If I could give negative stars I would. Super disappointed with this pharmacy. I picked up a prescription for my baby daughter, and the bottle wasn't sealed properly--medicine ended up spilling all over my bag. I didn't even notice until I got home and smelled something weird. What was supposed to be 14ml ended up being just 5ml. Tried calling the pharmacy a few times before finally getting through. When I explained what happened, they didn't apologize or seem to care at all. They just told me to come back and pick up more. Luckily my husband was able to go because I had both kids with me. Honestly, this kind of mistake is really careless, especially when it involves a baby's medication. Not sure why urgent care sent the prescription here. For a place that's open 24/7, it's really not run well. Wish I had read the reviews first--seems like this kind of thing happens a lot. Definitely wouldn't recommend this pharmacy. This pharmacy is the worst pharmacy in the area. Tonight, I was told my medication was not ready even though it was called in 8 hours prior and recalled in to confirm how to authorize my med. The night shift pharmacist had me wait in line for over 30 minutes to get this information and before even acknowledging me. He does not show compassion or helpfulness. I am diabetic and was told ohh we don't have your medicine ready or in stock. I drove off and will not be returning. Worst customer service at this pharmacy. I haven't been here in a looooong time and today I needed to get some medicine for my daughter and coincidently this location was on my way. Extremely organized, with wonderful promotions and discounts on Christmas and holiday decorations. They are already selling the New Years props, hats etc. The cash register lady was very nice with me and besides giving me a smile which I love she helped me get a coupon for my things. If I could give the pharmacy at this CVS a zero I would...I had a virtual doctors visit and I waited 45 minutes before heading out to check on my 2 prescriptions. Mind you, the doctors submit it systematically right after the virtual session ends and it usually takes no more than 20 minutes. Since I wasn't getting any texts or notifications letting me know the prescriptions were ready, I took it upon myself to call the pharmacy to check the status. I was on hold for 3-5 minutes and then I hear the phone is picked up and hung up immediately, really?? So I head over reluctantly since I'm running a fever of over 100 and when I get there, the pharmacist doesn't even find my prescriptions...before you ask, YES I was at the correct pharmacy, I was delirious but I got that part right lol. I tell them to check again and of course upon further inspection, the find it but have not even begun to fill the prescription!!! My heart rate is elevated, my fever is climbing, I'm beside myself. Wow all I can say is DO NOT go through the cvs pharmacy drive through line here. I am writing this as I currently wait for 30+ minutes in a line that had only two cars in front of me. I would've left 20 minutes ago if I wasn't blocked in on both sides. The other lane has had at least 4 cars get their prescriptions and leave so I am not sure why they would let this lane take so long. The customer should be told to move if they are waiting a long time for a medication. Everything else about this location is fine but this is a serious and inconveniencing issue. read more

This CVS has all the same junk every other CVS has, so I'm reviewing on customer service, and how easy it is or isn't to make a quick stop here to buy something. The check-out lines here are absurd. I just don't understand why it takes so long for some people to exchange valuable consideration for goods at check-out. Why is it so difficult; why do some people have to stand there and hog one cashier for minutes at a time? What is wrong with these people? It is as if they have no idea how to participate in a simple consumer transaction. I'm sure the long lines can be explained by the mere fact that 3 out of 4 people who shop here are total imbeciles who shouldn't be allowed to reproduce, but even so, no excuses for CVS - management here needs to do a much better job of keeping the line moving. The only redeeming values of this CVS are that it contains a Minute Clinic (which I gave 5 stars) and that it's a 24-hour location. However, even at midnight, it's a near-certainty that you will spend more time standing in line than you would like. read more

I go to this pharmacy for convience of it being 24 hours since I tend to work late hours. Today I went through the drive through and discovered my doctor accidentally sent it to the wrong cvs. Claudio had a big attitude and didn't offer to help out. I left and called my doctor to correct the pick up. Hour pass and I went back. Again (different person) said my medication was not in and apologized. I decided to get off and get inside to see if we can speed up the process instead of holding up the drive through. When I got to the counter that is when I heard Claudio talking about me and saying "I told that girl already we don't have the medication!" I guess he wasn't expecting me to actually come inside so I told him yea I'm that girl and I want my medication solved. He got really quiet and told me he would take care of it. Don't understand how he was able to get my medication in 5 minutes when he was insistent earlier with an attitude that I don't have my medication there. Not only are they slow to help and basically walk around and around doing nothing - they are rude and don't fill the prescriptions without a hassle. I dropped off a prescription on Thursday morning and went to pick it up Saturday evening. It wasn't ready, they said they needed more information from the doctor and didn't call or inform me of anything. Staff is somewhat friendly, the pharmacy is great, and the minute clinic is too. But, the food in the refrigerator area is usually expired and the potato chips are too sometimes, so I always check the expiration dates. I like this one mainly because of its location and because it's open 24-hours. I always find myself shopping here for the cosmetics, medicine, and household supplies. Great customer service. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the staff at the register. I walked down the main isle looking for the pet section but within moments a staff member stopped me to ask if I needed help. He walked me directly to the pet section which was so nice! I also went to drop off a prescription and the team at the pharmacy turned it around quickly. I probably waited 10 mins tops. They also took the time to ask me if I needed my prescription explained or if I had any questions about it. Very nice experience full of personal touches. read more

The worst service I've ever experienced in a CVS takes place right here. I came to drop off a disposable camera and when I asked the cashier what the procedure was she told me she had no clue and to take it up with the head of the photo section. So I went to the lady supposedly in charge of the photo section and she rudely told me to take it up with the manager. I mean seriously, I was dropping off a camera to get it developed is it that hard!! In the end I figured it out myself with no help from anyone. It served its purpose, I needed to pick up some cream and I quickly found it. There is self check-out, which maybe should help alleviate the issue of long lines that many mentioned, and perhaps this was something that may have been unavailable in the past. There was somewhat of a line for the self check-out, but no line at the cash registers, so I was in and out in about 5 minutes. Customer service was fine. I cannot speak for their pharmacy or Minute Clinic services, though, as I did not use those. read more

This CVS pharmacy is the absolute worst! Their staff is always lost and my prescription is NEVER ready when promised. I always have to call when I'm on my way to pick it up and the answer is ALWAYS "oh... it's not ready" even if I send the refill request a day before. There is always a line and a large group of customers waiting on their prescription which shows lack of organization. I don't see how the store isn't able to handle the volume with the 6+ staff on hand. Yesterday, was the absolute final straw as I went from the hospital to pick up some medicine for severe back pain. I called ahead to remind them to have it ready and the staff told me she'd have it ready in 20 minutes. 30 minutes later (and 1.5 hours after the nurse called it in) and it hasn't even been started. The manager has the audacity to tell me that it's impossible his staff would have told me 20 minutes. Long story short, I'm pending a call back from the district manager so I can file a formal complaint. If they sent out a survey to their customers, I can guarantee I wouldn't be the only one voicing a negative opinion of the pharmacy. read more

The employees at this pharmacy come and go every few months, occasionally there will be someone working here who actually does their job and seems to know what's going on regarding your prescriptions and general pharmacy stuff, but most of the people who work here just don't care and anyone who is a good worker here gets promoted or transferred to a different location eventually and you're left with strangers who don't care to understand your particular circumstances. I've had prescriptions filled wrongly countless times and then once they actually deleted the prescription from the system and thankfully someone remembered me and was able to help. They take FOREVER to answer the phone and forever to fill prescriptions (up to a week at times for something that wasn't in stock.) The pharmacist who works during the day Monday - Friday is a good guy but most of the other employees there care less about you than they do at a place like McDonald's, it's ridiculous. They are open 24/7 which is nice, they are almost always busy though and the staff at night and on the weekends especially is horrible. The store itself is nice, as this is a larger location than most, so if you're just shopping not patronizing the pharmacy, this CVS is pretty good. But if you're looking for a pharmacy that will treat you like a human being, go elsewhere, there's a CVS on every corner in Kendall, so it shouldn't be difficult to find another one. I really do wish they would employ better staff & most importantly, teach them how to do their jobs and that caring about customers is part of that, because they get deliveries more often than most other CVS locations and the medication I get every month usually needs to be ordered (because I need a specific generic brand) but I will not be going here again if I can help it because more than half of the staff here can't seem to put an order in correctly. read more

My biggest gripe with this location is that the cashiers are always busy assisting people in the self-service lanes because the self-service user interface seems to confuse lots of people and also breaks-down a lot. As a result, it takes forever to checkout with an actual cashier. read more

Lines can get a little long but that's because no one uses the self service area, come on people!
