The second time I've stopped in. Store was clean and shelves were stocked both times. Would have been 5 stars but having a large family and ordering a large amount of chicken for dinner, the employees preparing the food make and female complained of the amount work needed to be done. This is still a fairly new location. It was opened in 2018 just before lockdown and frankly the paint still looks fresh on the place. I've only used the gas pumps here however and unlike the Wawa back up the road a couple of miles the place is never busy on my visits. It was about 10:30am on my last fill up here on a Tuesday morning. This is basically your last stop if you're heading south down 7 to 1 and on to Dover, and a great place to fill up the vehicle and stretch your legs before you're back in your car for a couple more hours. read more

OMG. This place was terrible. Half their cooler was empty. All I wanted was an Arizona or Peace Tea. Nope. They had a bunch of corporate types there. Hopefully retraining management how to run a store. And I have a rule. If I have to work for you(i.e ringing up my own items) y'all are paying me somehow. You got let off easy. read more

I was excited about this brand new Royal Farms not because of its famous gas station fried chicken, which I did not get on this visit but will review on another RF location, but because of its proximity to my work place. I am notorious for pushing my gas tank to the limit and often find myself creeping home on E and a prayer mostly due to my poor planning and the fact that there was no gas station that close to Christiana. I could go out of my way to Wawa on 273 or hoof it over to the 13 were gas stations are a plenty but after a late shift I just want to hop on 95 and get home where there's a station just two blocks away. This Royal Farms has been my new best friend located right on Route 7 and Triple A Blvd. The new road ways in and out are a bit confusing so be cautious. Where there was once one road leading to either the old SPCA to the west or Border Cafe to the east, you now have multiple turns and stop signs for all the new businesses that have sprung up here. But the gas is the cheapest you'll get before heading further east that's for sure. read more

Worst royal farms!!! Always out of everything and had to get refund on multiple occasions because I don't get told they are out of products like chicken, tenders, cups, ect..! First of all the man working put a open cheese cup out of the counter which is picture below and wasn't told they were out of chicken tenders for the chicken sliders so I watched this man pull apart a chicken thigh that looks old and full of fat on a slider bun lol! I said "I was never told you didn't have chicken tenders" and I got a refund in all the items and left the only reason they got a second star is because the staff was really nice about everything but never going to this location ever again! read more

Honestly my favorite gas station. This one is really close to my college campus and always has some kind of deal be it potato wedges discounted or slushi's. Sometimes the serves is slow during a rush or when they are making more potato wedges but nothing to bad. If you have rofo rewards then you save at least 10 cents on gas which is AMAZING. Honestly recommend this place to everyone! read more

Ordered at 5:22 pm. Told that potatoes were cooking and would be done soon. Food preparer finally dumped potatoes into cooker at 5:32, and at 5:45 finally got my "four piece" chicken meal. When I got home, I only had three pieces. Paid for four, waited for 23 minutes and apparently they only knew the need potatoes and not more chicken thighs. AT PRIME DINNER TIME. This is a repeat problem I have had with Royal Farms. It shows a willingness to take money without providing what was ordered, or more. As good as the chicken is, this company is not well run and clearly the culture is that of taking advantage of customers because they can't run their business effectively. read more

This is the absolute worst store I have ever been to in my entire life. They have some self scan registers or something so I thought I would have to go to the cashier to get my cigarettes I waited at the cashier for an incredibly long time for the only two people that were in front of me because she was so slow and stupid. Then after she got done those two people she told me she be right with me so she could go help all the people behind me that word to self scan things so she began to car people for cigarettes back there and I pronounce receipts for them for things that they purchased and they were not waiting the 10 minutes that I was waiting in line so I asked her nicely to please wait on me before she waited on the people behind me and she was very rude, tried to give me wrong cigs then said they didn't have my brand. Meanwhike she is still trying to help the people that were in line behind me and half ringing up my little bowl of soup that I bought. So I swipe my card for the soup and she's back helping the other people and I walk over to the food counter when she goes back to registe and she. tells Me i have to come back and sign. Go back and sign and she walks back to help the other people again and I go back to the food counter to get the soup now they won't give me my soup because I don't have a paid receipt. and then the guy behind the food counter went to check if I paid andcame back and said just give her the soup as if I did not just wait nearly 20 minutes to pay for the gross soup. If you can help it at all do not go to the store for any reason trust me you will be sorry if you do just hop right on 95 north and take the five minutes it takes to get to 141 exit and go to Wawa you will not be disappointed like you would be if you went to this shitty Royal Farms read more

This chicken is delicious. I have heard a lot about the business and decided to stop finally and what a treat it was. Out family loved the chicken and since that visit we have been back for more a few more times. The surprising part was when we walked in and there was like a whole kitchen prepping chicken. A very nice surprise . If they had a drive thru I can imagine it will sell even more. But it is a gas station so you kind of go "ummmm", but there it is delicious fried chicken. It got the Vote from my mom and mother in law and those two are appreciative of good food. read more

I usually don't take the time to review convenience store type places, but feel compelled to make others aware of this subpar establishment. First off, the self-checkout machines are pretty much out of order in some way every time. The store is not that old, so they must be poorly manufactured. Also, there are no trash cans outside if you park in the back not near the gas pumps. This is not super convenient if you need to get rid of something from your car. I ordered chicken strips today and did not get the sauce. When I asked the girl behind the counter she gave me a withering look and had to ask another employee if she could give me the sauce. It was an odd experience overall. read more
