She is truly a gift from God…read more The other workers at the pharmacy were incompetent & kept refusing to use the coupon I had for my father's medicine & kept trying to send me off without it. This medicine was CRITICAL for my father & without it he would have died. They did not care not one bit & would not put in the work to help me get it otherwise it would have cost me 5 thousand dollars that we did not have. He had a major heart attack in his main artery which was a miracle he survived it at all so for them to give me such a hard time & want to be lazy to do their job was incredibly disgusting. Rana however saw the pain in our eyes while trying to figure it out & she FORCED the other pharmacist to do it correctly as she noticed he kept putting in the wrong numbers, her shift was actually over for the day but she did not leave until she watched him do it successfully. She is honestly the most wonderful human I've witnessed in a while. She deserves the world, a raise, a promotion etc. May God bless her for eternity. I came back to the pharmacy to pick up the refill and was told that they had any refill requeat from me! What? I gave her the name of the medication which she looked up and told me, Oh Yeah. We called and your doctor did not elect to refill the prescription. I asked if they called my cardiologist which I had advised. They said no. They called my general practioner. What. I picked up medications but not the medication I was requesting today. I contacted my wife who said we did not have this refill and were working with an older to supply. Recently, I dropped a prescription off for her and made sure that we would have no interactions....the pharmacy asst. said she did not think there was any issue....but she would double check with the pharmacist. This was for a new type of medicine, so I was not sure. According to her computer nothing was coming up. So after waiting 10+ min, it was ready and I went up to the counter to pick it up. The cashier seemed surprised when I asked to have the pharmacist double check. So the pharmacist came up and was put off that I questioned anything. Turns out- they substituted it for something that they added dye to. I said that we were not paying for that and she needed to contact my daughters MD if there were any questions. The pharmacist had me wait there until she had time to call the doctor( there was no one else there). The doctor confirmed what I had stated.....someone did not catch the warning in the system. After I screwed up my first print Colleen called Faith (manager on duty i assume) up to the front. Faith not only helped me through my little debacle but several customers just walking through waved and said hi to her like they were life long freinds. And she took the time to smile back and say hi as well. She helped Colleen through something with a customer check out, changed out to the right paper on the printer, then fixed the printer, all while being kind and personable to all the customers. CVS you got a good one here. It's refreshing to see someone who knows how to handle people and get things done at the same time. Not something this world has much to offer anymore.
