Clinically dysfunctional pharmacy. Chronic short staffing. Makes Three Stooges appear to be brain surgeons in comparison. Horrible communications skills and pathetic followup. Had too many tragic experiences at pharmacy. The following is the worst one: Pharmacy kept expensive anti-cancer injection medicine at room temperature that was supposed to be refrigerated. Then counter staff member quoted me about $2500 for the pickup that was supposed to be under a medical plan with cheap copay. Leisurely asked me if I wanted to pay cash or charge without eye contact. DUH? How many of these have you ever sold at full retail price? Ya thinks maybe you would have just the slightest clue that maybe a mistake was made? After I refused non- refrigerated impotent cancer drug she said she would just send it back to vendor. OH, I see, send an impotent cancer drug back for a refund but its OK that next patient/victim could die from your negligence? My Grandmother was right. "There is nothing common about common sense". Even if their price may be a tad cheaper on a single Rx drug (which is rare) than the competition you will not save money here unless your time is worth nothing, gasoline is free, car wear is free and you actually enjoy aggravation and stress. read more

The pharmacy part of this CVS pharmacy is awful. Super long lines waiting for medications to be picked up, lost prescriptions, not filling in a called-in prescription for hours (could be days unless you stay on top of it), uncaring or overwhelmed staff. Despite the fact that this CVS is around the corner from me, I am going to have to move my prescriptions because this pharmacy is at best unpredictable. A recent example - doctor calls in a usual monthly prescription in the morning (that's for severe headaches, so it's not fun to run out). A trip to CVS at 8 pm reveals that no one is bothered to have it filled it. That information is also not revealed until you a) wait 20 minutes in pick-up line (and that was a light day for them) then b) wait another 20 minutes in drop off line to find out what happened to your prescription. You come back the next day, in the middle of snowstorm (headaches wait for no weather), to find out that they have a single pill available and don't expect to receive the rest until 4 days later at the earliest. Did someone bother to inform the patient that they would be unable to fill in the prescription? Not so much. And that is one example of many, with them being out of medications, taking days to get it, very long wait times and staff completely unmoved by the patients' frustration or discomfort. I persisted with this pharmacy because of proximity, but being able to receive prescribed meds trumps a close-by but dysfunctional pharmacy, so it's time to go to Rite Aid. read more

Update: Insurance forced me to return to this hole. Call for a refill. "There are no refills remaining. We will contract your provider. Your prescription will be ready on Thursday." Arrive Friday... Pharmacist: "We have nothing for you." Oh, well, jeez. Color me surprised. This place is the absolute worst of the worst. Pharmacist: "you should really go call your doctor for a refill." Um, correct me if I'm wrong, genius, YOU'RE supposed to do that. I told the brainless wonder to call right now, and I'll stand there and watch! They are super LAZY. They DO NOT do what they say they are going to do... in other words... THEY LIE. Do not believe a word they say, and stand there until you actually SEE them calling your doctor. I LOATHE THIS HOLE OF A PHARMACY... I'm doing mail order form now on just to avoid going into this place, which automatically raises my blood pressure! THIS CVS... SUCKS!!! read more

I have one monthly prescription that I have been getting filled at the Marlboro CVS for years. For the past 4 months, they do not have the prescription ready when requested (even if I give them more than 24 hours to prepare it) but say they will start working on it when I show up. As I stand in line - and it is a long line - I hear them tell the same thing to customer after customer. That means a mandatory wait of 20 minutes in the store. The people behind the pharmacy counter are clearly working hard, but they are also clearly understaffed, If management doesn't care about me enough to do what it takes to hire staff (increase salary, reduce hours, more bonuses, etc) then I don't want to do business here. DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY. I found out that I was given the wrong medication for the past month. If you take medication where you need it to survive or your health condition will deteriorate rapidly if you don't take the correct medication, then you do not want your prescription filled here. All I got was a luke warm apology and a refund. I will never use this pharmacy again to fill any prescriptions. I will drive to go to a better pharamacy. read more

Stay away from here. If you are buying over the counter stuff, I guess its just like any other CVS. But DO NOT get your prescriptions filled here. They are never ready when they say they are going to be, and there is ALWAYS a long line at the pharmacy. Always. I don't know if they are under-staffed or what, but its getting worse and worse every time I go. After my last visit(s) there, I'm finally switching to somewhere else. I re-fill my 3 year old daughters asthma prescription on a Tuesday night. Wednesday (the day before Thanksgiving) I get a voice mail that it won't be in stock until Friday. Fine, no big deal. I go Saturday afternoon, still not ready. They said try back Monday. Monday, during my lunch break I try again...was told today's deliveries had not come in yet, come back after 3pm. At 10pm, I go and its in stock but the pharmacy technician tries to tell me that the doctor "just called it in" and its not ready yet. She'll "expedite" it if I want to wait 20 minutes. Ummm, how did the doctor just call it in? I re-filled it 6 days ago. She basically just lied to my face. I left and went back Thursday (last night). I waited in the drive-through for over 20 minutes. There were only 2 cars ahead of me. I don't know what took so long. I guess that's my fault for being lazy and not going in. Finally get the prescription and when I get home my wife takes it out of the bag and its the wrong stuff. The prescription was clearly for .5 mg and this was .25 mg. Its an orange package instead of the usual purple package that we normally get. My wife calls and they admit their mistake and said I can come back today and switch it for the right stuff. So today will be the last time I ever set foot in this place. read more
