Two issues: First one was that I submitted a script and I was told that only 2 of the three meds were available. My option was to take the script with me or he would order the third med. no guarantee it would be delivered today and there are no deliveries on Saturday. I asked if another cvs had it and he said I don't know. Didn't offer any advice on how to source the med for my 4 year old that really needed it. Second issue when picking up the meds I asked if she could release what she just told me her response was just read the label. I dealt with two different individuals and I think they were both unprofessional. Crappy vibe from them overall. I found the third medication I needed down the street at the other cvs but I drove over there to find out myself and the very friendly girl that helped there said they could of called her to check if she had it. I imagine that's a courtesy call and not policy but a little effort would of been greatly appreciated. read more

The pharmacy department does not know the eligibility rules for the omicron vaccine. I made an appointment and was cleared to receive the vaccine, but when I gave the clerk, Ms. Yoo, my vaccine card, she said I was not eligible because I had already received a 2nd booster shot, albeit over 5 months ago (I'm over 60). My wife and other seniors had no problem getting their omicron shots at other CVS locations the past few days, and I informed the clerk of this, but she stubbornly stuck to her story that the current omicron vaccine equates to the 2nd COVID booster, and those who already received a 2nd booster are not eligible for the omicron vaccine. I ended up getting the omicron shot at a different CVS where they understand the eligibility rules. I also called the hotline at vaccines.gov, and they verified that this MPK CVS was wrong to deny me the latest vaccine. I'm giving 2 stars because this is my first bad encounter with this store. I've used this location 2-3 dozen times in the last 30 years, and before today it's been pretty routine. It's just frustrating having my time wasted by a stubborn clerk who doesn't know what she's talking about. read more

The lady working names Audrey was extremely rude. I was waiting in line and I was next. Then she told me to go use self check out in such an attitude. Like I was in line for a reason with only one person behind me. I didn't want to use self checkout because I feel more comfortable going to a cashier. The worst staff I've ever dealt with in any customer service capacity. I called this morning to refill a prescription and the pharmacist who claims his name is Duey Lee hung up after I asked for some clarification on what I believed was a mistake. I was given a 30 day prescription for what my doctor said was a 90 day refill. The pharmacist hung up on me when I tried to ask for the clarification. I called back to ask for a manager or someone to speak with and he hung up again. Although my patronage is small and just a drop in the bucket, it's very clear they do not have good customer service, and that the "pharmacist" does not care to the point where hanging up twice on a customer is ok in his world. read more

Avoid this CVS!!! I have never experienced such rude and unprofessional customer service. I recently was their with my children and I dared to ask if they had more cashier assistance because there were many customers waiting in line. At which point the manager herself and the cashier both raised their voices at me in a very rude and confrontational way. The manager said if I didn't like it then I could use the self-service kiosk (which were all being used and every customer was having problems with). I chose to wait in line for the also rude cashier. I don't like self service kiosks because I don't like the idea of a machine taking a persons job, especially when their cost-saving automation does not translate to cost-savings for customers; it's just more profit for the corporation. But at least a machine won't give you attitude and horrible customer service. read more

There's nothing special about this pharmacy. The restrooms are always dirty. Most of the pharmacy technicians always look unhappy and are not too friendly. However, despite all the cons to this CVS.. the pharmacist Duy is amazing! He's always so nice and attentive! He's the only reason I continue to get my prescriptions filled here. He always works the graveyard shifts so I purposely go in at night to get my refills to combat dealing with the other not so nice employees. read more

This pharmacy is the absolute worst. If it wasn't for the fact that it's the closest 24 hour pharmacy I wouldn't come here. They dont fill your prescriptions in a timely manner. You get alerts saying your prescription is ready and it's not. You have to hound them to make sure they check the incoming prescriptions just to make sure it gets filled. They're always hanging around helping me and asking me if there's anything I need help in. You should also take advantage of the coupons, after you make a purchase, they flood your receipts with coupons, for future purchases. This place has come in handy for me many times. So I was looking for an American crew forming cream. Went to one CVS and they didn't have it. Came to this one further down and they had it BUT when they went to get the key to that cabinet, the lady comes back and tells me that they just installed the lock or whatever and they don't have the key to it. I asked "what are you guys going to do?" And I was talking in general like how are you going to make a sale if you don't have a key to your cabinets. She responds "we can't sell it today!". Really?! It's not a big problem comparing to the world problems but it's annoying when companies or stores like this just don't give a damn if they don't serve some of the customers because they don't care and they've made enough money to not care for losing some of their customers. Waited another 20 mins to talk to the doctor to get my prescription back. Updated to 2 stars instead of 1 because the doctor was very apologetic for the long wait under my current condition with a fever. Worked on my meds right away, finally was able to leave this place after 1 hour 45 mins Stopped here after a visit to the ER . Turn in my prescription and was told to come back for pick up after 1 hour. The process of just turning in my prescription took about almost 10 mins. This is the longest I have ever spent waiting for the lady to process my prescription . Then 1 hour later, was told they are so backed up, they haven't worked on my prescription at all. And through out this whole time , they didn't pick up any pharmacy calls . I can barely stand so I have to ask for a copy of my prescription and turn it in tomorrow at a pharmacy closer to me. Why I wanna rate a Pharmacy??!!! Here is the answer I have the highest insurance type from ATENA, provided to me by my employer, and with that they still take a copay from me every time I come to them to get my medications!!!! One time in this semester, I became very ill and took me weeks with several medications for me in order to get better. I wondered one time why they always take money from me as a copay, they told me: "It is the policy". Thus, I decided to try rite aid pharmacy in the cross street, and guess what, I took from them so far 4 prescriptions and DIDN'T PAY EVEN ONE SINGLE DOLLAR AS A COPAY!!!!!! When you pull up to this 24 hours cvs at the wee hours of the night you're left wondering if they're really 24 hours or not. You see, after 10pm they seem to lock up the gate and it's like a scene out of clerks where they just tape up a piece of paper that reads "Yes, we're open!" I wonder if Dante and Randal are on the roof playing hockey during the third shift. But you really shouldn't be looking to this place for customer service. The biggest indicator that you wont get any from this place has to be the self-check outs that are not only encouraged to use, but it's to the point that they're pushed on you because no one wants to actually run a register here unless it's absolutely necessary. It's a 24 hour CVS, so that's the big benefit. Be aware that it's typically always messy as hell. The magazine area is always a mess. Which I guess means you're just not going to find anything you want. On the bright side, they do have a pretty extensive selection of alcohol and beer to choose from. Well, it's not that huge, but they have some pretty good choices you can pick from in the matter. Be warned that they have a lot of expired/close to expired merchandise, so be an informed consumer and check the dates. If you're feeling like you could use some personal reward, you can always point it out to one of the workers or call the customer service number. read more

It's hard for me to keep a straight face while yelping about CVS because a friend of mine and I once had a conversation about what the hell CVS stood for and decided to come up with dirty names for what we thought it stood for. It's good to act like a 16 year old boy sometimes. And imagine me with a mischievous smile on my face Anyway, I love me my CVS. I can refill my prescriptions over the phone and even pick what time I want to pick it up. You have to give them at least an hour but still, way to go CVS and your 24-hour pharmacy. I go in today because with this freezing weather my sensitive skin gets ridiculously dry. I wander over to the face wash/face lotions aisle pretending that I know what the hell I'm looking for. And then, Christina, Cosmetics Manager (love that they even have one, and she's around!) comes to my rescue and talks to me about my skin and what I'm looking for and then makes a great recommendation and throws in some free samples of stuff. And unlike the stupid Rite Aid across the street in Atlantic Square, you don't stand in line for a half hour because there's only one check stand open. Yeah, Sav-On was cool too but when change is for the better, you don't miss what was once just okay. read more

After the person in front of me was done being helped, I stepped up and she disappears for a very long time. I finally see her chatting away with another person. When she returned, she asked w/ attitude if i had been helped. OF COURSE NOT! YOU'RE THE ONE SUPPOSED TO BE HELPING ME. The rest of the experience wasn't any better as she showed her incompetence when trying to find my file and filling a simple prescription. My SUGGESTION.. drive down the street towards the 60 and go to the CVS in Montebello. They're a LOT nicer and competent and have been very helpful every time i've went. The Filipino pharmacist at this CVS wanted to make me get back in line after i was in line for 25 minutes. I brought his black Eyed having ass the proof he asked for and then could not proceed to chexk me out. wtf? I needed my insulin shot and he wanted to make me wait ONE HOUR to pay for a pack of syringes! I needed my shot! I walked out and drove across Atlantic Blvd and went to RITE AID. Well, same problem! The female Asian pharmacist did not question me like the Filipino guy did, and RITE AID employees did what was expected. This cvs is so un organized went to fill a prescription because it was the closest 24hr pharmacy around...it took me 1hr to wait in line to hand them my prescription 2nd! After I hand them my prescription she takes 25min to tell my my insurance does not cover a prescription that was $10 really!!! O wait but she can give me a discount ok meanwhile she is helping me shes talking to the pharmacist the other pharmacy techs about other people's prescriptions like really I dont care to know what other people have! By this time we are literally 25min into her still typing idk what on the computer! I told her to give me back my prescriptions and I would take them elsewhere!
