Just spoke with Kim after she called me 3 times (never even leaving a voice mail and I was at work unable to answer calls) and I stand by my 1 star review and I correct my previous review to say, I asked Eric to speak with the Pharmacist NOT the Pharmacy manager as Eric told Kim, I said, which was not what I said. Now, we are talking semantics. She also said Eric was not working as a Pharmacy tech! I asked, her how is their customer to know that or even what his role is?? She never answered that question only started rattling off his duties. Then, I asked about the other 3 that were standing around with nothing to do. Eric did seem concerned when I did mention DORA as I walked out the door. I now also, had to have an unnecessary visit to my doctor and she has given me a new pharmacy. I hope with better customer service. 2nd update: Wow, in 5 hours My new pharmacy has my prescription ready to go!! I have been shopping Pharmaca for years. I have only used Pharmaca Brand Lavender Body Wash, Lotion and bath salts. I live a holistic life which means chemical free Hygiene products, ext. I also buy these products for friends and family fighting cancer to start them living holistically. I have gone into this location for the past 6 months on and off in addition to online and they do not alway stock or have these products. Unfortunately, I have to try to find replacement products because Pharmaca is no longer dependable or reliable. Very Disappointed! read more

I had my first covid vaccine here yesterday and I am just so overwhelmed with gratitude for the kindness that I received. I had been very nervous and anxious to receive the vaccine as I have a condition where I pass out during vaccinations unless I am laying down. I made sure to tell the pharmacy tech when it was my turn (and it was busy!) The tech responded by preparing a tiny office for me so I could have some privacy and told me "I totally understand, my dad has the same condition" and let me lay down and take my time. I didn't grab his name (young with dark hair) but his kindness and lack of judgement just meant the world to me. Thank you for making a potentially anxious moment into a pleasant one! read more

Wow! Tried 4 times to purchase without success. Yet, Pharmaca authorized $600 in purchases from my account and told me all purchases were declined. I have no receipt since no purchase was successful. I called Pharmaca and they told me that this is how their charge system works. Even declined sales get authorized and will hold the money from my bank. Turns out the billing address was incorrect. I tried different addresses but cannot make a successful purchase. Pharmaca only wants to borrow my money for free. read more

The worst customer service I have ever received. You walk through the doors and no one greets you. You ask for help and they act like you are a burden. When you finally get help they barely look you in the eye. I've come in multiple times and received the same treatment. Oh and if you have kids with you DO NOT GO IN they act as if your kids are the biggest annoyance and inconvenience. read more

This place is actually pretty neat. If you are into alternative health and natural supplements/herbs then this place is for you. Yes, it is a bit pricey but you will find whatever natural remedy you need in here. The staff here was very nice and helpful as well. We all think we know a lot about remedies (google), but these people know what they are talking about and are very knowledgable about their products and will give good recommendations. If all you're wanting is some over the counter drug, they might carry some but not all. You're better off going to Walgreens. Pros: Great place for natural remedies. Nice location. The inside is very calm and relaxed. Cons: A bit pricey. Overall: Wonderful place if you're looking for supplements/herbs/natural remedies. read more

Pharmaca has been running a Groupon here and there since they opened and I finally decided to give it a shot. Some of their prices are a bit high but the employees are very helpful and knowledgable. Pharmaca has a pretty decent selection of vitamins and supplements (not quite as vast as Vitamin Cottage/Natural Grocers) but the items stocked are pretty good. They also carry a few gift items, make up, snacks, and have a pharmacy in the back. It's conveniently located next to Trader Joe's on Orchard & University and I look forward to returning and sampling more of their offerings. read more

Can I give them 10 stars please? I used this place a ton in San Francisco and was so happy to find one here. I buy a few supplements here, and I am uber impressed with the staffs knowledge of items. I've asked about a variety of topics - child probiotics, ear drops for infections, alternative electrolyte drinks for stomach viruses, etc. I'm a huge believer in trying / supplementing with natural products, and this place is right up my alley. Not to mention I've called several times and spoken with the pharmacist on staff for recommendations. I can't recommend this place enough. Think of it like a miniature, alternative-based Walgreens. This is my first experience visiting a Pharmaca. I was lured in by a "sale mailer," I received in the mail because I live in the area. I think like most people receiving advertisements in the mail; I was a little hesitant. I thought it might be an overpriced drug store. But, Because I buy natural health and beauty products I thought I give it a try. I was quickly greeted by an associate and she was very professional. It was obvious to see that the way they merchandised this store they had the customer in mind because it was very easy to find what I was looking for. There's not a lot of long narrow isles to navigate through, instead most items are displayed neatly alongside the walls. It looks more like a health and beauty store you'd find at the mall. I was impressed that they dedicate most of their store to natural products, yes, like the reviewer before me said" High-end." it's not Walgreens by any means. But, it appeared that they carried almost every kind of natural product you could think of, which is different. I get tired of going to several stores just to get what I need because not all stores carry the same products. The best part is their prices aren't hiked up like I expected to find, in actuality, the price point is comparable to most places, give or take. Overall, I was impressed by Pharmaca, my only criticism would be the dreaded, overly busy shopping plaza, trying to find a parking spot can be a nightmare. read more

Please don't shop here. I was so excited to have a Pharmaca in the neighborhood....but not now. They wouldn't give me credit for a transferred prescription even though I had the old packaging--because my doctor called the refill directly into their pharmacist. Then I experienced rude service by the pharmacist. Another time--they refused to give me pricing until I actually came in and brought my card--they wouldn't run it over the phone. Finally, on another prescription--my drugs were filled in plastic syringes instead of a convenient click item.,..they can't be carried in purses and look awful....not great. I will be moving my prescriptions back to People's Pharmacy. read more

I have been using Pharmaca to deliver my mother's medications to her assisted living home and I cannot be more pleased with the customer service and efficiency! They deliver 7 days a week, they have efficiently delivered refills (King Soopers could never get the refill cycles correct) and they are very quick to fill new orders. Annie calls me every time they are going to charge the more pricey medications so that we're not taken by surprise which, I believe, is great customer service! We have used another delivery pharmacy in town and they were woefully inefficient, arrogant and unwilling to provide the type of customer service we receive from Pharmaca. They have been a blessing for peace of mind and efficiency! read more
