Then it all hit as soon as the door closed behind me, the sound of the Slurpee machines whirling in the background and the smell of the hot dogs and nachos. Summertime and specifically the memory of summertime as a kid. The Food: There was a good selection of food that was ready to eat, prepacked treats, and plenty of drinks. The taquito I ordered was tested for correct temperature before it was passed to me. The Service: It was friendly and quick. There were two working the cash registers as the line was building up from a rush of customers. Bonus Catogory: The nostalgia was great. Memories of long summers spent at the pool or on the bike all flooded back. Definitely worth checking out when in need of a Slurpee or almost anything else.

The employees are helpful, friendly and just down right good people. Sometimes, I see some minor jobs given to the homeless for some degree of contribution in return; this a great community Service!!! The bathrooms are kept clean; indeed a huge challenge in any public venue!!! Every employee works hard and yet have time for a smile, short talk (they are busy) and pleasantries. All shelves are stocked well, including drinks, (still searching for the healthier food and no sugar items - The Gas costs are competitive!!! I personally visit 3 different Murphy Stations: Littleton, Lakewood and the new one in Arvada, all are designed the same with great service!! We stopped in to…read moresee if they had Halloween candy on sale so we could take more goodies to the local food bank where we had just dropped off a huge load of food. We headed in & asked if they had any & we were immediately greeted by the store manager Heather. She was absolutely awesome! Kind, knowledgeable, funny & went above & beyond to help us gather the great amount of candy left that was 80% off plus merchandise was 90% off which can also be used. So we emptied the shelves saving a huge amount plus allowed us to get all of the candy for the food bank & other charities we work with. Heather even got us the store super cart plus many boxes to use & helped carry. The cashier Kathryn was a trooper probably spending almost 30 minutes ringing it all us. this store has really turned around & we will be using it again thanks to great people like Heather! Wanted to add a photo since these boxes contain candy from Walgreens that we took to the food bank!

I got a shirt, sweats, hats, and a few other items that looked like fun things to have. I skipped the $20 onsie. I probably should have bought that too. As for food, I love the fresh chips and those chopped brisket sandwiches. I did not think the breakfast sandwiches were as tasty. There is a wall of beef jerky, but I went straight to the glass and asked started pointing and asking for it by weight. Jerky isn't cheap, but it's good. My favorite was like a refrigerated ready to eat sausage.
