Great location, great variety of items, 24 hours a day. BUT, the pharmacy department? Good lord, what a disaster! I typically go in the evening, between 6-9pm and i have waited in line for as long as 40 minutes. They seem completley disorganized behind the counter with employees asking others "Where is this?" or "Did you fill this? you did? Well it's not in the bin?" I am also shocked at how many people ask for thier presription only to be told "You did not have this scheduled to be picked till later" and the customers immediatley point out that it's wrong. It seems as though the CVS staff is lying about pick up times to cover their incompetence. I had this happen to me as well. Called in the early AM to order a prescription for pick up at 5pm. I got there at 6pm and was told "You said you wanted it at 8pm". BS. The drive through is even worse. I have waited at the window for 10-15 minutes many times. Just today i called to check if multiple presecriptions were ready that the automated system could not help me with and i waited on hold for 12 minutes!, then a person picked up and said "Pharmacy department, can you please hold" and before i could even say anything put me back on hold. After 19 minutes i hung up. I am done with this place for prescriptions. Clearly they are understaffed and do not have any plans to do anything about it. I asked at the front of the store "Are you hiring for the pharmacy department" and was told "No, not right now" Avoid this place. If the management cannot even adress unreasonable wait times, imagine their level of concern for making sure prescriptions are filled properly. read more

I would like to thank the pharmacy technician named Cathy or Kathy for making me a Rite Aid customer. She said I would have to drive back into Boston to get a new prescription because the one I had was not printed on tamper proof paper. And according to her they do not accept called in prescriptions from Mass General. Rite Aid gladly filled my prescription and had it ready in 10 minutes. read more

ALL oF THE SERVICE IS TERIIBLE AT THIS STORE!!! The staff had a great deal of difficulty filling a precription . It took 4 hours in total . As a bonus they also "Lost my insurence card " Then acted completely oblivious to its whereabouts . Rude and uncaring the staff lacks cognative function and abilty . I got up early to go to the 24 hr pharmacy due to having to be into work. I brought my monthly prescription in and it happens to be a schedule 2 drug due to a disorder I have had since I was young, The pharmacist took one look at it and rolled her eyes and said "are you going to wait or come back (rudely)" I answered with I need to wait I am going to late for work then proceeded to sit in the waiting room (3 chairs) Now 6:05 am. The pharmacist placed the prescription on the back counter never going to the computer not once. I waited 40 mins watching her drop returned med bottles in a plastic bin. She must of looked at me 3 times while i was sitting waiting while doing her other work. at 6:40 as the prescription still sits on the counter and didn't move i said, excuse me, Can you give me an update I need to get to work. Not saying a word with a look of disgust she grabs my prescription, rolls her eyes and walks over very slowly and hands it back to me and says, i cant fill this I need a serial number. Now, I been getting my prescription at the other CVS in NA and never once has there been an issue with my insurance. Same insurance for 10 years. I asked her why do you need a serial number and she said I cant fill it not answering my question and said I need to call the DR and they are not open, you'll have to wait., I looked at her and said" I told you I was waiting and was going to be late for work and you couldn't have told me that 40 mins ago? She shook her head and said ' I am not filling it". I asked her name 'Anita" . I took my prescription and started to leave. At the front counter I asked for a manager and they informed me he was not in until 8:00 after missing my meeting I went back to the pharmacy and waited another hour until the Manager came in, He simply filled my prescription and did an override on the register to fill my legit medication. Let this be a lesson to the pharmacists you are not Dr's and Yes I know you need to be careful but no need to make a customer feel embarrassed about there disorder and to be treated disrespectful because you don't like the drug I am on??I work in the pharma industry and have for years. what she did to me I hope no other customer has to feel. She should be let go. Worst experience in my entire life, I am mortified and dread getting my prescription filled every month because I am met with people who judge and think automatically I am an abuser. Its not right and something has got to be done. I dread getting this medication but i cant help it and i will NEVER go back her again NEVER.. Worst pharmacy ever. Many times I have came here and it looks like the girls in the pharmacy dept never know what they are doing and are to busy goofing around and talking about their personal lives. If not they are speaking in spanish about the customers in line then laughing! They have no respect. I also called in to have a script transferred from boston down here and was told I can't do it unless it is another cvs. I let the guy know the pharmacy that has the script told me he can call them to have it transfered. The employee named vic then got an attitude and said "fine I will just call it in". These people all need to take classes in customer service or atleast have common sense about how to treat people. Ive also had issues when refilling a prescription and then I get the text saying its done so when I go to pick it up im told its not on file. Arr you kidding me!! I will not be coming here anymore. Walgreens is so much better and polite. If I could give them no stars I would. People go to another pharmacy unless you like being disrespected read more
