black lady in the pharmacy gonna mess my name up 5 times with an attitude and then after I spelled it out for her finally got my name right. She grabs my prescription and then says I need your ID, she did not ask the person infront of me that she just gave them their medicatio. maybe that's protocol but I've never been asked that, then I say I don't have it on me but I have a picture, she says that won't work, I say I have my debit card with my full name on it, she says that won't work you'll have to come back another time. If you order online or by phone, do not trust the pickup time promised. It. Is. A. Lie. You need to call and see if it's ready (it will not be). If you allow them to text you, don't go until they text you it's ready (and cross your fingers). The only reason we use CVS is because our criminal insurance company (they're all criminals, Universal Healthcare Now!) get kickbacks to make them the only pharmacy we can use. We're shopping for a different CVS, but so far, they all seem bad. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! CVS Pharmacy of Chestnut Hill Rd in Newark, DE is by far the worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. For years I went to Rite Aid across the highway up until they closed and I rarely had issues getting prescriptions refilled. The staff at Rite Aid was much more willing to help get matters quickly resolved when authorizations or renewals were needed. CVS however leaves their customers hanging typically with no clue why the refill was denied. Customer is left having to guess weather to their doctor or call their insurance provider in many cases wasting time making multiple phonecalls. read more

Will never use a CVS pharmacy again. I was prescribed meds for an infection but was put through the wringer because it's been supposedly wrongly prescribed for Covid, which we know is a strain of the flu and denied the prescription. It's disgusting what is going on in our country, patients denied medication due to big pharma, money and control. Because of this people have been allowed to die, it's truly just evil. And those supporting this and working at these places who support the agenda are just as bad. Stand up!!!! read more

My husband tested positive for Covid again after finishing his meds, getting better, and rebounded. His doctor prescribed the same med and the pharmacist had no issue filling it until I picked up. They asked for insurance which I provided, and then proceeded to tell me she would not be filling it. I didn't not ask for the or to be ran through insurance, I was there to pick up and bring the meds home. She would not give me the med, I said this situation was stupid and THE PHARMACIST then CALLED ME STUPID. Very professional of her. This store is the worst I have ever been too. No wonder this world is the way it is. She shouldn't be working with the public. I won't even get started on the things she said to my husband. read more

Consistent turnover results in terrible service. Was on hold for more than 13 minutes, then told to hold again, for another 7 minutes. Then cut off. Called back, on hold for 10minutes, someone picks up and says hold. Another 5.5 minutes. They are not helpful, instead they want to give false information, and rush you off. read more

Store is far from organized. Staff look unhappy. Rx department even worse and commit to times but never keep. Calling store is like trying to call the President of the United States.. hold times have exceeded 40 minutes! Pharmacy did not offer any savings opportunities nor any advice or instructions on prescription fills when dropping or picking up!!! Store needs a complete overhaul! read more

Tried to get through to this location multiple times and I can say that I was on hold over 40+ minutes on 8 different occasions at different times and they NEVER answer their phone. They process prescriptions even when you ask not to be auto refilled. Then you cannot call to cancel nor can you order online later bc they claimed they refilled previously! Day 1: I was having trouble finding a medication in stock. Transferred my son's rx online to CVS and got confirmation email from this location that it had been received and was being worked on. Day 2: Didn't get a msg that it was completed before closing that night, so I called to check the next morning. They said they had no record of it. I gave the girl my info again, and they were to call the original pharmacy and take it from there. I called back to check at lunchtime. Not only had they not filled it, they couldn't even confirm that they had it in stock so I could decide to try elsewhere. They had never even contacted the other pharmacy. I was promised a call back that afternoon with confirmation. Day 3: Never heard from them. Day 4: It's now been 4 days since my online transfer confirmation email. I prepaid for my prescription but the drive thrill is shut down and I had to wait in line for 20 minutes to pick up my prescription. Unacceptable especially when I prepaid to speed the process up!!!! I will use the one at corner ketch from now on!!!! read more

Terrible service. Pharmacists do not pay attention to customers. They never have medicine on hand, and when they tell the customer they will order, they dont. Praise the Lord that the condition i need medicine for isnt life threatening. BEWARE of this pharmacy. read more
