Wow where to begin.. so many memories!! Ok so this CVS (like every other CVS) is a little expensive but when you're a bored 18-yr old college student with no permission to go out on a Friday night CVS becomes your playground! I've lost count of the times I've come here because there's no other fun place near Montebello that's open 24-hrs. I may be an older person but dang what happened to customer service and being friendly? Bad enough California gets you for recycling fees on electronics when you have to purchase a last minute computer item. And you have to pay for bags when shopping but my receipt didn't print and the guy at the register acted like I shot his dog, especially because I don't have my email attached to the card. And another associate Who wants spam and all the emails from CVS. I came here tonight to get a couple of things and I've been coming here for 6 years now, and some cholo with tattoos that just started working there, I guess they got desperate and hired him, anyways the self check out tells me there's a problem and to wait for an employee, he then says out loud with a attitude "what's wrong" like seriously that's your job to come and check it's not my fault your broke and have to work there. read more

I called again today and got through to the pharmacist this time. He told me they were out of stock of the Pneumonia vaccine I need, and suggested I go to the pharmacy where I normally fill my prescriptions, which sounds reasonable, but CVS is advertising free pneumonia vaccines, if they are going to promote a service they should at least have the product in stock and available. Why encourage people to come in for something they don't have? It borders on false advertising. read more

This pharmacy, I called in to ask of two different products because I dont have a car and buses are very scarce and few during covid 19, I had to walk for 45 mins just to get here. This Mexican woman who answered (not being racist just dont know her name) was too lazy to properly check what products I was trying to find. The first product that I wanted to buy two of each, had only one left (I could have just ordered it online you know if this is the case). She told me there was three at first. And the second product she told me it doesn't exist anymore. As I came to the store, it was right up there very much well stocked. Why do people love to generalize products? Dont they know that a place like Los Angeles has too many specifix, niche products? Lazy and undiscerning, man... I called her the next day before I could come just to be sure the products were still available, especially because the first product always runs out, she answered it with such a snarky and rude tone, "I told you we already checked yesterday! We have it!" My husband and I called just to be very sure that there were 2 of the 1st product and buying the second product too. And she just hung up on me? Wtf. So unfriendly, so rude, she should get fired. Great proper customer service over here! She should try to be more sensitive in serving customers during covid 19. read more

Very good selection of items and the employees are typically friendly. The two stars are due to a recent encounter with the Pharmacist during a consultation. Very insensitive and dismissive when I tried to ask a question. He was backing away from me before even finishing his sentence. I guess when you fail the bedside manner class in med school, you become a pharmacist instead. read more

Most people who work at this CVS are very rude especially this cashier name Rosalinda. I noticed that when people ask her questions she rolls her eyes and always whispering to the cashier/her co-worker next to her and has no shame doing it in front of you. Next, the coupon machine there is always broken and I'm talking about every single time I go there it's always broken and when you ask for help they don't really help and all they say is "Oh, it's been broken". Yup, that's the answer I get. I heard one of the customer ask a person who works there saying "Can someone fix this machine. The coupons are not printing and my phone number still shows on the screen" and the worker said "it's been broken. I'll try to fix it but you gonna have to wait cause I'm busy". ridiculous. The pharm tech A. cortez is so uneducated, slow, unprofessional, rude and have no customer service skill what so ever !!!! I placed an order for a 60 pills , but she gave me 30 pills . To top it off, she doesnt say Hi, how can i help you, nothing ! She doesnt say thank you. I gave her the digital coupon that I had and kept on saying yes I applied it , with an attitude!! Slowest service ever. Took hours to get a prescription. Stood in line for almost 35 min then told medication wasn't ready. That it would be about another 30 min. Waited abt 30 min and was never notified if ready. Got in pick up line and waited another 35-40 min. Will never get a prescription here again read more

If you dont value your time, this is the perfect pharmacy to come to. They are understaffed, and the few staff that are working are horrifically incompetent, and magnificently rude. They failed to prescribe my electronically submitted rx correctly and what should have been a 5 minute pick up process became a 1 hour ordeal. The one positive is the fact that they are 24 hours but the reality is that waiting for the next day to pick your medication up from a better ran pharmacy is much more worthwhile of your time and efforts. read more

The absolute worst restroom I have even seen. Employees must use another because it's completely disgusting. The urinal, toilet and walls have little hairs all over. I have no clue how but when I went two times within a 2 month span it was the same. I got so disgusted the 2nd time I choose to hold my pee a extra 20 mins. For that reason alone they get 1 star. The poor reviews about the pharmacy here doesn't even begin to describe how bad the service is I had a bad experience a couple of months ago. And I drove to the store during my lunch to formally complain in person. I checked in for my sons medication. A steroid for his Croup. They took my information and told me 15 MINUTES. I asked my mom to do the favor of picking it up. 90 mins later she shows up, gets in line, they tell her "it's not ready", 15 MORE MINS. So she shops around, in their store, gets in line 20 mins later, just to be told "they didn't have the medication in stock!!" And that was all they said. No apology. Horrible customer service. My mom had to ask them to please contact another CVS to see if it was in stock somewhere else. Management apologized to me. I've been a loyal customer for years. I mistakenly thought I should give it a second chance. I was wrong. Took my 2 year old to the ER. Dropped off her Rx. I was told an hour. Thought it was long but maybe they're busy. This was at 725. My husband gets in line at 840, over an hour later, just to be told it's not ready. To wait another 15 mins. So now I am at home trying to keep my fussy 2 year old awake so that she can at least get one dosage of her medication. I'm done. I'll be taking my pharmacy business elsewhere. read more

I def don't come here for the service nor the jazzy 94.7FM The Wave tunes. I try to remember what I am shopping for before I walk-in cuz I'll tend to wander into diff aisles and lose myself. N ironically, whenever I am here going back and forth through the aisles I'll hear "Security, Please Scan All Aisles"...gulp... paranoia sets in. The service def sucks here. Bonnie, older Asian nerdy-looking lady is always there and has no personality. My returns/exchanges have never been a problem. For some reason, there is no more than 1 cashier available. Not until the line goes past 2 or 3 aisles will they call another cashier to attend. They have a drive-thru pharmacy at this location for those of you with medical needs. Worst pharmacy ever. I can never get a hold of them on the phone. The other day I was at another cvs and they needed to speak to them, they were on hold for over 20 minutes. That is beyond tolerable. I also had to pick up meds for my dad. The doctors office called the prescription in at 10 am. I went to pick it up at 6. I had to wait an hour for it. I had no choice but to wait because it was my dads high blood pressure meds. It's constantly the same issues with the staff at this pharmacy. I like how this location is open 24 hours and they never have empty shelves. Some CVS have bare shelves and aren't even a 24 hour location. The staff here are always so friendly even at 230am. I frequent this location on my break which falls between these early morning hours. The store is never in disarray, even though many stores choose this time to restock shelves. read more

It gets a 2 star just because it's open 24/7 I come to this location all the time, and I make use of my cvs card and try to earn rewards, The pharmacist is always helpful if u need help with anything, The rest of the employees may sometimes seem unhelpful, they say hi when u walk in at night, however the lines to pay suck!! They always make you use the self checkouts! There may be a line and might only have one register open an then everyone else be told to use the self check out, I'm anti self checkouts but here it's a must use. read more
