It's sad to see how quickly this place has changed because it used to be one of my favorite places to shop. As I watched her place them back on another part of the check-out stand, I repeatedly (3x's) asked her to please place the cans in the bag for me. Her response? "THAT IS NOT PART OF HER JOB"!!!!!! I was so affronted by her attitude, especially to a senior with arthritic thumbs. I might as well have gone to Food Maxx or Food For Less or even Winco!!! Needless to say, she didn't help me bag the 16 cans. Later, around 4:00 pm, I called the Manteca Target store and asked for the Manager. I spoke with Mayra, who identified herself as the manager. She sounded appalled at what happened. She promised me she would take care of the rude service from Laura. Let's see if she does take care of what happened or she was just placating me. To make matters worse, their lunch break is posted as 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., but they didn't reopen until about 2:10 p.m. By then, there was already a long line of customers waiting. It's frustrating to see different treatment depending on who is calling, and the delayed reopening only made the wait even longer.
