someone picks it up because I can hear people talking. How could a pharmacy have some horrible service and management not know? I can't be the only person this happens to? Also, since I confirm each month what day I am supposed to call to have it filled, without fail I will be told multiple different days to call in? So the pharmacy people can't do basic math? I know how to count 30 days but I call just to make sure it will be ready, but every single month I go through this and have to call multiple times to figure out which day it will be ready. Lastly, and without fail this happens every single time, my prescription is for 90 pills and even though they have multiple days to make sure they have stock to fill my prescription they wait till the day I am supposed to pick up to tell me they don't have stock and will need to order? Why don't they order and make sure they have them when the order comes in from the doctor? Is it that hard to look at my records to see that I come every month? I have dealt with a lot of customer service people through the years and this store's pharmacy has to be by far the worst I have ever experienced. read more

Anytime I call the pharmacist on staff is always so kind and answers all of my questions with no attitude at all ever, which is a first for me. Constantly out of medications and promises that they're ordered but when you check up on them they tell you they'll order the medications right now...I've waited weeks without my medications and it's causing so many problems. Went to fill a prescription and I told them I wanted to use good rx instead of my insurance because they would need a pre authorization for my medication that Ive been taking for years now and was never told that I would be forfeiting the remaining amount to be filled. They gave me 7 days worth of my pain medication and was told that I'd be able to come back once it was approved. That's not the case, I now was told that I'd need a new prescription and that's not possible because the doctors office officially closed it's doors yesterday and I can't get a hold of anyone!! Because they closed!! The pharmacist never told me that I'd need a new prescription. Definitely moving my medication elsewhere. They never answer phones or place you on hold forever and never return. Just had a horrible experience at this store with the older lady at the photo counter. We walked up and she didn't ask what we needed help with. So I said "I'm here to pick up an order", she rudely said "what for?". Then said to wait because she was finishing up some photo project. Then when another gentlemen asked for her help she dropped everything and went to help. While the store is great, the pharmacy is the worst. Waited 24 minutes on the phone to pharmacy only to get hung up on. Not the first time. Went into pharmacy as line in drive-thru was wrapped around to front door. Line inside was just as bad and they only had one person checking people out. They cut my prescription from 90 days to 17 days as that's all the pills they had. This went on for 2 months. I've since changed locations. In the past, I've had terrible service at this location's pharmacy. However, today I received exceptional service from a young pharmacy tech named Niko. I explained to him my dire situation ( this pharmacy has been out of my medication for over a month, an ADHD medication, and it's greatly affected my well-being). Niko found out that my medication was, in fact, in stock, and got my prescription filled in 10 minutes. I watched him assist other customers with efficiency and ease. By far, the best customer service I ever experienced at this Walgreens. Niko deserves a raise. And please, give him more hours. He assisted me with a pleasant demeanor and a smile. For the pharmacy no no no no no! Seriously just no. I know that people have a bad experience Abe it's usually a one time thing and that's the review. This is a review of my last 1.5 years trying to use this pharmacy. 00000000 stars - I have called on multiple occasions to have a regular rx filled with a name brand that I know they needed to order - they tell me yes then I call again 3 days before I need it and they have to order it...... this was reoccurring monthly. This is one example of something they could easily do right that they are too lazy to do. Another: I called to verify both of my rx were ready - was told 3 days because they had to order one. I called 3 rd day and they said will have it next day after 4. I went and they didn't have it and had to order it....... The people working the counter with the exception of the young male Asian kid are all slow and completely give you the full impression they are paid hourly and don't care about you. All responses are robotic and with no empathy or sincerity in anything. If they tell you something will be ready and it "was a busy day" it's not ready and they will try to get it ready in 4 hours. Seriously, you people should find a new line of work, you obviously don't care about your patients or customers.... The people that employ you should lose their jobs for keeping you and so forth up the chain for the oversight. Giving a 4 star because the over all Walgreens is great. I've shopped here but my last two experiences were for the Covid vaccine. The pharmacy line is alway long going down aisle 29. After watching the pharmacist and customers for 3 hrs during my first shot and the past hour now (still waiting) I see the customers act like animals while all the employees are constantly running around. It appears there is just one licensed pharmacist that legally has to check certain prescriptions, give consults and administer vaccines. The company needs to hire him some help. A poorly run Walgreens. I made an order online with the photo department. When status showed "ready for pickup", we went to pick it up. On arrival we waited 10 minutes before we received any help. Then they stated the order was not ready. The manager Danni, said they ran out of paper and they had called me and left a message. This was not true, I had zero missed calls and zero messages. And why would it show in the app that my order was ready if it wasn't? Then she stated they couldn't transfer my order or help me find a store that had paper to print it, unbelievable.
