My husband had surgery this past Tuesday, and his doctor's office sent 4 scripts to this pharmacy since it's close to our place. A half hour goes by and when we get to the window, they don't even see prescriptions in their system. We check with his doctor they did indeed send them to this location. The doctor's office then tries to call and get a hold of someone but they are just put on hold. Mind you, this pharmacy is dead. No customers at the counter, no phones ringing, nothing. I know what a busy pharmacy looks like and this was not one of them. We go home to wait since he needed to lie down so I figured I would go back out and get the scripts. After multiple calls from us and his doctor they finally got them in their system, but told us that it would take 3 hours to fill. 3! All 4 rxs are frequent fliers that are stocked at all pharmacies so this was unacceptable. We pushed back saying we really need them sooner considering my husband just had surgery, especially since one was an antibiotic and at this point we were about 4 hours post op. They were eventually filled and I picked them up. All 3 people I could see in the pharmacy were standing around and joking when I walked up to the counter. No reason I should've been told 3 hours to wait for my prescriptions. He won't ever be using this pharmacy again considering there's a CVS right around the corner by the Falls. From the looks of the other reviews, it seems this is a pattern with this Walgreens pharmacy. Never again.

I did meet once Jose the store manager and he was very professional and did the right think for me. There is never enough organic chicken or organic meats. And I get it everyone is eating healthier these days. However, in recent months I have asked for rain checks when out of items. Frank one of the managers in that department is not open to accept rain checks and yesterday I had a poor experience with him as he accepted my rain check changing the price to meet the rain check. He was angry. This was a terrible experience. At this location showing has become not pleasurable at all. I never thought I would write a negative review on Publix. It's one of my favorites places to shop, except maybe e this location.

This is not what healthcare is supposed to look like. Patients rely on pharmacies during vulnerable moments, and this level of disregard is honestly disturbing. I had to go out of my way to another pharmacy, where I was treated with basic human decency and got my medication without any issue.(WALGREENS) CVS seriously needs to do better when it comes to hiring and training staff.
