I am so grateful to Natalie and her whole pharmacy team. I literally came running in with three minutes to spare before they closed with a kidney infection that was quite painful. They couldn't have been more gracious and kind. They filled my anabiotic within five minutes. I am so grateful for wonderful people like Natalie and her team. I ordered a same day banner 05/22 morning. Drive to Napa from Vallejo (Vallejo didn't have vinyl to print) in the evening. They printed it wrong and said to come back in an hour. Called an hour later before coming back and they said they didn't have the vinyl. When the order was place and materials were not in stock we should have gotten a call. When we left after it was wrong, they should have called when they realized they didn't have the materials. Please don't waste peoples time or money. Call them! read more

I had the worst experience here today. I had a heating pad that I needed to exchange because it was not working correctly. I did not have a receipt because I bought it online. I know their policy is if you don't have a receipt, they can either exchange it for the same item or give you store credit. Well first of all, Elijah had an attitude with me and told me that I was not allowed to exchange it. I had to get store credit. So, he gave me store credit of $29.99 and I got the same item and had to pay $10 more to get it. When I asked his name so that I knew who to complain about in the review he was like mam I tried working with you. No sir, no you did not. And if you are really the manager like you said, you would know that you are allowed to exchange for the same item with no receipt. Check your website! read more

Ya well, I stopped going to the Trancas CVS thinking it was maybe...off? Then the CVS automatic checkout devices appeared. These are a company killer Just wait. You know, the ones with the automated cranky mommy lady voice in the box? The disembodied voice that bolts direction while irritating - well - everyone. As a person who has little problem with other auto check systems why do I feel assaulted by this device? This matter culminated when I accidently walked out of the store with what I thought was my purchase. Surprise me! At home I looked at the purchase receipt and realized I had the tag from another person. Did I steal nail polish? Apparently. F. CVS. I cannot endure that onerous lady in a box again. I used to get my prescriptions here and switched to rite aid because they were horrible. Well my sister came from out of town and had to get prescriptions from Queen of the valley. They sent it to this store and i was like oh no. Well a whole day later and 4 visits to this pharmacy still no meds and just rude responses everytime we try to find out whats going on. This is worst CVS I've ever visited. They added new self checkout kiosks. Where are the human checkout clerks? Problems with the checkout and no humans around for advice and assistance. This CVS is terrible. Slow pharmacy service, understaffed, and prescriptions are always late. I've been coming here for 7 months and every month it's the same terrible service and constant mistakes. It is also extremely difficult to get someone from the pharmacy on the phone. I waited 30+ minutes today and still never spoke to someone. It's time to switch to another pharmacy. This store is near my home. I was excited to have a drugstore nearby when they opened, but they seem to make it almost impossible to buy anything. Yesterday I needed some NyQuil. They had mostly empty shelves, but I eventually located a tiny bottle. I took it up front to pay. There was no one at the register or in photo. Okay...self checkout it is! But no, both self checkout registers were CLOSED. I looked around the store. No one. I went across the street to Rite Aide & bought just what I needed with a helpful, friendly guy at the register. When "one"particular Drive-Thru assistant" is always beyond rude and today decides to hand me this filthy change as I left, which felt as an intended rude action. I pressed the customer service button for the 1st time, explaining "it's not my intent to be rude, but could I please either have singles or a new $5 bill" apologized again then feeling it was important to explain why I made my request. Not only did the customer service representative walk away from the window and forced me to wait at her will, and did so making me aware that I was being punished for making such a request. After my extended wait the customer service representative saw fit to return my change but doing so in a fashion where she threw the money downward into slot with angry body posture and then proceeded slam the drive thru windrow drawer outwards towards my vehicle. Customer service is just not for her or the department and demand she's is in, as obvious she works with a handful of amazing co-workers, she's just a bad Apple!! read more

Long ago I had written a review for this establishment and it seems to have disappeared. What a shame. Anyhow, I have new adventures to tell.... Went out this a.m. with the intent on getting some stuff done. Hit up Midas over on Soscol for my oil change appointment which wasn't really an appointment at all but more of a, "Im interested but havn't made up my mind yet"-ment cuz they apparently were all booked up anyways, but this review is about my corner CVS where I have great experiences. I have rented a rug doctor here previously and it was a very pleasant experience. Didn't take long and it apparently wasn't a hassle. Things have apparently changed over there. I asked the gentleman at the front if I could obtain one of these beasts. We walk over to where the gods have split the clouds and shined down a single beam of light to where the beasts lie. Now apparently security is quite lax over there at the drug and go because they have a padlock and chain around them. Probably dont want them attacking customers and gettin em all clean and stuff. The guy turns to me and says, "I dont have the key, manager gets back around 11". And that was that. read more

to say this store is incompetent is an understatement. The other day I received my prescription after a second trip to the pharmacy because they didn't have the prescription correct. After I got home I realized that the bottle was mis labeled. much to my shock! My prescription was for 500mg Metformin but was labeled as Lisinopril! While yes I know the difference, how many other prescriptions have gone out from this store to other people that DONT know the difference? It doesn't get more dangerous that that. If I knew of a regulatory org I would report you in a heartbeat and I will be searching out that aspect to do just that. I hope someone gets fired over this, deservedly so as they are endangering peoples lives. I should take this to the local newspaper so they can warn people of your gross negligence. He has helped me on numerous occasions to solve problems and insure the necessary medications are ready when needed. This is one of the highest priced prescription pharmacies in Napa.In addition, they will go to the furthest length to get the highest price for their meds. I have given them valid coupons with their name on it from GoodRX for the amount they have agreed to charge for the medicine and every time without fail, they have overcharged me as much as 100%. They try to bring you in with the prices at GoodRX, then make it incredibly difficult to get that price. No, I am not exaggerating. They also have made many mistakes on my prescriptions, under filling. Definitely not in your best interest. read more

We have been using this pharmacy for our daughter's medications for several months. Until this week, it has been good. In fact, the manager John has been wonderful, so has Greg. This week, a very important medication for my daughter was running low. I called and was told (after the woman checked) that they had it in stock and I could pick it up in the afternoon. I was not able to go to CVS unit the next morning when I was told the medication would not be available until the afternoon. When I asked why I had been told it was ready, the person had no answer. In the early evening, I called to see if the medication was ready for pickup. I was told that their delivery was late, and they could not guarantee it would be available. I said this is a mandatory medication for my daughter, and asked what choices we had. The choices included calling the doctor to change from liquid to pill - although my daughter can no longer swallow pills, and it was 5:00 PM on a Friday, so I was told there were no guarantees that the doctor would be available. Getting to this point involved 4 phone calls. Once, I was on hold for 5 minutes (no exaggeration, I looked at my phone) and then someone picked up the phone and disconnected me. The second time, a woman was so rude she would not let me finish my sentences but kept telling me it was not their fault that their delivery was late. The third time, a more polite person informed me they would call the doctor, but there were no guarantees and said they would call other stores (this took 3 calls?) to see if the medication was available elsewhere. This time I was on hold for 12 minutes. When the person returned, I was told that they could keep looking, but there was no medication in the general area. They could keep calling, but if they found the medication it would be, at least, a "few cities" away. I asked what my other options were, as my daughter could not miss a dose. I was told, we can call the doctor and see if the doctor would prescribe pills instead of liquid. Again, she cannot swallow pills, and it was now after 5:00 PM on a Friday. I was so frustrated, I told them to forget it and hung up the phone. I had a partial dose of liquid medicine at home and knew we could get through the night, although this was not optimal. I do not know if they kept calling other CVS pharmacies, as no one called to let me know. However, an hour later, they called me and said their medication delivery had arrived, and I should give them an hour to come to pick it up. I came to pick it up 1.5 hours later and was told the system was down, and I would have to wait (really?). Greg came to the rescue, found her meds which had already been filled, and apologized for the inconvenience. On the verge of tears, I thanked him and said he was the first person CVS Coombs in Napa that had been nice in the last few days. read more

This is one of the largest CVS that I have visited. It's very spacious inside & the aisles/cases are well stocked. Very clean inside. I came in because I received a 40% off 1 item coupon (how can you beat THAT!?) Mya was my cashier & she was VERY HELPFUL. I wanted to get a fragrance & was hoping to not delay the line for a long time (there were a few people behind me) & she was super quick with the keys & got my product so fast & rang me up without batting an eye. So FAST with service. I mentioned that I wished they had sample tester bottles & she said a lot of customers have asked for that & she would bring it to the department head's attention. CVS is good for a convenience store. It's in a shady part of town, so their store security alarms often go off. The cashier gave me a discount, despite the fact I don't have a CVS card. It's on a main thoroughfare, though it can be a challenge to enter. They have substantial sections of paper and hygiene products, along with dental and skin care. They keep it clean. Employees there are helpful. Their pharmacy is drive thru. I don't shop here often. It's good for what it is. A convenient store that's convenient. read more

Hey CVS, I was very taken aback the other day when I was making some purchases at your store and noticed that you keep the condoms locked up. Razor blades, sure, but condoms? We should be *encouraging* their use, not discouraging them. If you want to decrease the likelihood of their being stolen, help make their purchase less stigmatizing rather than more. The day manager, when bringing issues to his attention, when I told him of my frustrations and that I would be taking my business across the street to Rite Aide, his reply "Ok"! On multiple occasions I've had problems with products being past their expiration dates, products not being in stock and employees walk right past you while you are searching for items. No amount of coupons will keep me at a store that doesn't seem to care if the customer is there or if their need is important. read more

It's nothing like being released from the hospital after 5 days recovering from a three vertebrae fusion surgery in my neck, to have your prescriptions called into the pharmacy near your home and to first have the 5 prescriptions not be ready three hours later when we went to pick them up. Second when they are ready for pickup to find out that 2 of the most important prescriptions were not filled and instead I was given a $90 Narcan Nasal Spray (for drug overdoses) that even though it is because of the pharmacist incompetency, I cannot return it because it has left the pharmacy. When I was a retail manager, a mistake like that (first of all was not potentially life threatening) was written off as a damaged item. So it's not okay for CVS Pharmacy on South Coombs Street in Napa to take a loss for their mistake but yet me as the customer is supposed to just eat the loss instead. Never mind that my Mother has to make a 3rd trip to CVS tonight. I'm not financially strapped that $90 is a burden for me but for those patients that are limited on funds, this could potentially be a huge loss.
