They've screwed up my prescriptions more than once. Although they say they have drive-up pickup, I've found it to be closed more often than open. Good luck trying to reach them by phone. If you can navigate through the annoying prompts, you're more likely to find yourself waiting 20-30 minutes before hanging up in frustration. read more

Used to be decent. Noticeable change within the past six months or so. Prescription errors, inability to reach someone via phone, abrupt demeanor by some at counter, app errors, shortage of help. They seem to be more concerned with people using the inefficient, crowded self- checkout machines than fixing the issues at the most important area of the store --- the pharmacy. Now people have to leave a voicemail to which no one responds, even after trying to use the app, which is erroneous. Serious issues are involved here, including of course, people's health. What is going on with this place? Is it going to take a major error and resulting consequences to get the attention it needs?? Finding a new pharmacy as we speak, and sad, as well as angry, that I have to. read more

WARNING: Sell expired medication with misleading and false CVS labeling on expiry date. I had picked up a life saving transplant medication called prograf in April, refilled on 04/07/2022 that came in manufacturer provided bottles. They slapped the medication package with its own(CVS provided) labels that said discard after 04/07/2023. I went with the expiry date mentioned on the CVS label and continued taking the medication until I realized the expiry date on the manufacturer provided bottles was 05/2022. At this time, I realized that I had taken the expired medication for over a month. This is outright dangerous and could have serious consequences on my long term health. When I reached out for replacement of the medication, I realized they had in stock, medications which were about to expire in a few months. The CVS practice of slapping CVS label with its own expiry date, despite the manufacturer provided expiry is false and misleading. The 1 year of expiry from the date it was filled, as mentioned on the label, does not take into account the actual expiry of the drug. If anything happens to my health, CVS would be held accountable for its negligence, misleading and dangerous practice. read more

They lose your photo print outs and they do not reimburse even if you called for updates monthly and were told every time the photos aren't ready yet until they can't find it at all. Then proceed to tell you they would call back with an update but never do FOR MONTHS then when called again they can no longer find the order number in the system! Terrible service. read more

I've been getting same prescription for months. Last time they said they could only give a week per first time using new insur. I've had this insur for 3 mos. When I went to renew pick for the one mo supply, I got the same story. I am not going to go back every week, this is ridiculous. I don't know why the computer system is wiping out my history. I'll have to call the doctor's office on Monday and have them send a brand new prescription for a full month. I come in all the time, close to work and convenient but more than that the staff are super nice, helpful with returns and the pharmacy is easy to work with and quick to respond to a transfer or a refill. I am also a coupon queen, I know who would believe it but sometimes I can get 30% off, $5.00 coupons on things I use all the time. Plus they do not see cigarettes. Genuinely concerned that the phones in the pharmacy don't work. Been trying to get a prescription refilled for a week now and the automated system hasn't been able to do it. Every time I ask to be connected to someone in the pharmacy I'm on hold for 10 minutes before I give up and hang up. I eventually called the front of the store and told them, they said they'd get me connected and I ended up on hold for 13 minutes before I hung up again. read more

Store was understaffed. Service was absolutely atrocious. Had to wait several minutes to get a can of deodorant that was locked up. Associates were very unhelpful, rude, and would not listen to what I had to say. They acted like I was a burden. I had to repeat myself several times when the self-checkout malfunctioned. They insinuated that I didn't know how to use it when I've used the machine at several locations with no issue. Refused to hand back the money already put in machine when it froze. I NEVER leave bad reviews, but this CVS is an exception. I've called the pharmacy on multiple occasions trying to get issues with my prescriptions sorted out and no one has answered. I went in once and was told that if this happened again to call the front store and let them know that I'm trying to get ahold of the pharmacy and they can run back to the pharmacy to let someone know. I just tried this and I explained the situation and they told me they could transfer me to the pharmacy. I asked them not to and explained again. I got the same response. I said please don't transfer me as I can't get through on that line and without a word I was transferred and put on hold on the pharmacy line. This is the second infuriating experience at this specific CVS and it's safe to say I will not be using this CVS location again. read more

I keep telling myself when I leave, don't come back here for prescriptions. There are other options, notably the Walgreens across the street (though I always find parking much more difficult there). And yet, I continually forget because for the past 10 years plus, I've always gone to the local CVS when I need a script filled. I like shopping at CVS, but not this one. The pharmacy staff are completely unhelpful and if they can, will give you two different answers. Once they argued with me when my health insurance didn't cover a medicated cough syrup, and that I should just pay the $55. Yup, I have an extra $55 to splurge on cough syrup these days-- I think not. Oh, and then there was the time they never called my name when I was waiting for my prescriptions to be filled. I sat there patiently for an hour, before finally asking where my meds were and it wasn't like the staff didn't know I was there-- I dropped off and sat down in their view. Just today the girl took my script, asked if it was okay that they had to order it, and that I could pick it up tomorrow. And then it was like 20 questions trying to find out how I would know when the prescription was ready to pick up on the next day. Ridiculous, if you ask me. Other than the numerous poor experiences at the pharmacy, the store itself isn't bad. A seemingly nice selection that I've browsed while waiting. It's probably been renovated since the other person reviewed it, as it is spacious and clean. I just really hate their pharmacy staff. read more

I have always loved this CVS and went out of my way to go there even though there is one much closer to my home. But in the last few months there has been a switch in management. The pharmacy is always excellent. But at the front of the store in the checkout area there is one particular annoying man who is there all the time. He is quite rude, has no customer service or social skills. I would advise not to ask him any questions. It's frustrating. I've been having some trouble with my eyes for some time (Thank you allergies) and came in around 10pm on Memorial Day to speak to a pharmacist and pick up my prescription. The pharmacist was very friendly, and allocated ~15min talking with me about what might be causing the irritation, and how the prescribed medication would help. The store is very clean, and has everything a CSV should have, with decent prices. Reason it's a 4/5 is because it's not easy to access by public transportation. Really unimpressed with the pharmacy. I just moved to the area and explained I needed to transfer my prescriptions. They seemed accommodating, made a patient profile, and got my information and the information of my previous pharmacy. I was told to come in the next day for pick up. I did. Not only had my scripts not been filled, they did not have a profile on me in the system and never contacted my former pharmacy. So. That's really frustrating. I went to the Walgreens across the street instead, with no problems to report. Need a 24 hour convenience store? This'll do, but there are better pharmacies in the area. read more

I think some people over there need to get their act together. I planned my trip to redeem some extrabucks I earned. The cashier informed me that I could not use them to buy milk? The manager concurred...Really?? Hmm... I wonder why I was able to do that a few days ago. Whether the other manager had it right or whether he had the discretion to override the payment system, the fact remains: the same set of rules should apply regardless of the staff 'du jour', so that customers can plan accordingly. Pharmacy is full of incompetent people. I take important psych medications that are vital to my health. Cvs makes you do a 90 day refill for non scheduled prescriptions. My psychiatrist is never made aware when he is to send more prescriptions until sometimes the day of. This delays my much needed prescriptions needed to function normally. Some of these prescriptions if not filled in time could send me into psychosis. I am on scheduled IV prescriptions and every time I bring a script to be filled, I get that all too knowing glance of disapproval. They constantly do not fill these prescriptions correctly as the dates to fill in the computer are wrong. I do not appreciate their judgement or their incompetency. I am in the healthcare field and I'm very aware of my medications. I asked once for advice from the pharmacist and it was basic. The worst is trying to get a prescription filled if you need to call. The technicians picking up the phone don't know generic names or even brand names at times. This cvs is beyond frustrating. I am taking my prescriptions elsewhere. Cvs is a conglomerate that does not care about their patients and the pharmacists are just doing their job. Shame on them. I do more teaching to patients these days as no one is correctly telling them how to take their medications. If they had done their job right to begin with, this wouldn't be needed. read more

Great news, so I go to the drive through, making this my last stop of my errands before I can go home and make dinner for the family, ring the call bell, smile at the guy who tells me, "Oh, it isn't ready yet. Come back in 20 minutes." I reply sadly, "But the voicemail said it was ready." The guys says, "We are really busy. Come back in 20." Womp, womp. Wouldn't be as big of a deal, except just the day before, I got the same treatment. And the last time I picked up a prescription there it was the same thing. And the time before that the same. I don't have a need to fill prescriptions often but when I do, it is the same old deal. I get a message that it is ready, I go to pick it up and it is never ready. NEVER. Why don't I learn? I should have known better. Now granted, when I came back in 20 minutes it was in fact ready, but still. Don't voicemail message me to tell me that I can pick up my prescription at my earliest convenience when that isn't the reality. This was not convenient. It is never convenient. I'm going to transfer all my family's prescription needs to Target. One star for the friendly staff (they are always friendly and seem to be sorry for the inconvenience) and the drive through, one star for the 24 hours. (Good thing they are 24 hours, it seems they are always backed up.) That is about all this place has going for it. read more

I had a negative experience at this CVS store. Yesterday I had a CVS lady worker walk out on me when all I was trying to do was to clarify the mishandling and miscommunication of my film photos. I dropped off my single use film in mid October and I was told it would only take about 4 to 6 weeks to develop. Long story short it took almost two months for them to develop my photos. I called the store last week and the same CVS lady that I mentioned above told me that the status of my photos have not been processed and that because of the busy holiday season Kodak is behind on orders and low on staff. She told me that I would have to wait another 4 to 6 weeks, maybe seven. As a customer I should not have to wait another month to receive my photos. I thought that was absurd, so yesterday I called the photo related service for CVS (Sunday November 28) and they actually informed me that my photo was all set and sent to the store to be developed on 10/28. Clearly there was a miscommunication on that lady's part and she never properly checked on the status of my photos. I got a call from that same lady on the same day I called and my photos were now somehow ready. When I went into the store to pick them up that same lady never apologized to me and instead when I called her out she just walked out on me when all I was trying to do was to discuss her mishandling of my photos. I was left feeling frustrated, confused and very upset with her lack of customer service. I had a different sales associate approach me and he apologized on her behalf. He was very professional and understanding. No disrespect on that lady's part, but there are some great workers here at this CVS store who genuinely assist their customers and work to solve any concerns, but she unfortunately is not one of them. I then called customer service/headquarters right away about my negative experience and they have put in my complaint. I really hope the Manager there or someone higher up actually speaks to that CVS lady about her lack of professionalism and clearly her lack of communication. You should never treat a customer that way. I am still left feeling morbidly upset. I am writing this so that I hope another customer does not ever have to go through this negative and stressful experience that I have been through. I will never develop my photos here again. read more
