Do you know that they have the summer items already on display!? Retailers waste NO TIME BABY! LOL I noticed the display of Black History Month Items and I thought it was cool. Target is known for displaying culture appropriate items. Showcasing black creatives from food items to clothing lines. I can appreciate that. Worst Target! The management is rude to customers and does nothing to help. The store is a mess and always low in stock. To make it worse, I over heard a manager, Jan or Janet (I believe was her name) speak to older an older female staff member in a degrading tone. I was asked to leave the store for no reason what so ever and was escorted out by a team of employees including multiple security officers. Note I did nothing wrong they kicked me out for no reason. For reference I am a Middle Eastern man and do indeed look the part. read more

The way this New Lenox Target operates is way below the standards I've come to know from experience with other locations. I used to buy a lot of my grocery dry goods and and household items here. I got tired of how much Target's jacked up the prices this past year, so I buy virtually everything at Meijer down the street. Stopped here today to buy their Almond milk, only because it has better taste than other brands. Shelf tag says $2.49 per carton. Every time I go to self checkout, it scans at a higher price. So today when I told Rob who was on duty there that I had four cartons and they'd all ring up wrong, I asked if he'd fix the price. He looks at his handheld unit and says "the price is $2.59". I told him I'm aware that's what the system says, otherwise it would have scanned at the advertised price. Then his mouth opens and stupid words come out: "I don't know if you're in a bad mood today or what, but I said the price is $2.59. I told him every other person working this area has always corrected the price. He says "You need to talk to the store manager, who just walked away." Rob has now lifted himself to jackass status. Can this kid be any more ignorant? I asked him what his name is and I said I will be calling corporate guest relations. That motivated Rob to log into the register, select the option on screen to "correct price/wrong sign price". Perhaps no one ever gave him a connect the dots coloring book as a child, but if that option exists in the Target system, that tells you the process is indeed to give the customer the item price that is posted on their sign. Too bad his first instinct was to push the customer into paying a higher price. This store has other problems, there's often just one cashier in the evening, so everyone ends up in the self-checkouts. Today I noticed there is a sign that says "10 items or less". So if you buy more than ten, you get to stand in line with people waiting for the one cashier. The above was also a problem at Christmas. One cashier with self-checkouts either all closed or long lines. Target has had revenue issues and they plan on offering a cheap "Dealworthy" product line to draw more customers. Fix the real problems, folks. 1) Stop offering groceries at prices ridiculously higher than full-service grocery store and 2) Get rid of rude and lazy staff member Rob. Another thing to watch out for with Target is how much higher their store prices are than their online prices. They will match them, but you have to go to Customer Service and stand in that line. Today online a pack of batteries was $6. Store price, close to $10. If you want customer loyalty, price your items fairly. Today I did a pickup order and the girl was extremely rude! She tossed eggs in my truck and they had fallen out everywhere. Thankfully I organized my trunk and noticed before leaving. When I said something to the girl she just ignored me. I called customer service and they put what seemed like a fake manager on the phone. He definitely didn't care about the girls behavior or what she had done. read more

I asked if i was able to exchange, one associate said yes. I waited at the return desk for 10 minutes no one came. Later asked another member, they said "NOPE no exchanges only return and rebuy SORRY"...... amazing experience. Eventually went to the cashier that had an attitude for having to process my return. I got my favorite Winky Lux eyeliner here and tore the barcode diagonally when opening by accident. I used it for a few days and my eyes became red and itchy. I returned the item- they didn't ask me why or if I used it- they saw it was CLEARLY opened, had to look up the number since the barcode was so ripped. I went back later that day and saw my EXACT EYELINER ON THE SHELF !!!!!!!!! Not even marked opened or returned. I go to eye doctor to find I have pink eye. I feel like I got infected from this Target!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely disgusting how they put used makeup products up for sale treating them as brand new!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have started using the Target drive up service in recent weeks and I couldn't be more pleased with it. The orders are filled correctly and promptly. There have been times the Target employee is waiting in the designated parking spot for me because I used the Target app to let them know I'm on my way. This service has so expanded my world during the pandemic. I hope Target continues it. PS. They've also expanded the service to grocery items. Yay, Target! read more

A lady helped me find an item there today. That was the good news. Bad news: The self checkout machine short changed me. The person watching for shop lifters just stands there and does basically nothing. It seems like the only Target stores that are any good are the super ones. I truly love this target on a normal day but day to day they are changing the checkout structure and it's very frustrating. Apparently you can no longer just go to self checkout and have to get in one big line that doesn't allow for social distancing and let an associate put you in a line. I feel that if I only have one item, I should still be allowed to freely use self checkout and not be forced into one of the other lines. This Target is the one I visit regularly. Today was not their day to shine. As usual the carts at the front of the store are filled with garbage from previous customers. This ranges from paper, hangers, tissue, parts from shelves, coffee cups, etc. I really don't want to have to touch someones old tissues. I always buy my laundry detergent at this store. Today they were changing the shelves of Tide to a different size bottle. Searched and searched for Tide for high efficiency machines. The staff member says she has it in the back. After looking there is none. Sounds to me like the person that does purchasing dropped the ball. How do you forget that. I also need softner. I prefer Snuggle. 1 bottle left otherwise shelf is empty. Then proceed to look for the pop I needed. Dr Pepper. Only diet left. Do you see a trend here???? Time to check out now. There are 3 lanes open with at least 5 people in each lane. After waiting 10 minutes they open another lane. But of course instead of taking the people who have already been waiting they take a person who just walks up. Pretty annoyed with Target today. Was sure things would change after the security breach that happened. Maybe a problem with management? Who knows. Maybe I shall try Walmart! read more

FRIGGEN TARGET! I come in here all the time, because it's close to my house, and thought I'd go in here to start a second wedding registry. Well, I had already started one online, which was SWEET, and we already had another at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. So, Diana and I thought we'd go set another one up, because it'd be cheaper. Well, it's really not (like we thought it was), but they also have TVs and BluRay players in here. So...whatever We walk in, and tell the lady at the counter that we were registered here. Now, mind you, that we just got done at a place where they sit you down in a little "Registry Room," and go though out the entire process, answer questions, etc. Here, they pretty much give you a scan gun, print our your sheet, and tell you to stop bothering them. They didn't really SAY that, but the tone of the lady's voice was like we were bothering her. And I've heard a lot of other not-so-nice registry stories about this place as well. Anyway, as usual, the store is clean, and nicely organized. It doesn't look like a GARAGE SALE like WalMart (though I do like WalMart). We were helped out by another gentleman when we got to the TV section of the store. He was a little nerdy and awkward, which I dig (we seek our own), but helpful. This experience wasn't bad, but it could have been better. And I do agree with "Chuckster S." that the islands in the middle of the parking lot are ridiculous, unless you have a Smart Car. And they DEFINITELY need to work on at least ACTING HAPPY when a couple comes in because they're getting hitched. It's a pretty big deal... read more

Its target-what's not to love? My pizza that had grey pepperoni and expired 7 months ago. Not worth going back and getting $3 over, but the others I bought expired a few days after the day I bought them too. Never thought a frozen pizza that old would still be in the freezer with the way those things sell, so just a heads up to others to check the dates here. read more

Pretty clean and organized. Decent selection. The $1-$3 section is definitely not the best I've seen, but the women's clearance selection well stocked. The Starbucks employees are fast and friendly. The cashiers are super friendly and chatty, which I love. read more

Stopped in to pick up claritin D as target has the best cost on these and the pharmacy lady knows me and my coupon. I also needed a new coffee mug for travel. As I was browsing and must evidently looked helpless. A young lady that works there asks if I need help finding something. I looked at her and she asked again. I was not trying to be rude just amazed as I have never been asked if I need help here before. I said yes a coffee mug for my car and office. She said follow me and took me right to the area they are kept. She also explained if I wanted to see more they kept a few by the grocery area. Wow thank you. Not the biggest store and parking is a bit tight but you can get in and out pretty quick, helpful and friendly. read more

Wow, to say they went out of their way for me is a gross understatement. My son broke his Ipad this August 20th or so. I bought the Ipad on my target card not really understanding the return policy. The screen shattered early Oct and we thought the 30 day return was over. I took it back to see what my options were and the electronic department was a huge help. They advised me if I purchased on my target card I get 60 days, they walked me to customer service to help me check, they looked up my wifes card number who purchased the Ipad and they gave me a full refund which allowed me to get a new Ipad. Talk about going way above and beyond. Awesome customer service, very personable and good to see they're willing to go the extra mile for a customer. read more

I love having target so close but it can be dangerous! The workers are very friendly and actually know what they are doing here as compared to the Tinley Park location. Whenever they are out of stock of something they are more than willing to give me a rain check or call another store close by and have it saved for me. I also once had something left at register and came back but it wasn't found. Even though they could not find it they still allowed me to go get exactly what I left there as a replacement. read more
