This morning I went in to the pharmacy to pick up my refill medication and the lady that helped me out was so rude, I did not get her name but she's old and blonde with curly hair she made a rude comment about me with another coworker named Adela who proceeded to make a rude comment about the situation. This Pharmacy is one of the best I have been too. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly. It is very organized and clean. If you ask anyone that works there for help they will attend you immediately. They have their own parking structure and you will always find a spot. Sometimes it gets a little packed inside, but I usually don't make any lines to purchase something. You have to wait awhile if you need to fill a prescription, but they have chairs where you can wait. If you don't want to wait you can either come back or take a walk. There are a lot of restaurants and stores next to the pharmacy. Most of the time there is a man selling churros outside too if you want to get one. Last time I went I left a prescription, but I just wanted the prices and they told me to wait 20 minutes. I went to Arco across the street to pump gas and came back. It wasn't even 20 minutes and I asked if it was ready. They gave me the prices right away and it wasn't too bad. I just didn't have the money at the precise moment. I went back another day because they told me I didn't even need a prescription. read more

I was in the area after seeing a Podiatric and my husband suggested I come here. I walk in, drop off my prescriptions, and was advised it was a 40min wait. I don't live in the area nor around the corner therefore decided to grab something to eat and kill time. Fast forward, 40min have gone by and I successfully pick up my prescriptions. Terrible. They never seem to receive the prescription orders from the doctors. "We didn't receive it" "I don't see anything" "Call your provider." I'm so done hearing this over and over. I'm switching to CVS where I never had issues before I moved to East LA AND they have an app to help you track your orders. Haven't picked up any meds here by I've gone in quite a few times to pick up a few things. I've also called for information. The people there seem nice and patient. This place is pretty busy so I'm surprised I haven't got a rude person over the phone or seen anything of that sort when I've gone in to purchase items. Parking can get pretty full and the location is on two busy streets so expect traffic at almost all hours of the day. Busses will make you want to honk your horn until it doesn't honk anymore but the pharmacy staff might make you smile read more

Lorena Pharmacy is definitely not your typical neighborhood pharmacy. Sure, it has everything you would find at the big chain pharmacies like Save On, Walgreen's and CVS. But the over-the-counter medications are the something extra you can find only at Lorena. Every ointment, salve, cream, pill, syrup and concoction you can imagine. Many Asian medications like Tiger Balm, but mostly imports from Mexico, Central America and the rest of Latin America. Cough remedies normally only found south of the border, special shampoos for dandruff and hair loss no one else carries, or doesn't carry in as much variety and quantity. The pharmacy counter is always manned by about a dozen pharmacists, and techs, ready to answer all your questions in English, or Spanish. A definite community asset. If you need more raw natural medicinal products, such as teas and herbs, try Hierbas de Mexico, a herbal superstore a few blocks away also on Whittier Boulevard. read more

This pharmacy is fantastic! During these hard times it's nice to find a store that was just so helpful and wanted to help you. I needed a special over-the-counter drug that I was have a hard time getting and other chain pharmacies...I googled the drug I need and Lorena Pharmacy came up so... I called them. One of their representatives ,Rosa, handled my phone call. She was absolutely wonderful. Even though I not in their delivery zone...,iI'm over 20 miles away from them...@they were willing to deliver by the next day. I was also able to order a larger quantity of that medication for my mother-in-law on the phone with them and they promised me she would have it in two days. I highly recommend trying this local pharmacy if you live in Los Angeles or any of the outside areas of Los Angeles example Glendale, Tarzana, etc. they were very helpful, very nice, and honestly it just felt like there was a certain amount of caring that you got... and that I got what I needed at a reasonable time. They also can order anything you need if they don't have it in stock... Which is what they did for me. And if you call them ask for Rosa... She is an absolute sweetheart! This place was close by and I wanted to give it a try after reading the reviews on Yelp. The Pharmacist named David was extremely kind and genuinely cared about our time and my wife's health! They accepted all insurance and the wait time for our medications were short. I love to support small independent businesses and this one deserves all the stars for customer service. A community pharmacy with ample parking. This place is always crowded. The pharmacist have always been courteous. Nice clean place, however kind of pricey. No negative comments except for the waiting time to get your prescription filled. If you don't want to wait you have the option to drop it off and pick it up filled at a later time. Really love this pharmacy but I had an incident the other day with this lady her tag said adela. She was being so rude to me and tossed my medicine bag on the counter and was just having the worst attitude ever! I like thee staff there always and I'll keep coming back but won't to get medicine from her again. From the beginning, she gave me issues about my address, about my name, my phone number... literally everything.
